Chapter 226 Rescue
A premonition? Dui knew that people like Romystadt and Gandalf possessed intuition comparable to prophets.

But he was still a little hesitant.

After all, if he could put Moreda in danger, and even make Romistanu, who went to rescue him, sense danger, what kind of turning point could a weaker wizard like him bring?
He couldn't very well refuse since the other person had just helped him.

After hesitating and struggling for a moment, Dui sighed helplessly in his heart. He simply couldn't bear to watch the two blue-robed wizards fall into danger.

As far as he knew, the two blue-robed wizards had been resisting the encroachment of Sauron's forces in the East, relieving the pressure on Western countries against Sauron and making a certain contribution to the final victory.

But after the final Battle of the Ring, only Gandalf of the five wizards successfully returned to Valinor.

Of the other wizards, Saruman the White lost his right to return because of his betrayal;
Darrigast the Brown, captivated by the nature of Middle-earth, forgot his original mission and ultimately chose to remain in Middle-earth, continuing to live in the forest with his animal companions.

As for the two blue-robed wizards, little is said, but it is speculated that they likely failed, which is why they were unable to return to Valinor.

Dui didn't know how the two blue-robed wizards had failed, but seeing Morida in danger and Romistanu preparing to rescue her, he had a vague idea.

Perhaps without his arrival, just as Romisdanus had foreseen, the two blue-robed wizards might have been trapped in a desperate situation, thus failing their mission.

Therefore, without the two blue wizards hindering it from the East, Mordor's strength surged dramatically during the War of the Ring, allowing it to launch attacks on all sides. The number of troops it had for defense was still several times that of the Gondorian army.

Knowing the situation, Dui naturally couldn't let Romisdanu be put in danger.

So he accepted Romisdanus's invitation and decided to go with him to rescue Morida.

Hearing Dui's reply, Romisdanu was very happy and grateful.

Romisdanus and Moreda were very good friends. When Moreda, who was then known as Alathal, volunteered to go to Middle-earth, Romisdanus, whose real name was Palandor, came to Middle-earth with his friend to help fight against the threat of Sauron.

So even knowing the danger, he did not hesitate to rescue his friend Morita.

“I know this journey is fraught with danger, and I am already extremely grateful that you agreed!” said Romisdanus, who then pulled out a white horn inlaid with gold from under his robe.

"This is the horn of victory. When it is sounded, the sound can travel thousands of miles. It can not only instill fear in the enemy and joy in friends, but also summon the horn blower's friends to come."

This is something I brought with me when I came to Middle-earth; I'm giving it to you now, and I hope you won't refuse.

He then handed the horn to Dui.

Dui was surprised to hear this, not expecting the horn to come from Valinor.

However, since it was something the other person carried with them and had brought it from Valinor, it must be of great significance.

He immediately waved his hand and refused, saying, "I won't take what belongs to others, Wizard Romisdanu. This horn has been with you for so long, so you should put it away."

Romisdanu didn't give Dui a chance to refuse, directly shoving the victory horn into Dui's arms, shaking his head and saying:
"This is the horn that Morida and I made together. If we can rescue Morida, we can make another horn later, but if we can't, it will be meaningless to me."

Seeing Romisdanus's insistence, Dui had no choice but to accept the horn.

Then Dui realized that Romisdanus's introduction to the horn had been too simplistic.

The horn is clearly made of white ox horn, pure white as jade, radiating a bright and sacred aura, and is definitely not from an ordinary ox.

In addition, the horn is covered with ancient and mysterious characters, containing extraordinary power.

This horn can be described as a sonic weapon. Blowing it not only instills fear in enemies but also generates a massive sonic wave, causing immense suffering to a wide range of enemies.

More importantly, it is not an attack that distinguishes between friend and foe. To the enemy, it is deadly noise; but to our own people, it is an inspiring and pleasant horn.

It can even send a call to friends thousands of miles away, who will then rush to its aid.

Having obtained such a powerful artifact, Dui was even more determined to save Moreda; otherwise, he would be letting down Romistanu's gift.

Romisdanu and Dui did not linger in the Dorwin tribe and immediately headed south towards the Khande and Harad regions.

Khand is located southeast of Mordor, and its main inhabitants are the Varangians, who raise horses, have skilled cavalry, and are a nomadic people like the Rohan.

Harald is located south of Mordor, and its main inhabitants are Haralds. The Near Haralds, who are closer to Gondor, have brown skin, black hair, and black eyes, and are similar to the Gondorians.

However, the Far Harads have dark skin and dark eyes, and are said to be the result of interbreeding between various dark creatures and humans.

Furthermore, the Harads tamed mammoths, which became their mobile war towers, riding on them as they rampaged through the land.

