Chapter 345 Corrupting Students
The Dwarf Ring is extremely dangerous and should not be touched by hand, so Dui quickly took out a mithril box, locked it inside, and prepared to deal with it later.

Then Dui's gaze returned to Eamon.

“Mr. Eamon, can you tell me where you got this ring from? Or who gave it to you?”

"And who gave you that medicine bottle and told you to put it on your food?"

Looking into Dui's sharp gaze, Eamon felt as if he had been pierced through, with no secrets left.

He was trembling slightly, tears streaming down his face, his eyes filled with fear, lingering dread, and bewilderment.

"I can't remember who gave it to me. It seems to have been a classmate from the same college. I can't remember what he looked like at all. I only remember that he said something to me, and then I became dizzy and just wanted to listen to him..."

Then, he gave me the ring and made me wear it. He also gave me a medicine bottle and told me to sneak into the kitchen and put drugs in the food and drinks... However, the dean stipulated that no student could act alone, so I persuaded my two roommates to sneak into the kitchen to get some food. Many people in our college do this when they miss mealtimes or are hungry, so they didn't suspect anything.

"Headmaster, I don't know why I did it, but I didn't want to hurt my classmates, so I used a stunning spell to knock them unconscious. Waaah... Headmaster, please don't expel me! I'll accept any punishment as long as you don't expel me!"

The more Eamon talked, the more tears he shed; he didn't want to be fired.

Dui possesses the ability to manipulate thoughts, which allows him to confirm that Dui is not lying.

Gandalf and Galadriel were naturally able to distinguish between the real and the fake.

So the three of them exchanged glances and their expressions became even more serious.

Dui looked at Eamon, whose face was filled with fear and who was terrified of being fired, patted him on the shoulder, and said gently:

"Don't be nervous, Mr. Eamon. No one here will expel you. I know that wasn't your intention. You must have felt the allure of that ring. Even we professors can't resist its magic, let alone you. So don't feel guilty."

Then he smiled and turned to the two students beside him, "I don't think your two friends will blame you, right?"

Amon's two roommates nodded quickly. They had just heard the whole story and knew that Amon was controlled by the evil ring and the person who gave it to him, so they naturally wouldn't blame him anymore.

“Alright, please take Mr. Emmon to the school clinic and let Mrs. Amanda treat him,” Dui said to the two students. “And please keep this a secret, okay?”

The two students quickly nodded, promising not to tell anyone, and then took their roommate, Eamon, to the school clinic for treatment.