Moreda spent a long time operating in the Khagan and Harad regions, secretly instigating rebellions against the rule of the Solons, and infiltrating the Khagan and Harad leadership to turn them against the Solons and free them from their control.

Along the way, Dui couldn't help but be surprised as Romisdanu talked about Moreda.

These two blue-robed wizards are truly formidable. Romisdanu is in the Eastern Yi region, organizing guerrilla warfare against the forces of Sauron.

Namoreda was more like conducting espionage, undermining the power of Sauron from within.

Throughout the journey, Dui flew at low altitude on a flying broomstick.

Romisdanu, on the other hand, rode on a bison and was just as fast as Dui.

To avoid attracting attention, both chose to travel through uninhabited areas, avoiding the tribes of the Khan. Romisdanu was certain that Morida was not in the Khan's territory, so neither of them stopped and continued south, finally entering the Harad region a week later.

The Harad region is a mixed bag, including not only people from near and far Harad, but also many pirates, bandits, and Black Numenor people.

The near-Harads are partially civilized, but the far-Harads are an uncivilized race, eating raw meat and drinking blood, living in jungles and wastelands, and interbreeding with dark creatures such as trolls and orcs, so they can no longer be considered human.

As for the Black Númenor, they are descendants of the Númenor, just like the Dúnedan. However, they were corrupted and evil by Sauron, and chose to serve and submit to Sauron, becoming part of Sauron's dark forces.

Most of the Harad region is desert, so the two avoided Harad Road and traveled through the desert toward the city of Minas Harad.

Minas Harad is located deep in a canyon in the Harad Desert. It is a giant fortress built by the Harads to monitor the Harad region.

Dui and Romisdanu hid behind a sand dune, quietly gazing at the fortress in the distant canyon.

The bison behind them seemed to sense the danger, remaining quietly in place without making a sound.

“Romisdanu, are you sure Moreda is in this fortress?” Dui asked quietly.

Romisdanu nodded firmly. "I'm sure. My connection with Morida tells me he's here!"

Okay, is it some special connection between best buddies? Dui said he didn't understand but chose to respect it.

However, as if to confirm one last time, Romisdanus closed his eyes and softly called out, "Alatar, Alatar..."

His voice was deep and carried a mysterious power.

After a while, Romisdanus opened his eyes and his gaze was fixed on the tower of Minas Harad Fortress.

"Morida is on that tower!"

But how to get close to the tower is a problem.

Minas Harad was clearly a fortified stronghold, with not only a large number of Harad soldiers, but also orcs and even enormous mammoths. Under the gloomy sky, countless giant bats circled around the tower.

If it were just dealing with these things, they wouldn't be afraid.

The problem is that if a huge commotion is caused, it might attract Sauron's attention, and that would be the biggest trouble.

"Our best course of action now is to find a way to infiltrate the fortress. If we can secretly rescue the wizard Moreda, that would be ideal. If not, we can also force our way out," Dui said.

He then took out his wand, pointed it at himself, and his body quickly became invisible.

Then he also cast a disillusionment spell on Romisdanus.

Then, under the cover of night, the two quietly approached the city of Minas Harad in the canyon.

As for the bison, it was left in place, ready to be summoned at any time.

The two bypassed the giant mammoth and arrived at the fortress gate. They passed the guards of the Harad soldiers without being seen, but when they passed the orcs, the orcs sniffed their noses warily.

"To confuse the public~"

As the silent incantation fell, the nearby orcs were momentarily dazed, instantly forgetting what they were doing.

The two then passed through the city gate, silently dodging numerous checkpoints, and finally arrived at the tower where Moreda was imprisoned.

If it weren't for the giant bats surrounding the tower, Dui would have loved to Apparate directly to the tower.

Harads and orcs were also stationed on the tower. The two of them circled around and climbed up the tower, finally finding Morida imprisoned in an iron cage on the top floor.

Moreda looked terrible at this moment, his body covered in marks of torture, his staff nowhere to be found, and he was trapped in a spiked iron cage, his breath weak.

Seeing his friend in such a terrible state, Romistanus was filled with worry and tension. He disregarded his own safety and used his staff to smash the iron cage, rescuing Morida.

Meanwhile, the giant bats outside the tower also sensed the anomaly, emitting a piercing sound before attacking Dui and the others.

"Protect them all!"

Dui cast a protective spell to block the giant bat.

When Romisdanus saw that his friend was still unconscious and looked like he was about to die, he was about to use his magic to save him when Dui stopped him in time.

He took out a golden cup, poured the recovery potion he had made into it, shook it to allow the potion to exert its full potency, and then fed it to the unconscious Morida.

With the recovery potion and the healing power of the Golden Cup, Moreda regained some of his vitality.

He slowly opened his eyes and saw Romistanu. Instead of being pleasantly surprised, he showed a look of horror.

"This is a trap! You, you get out of here!"
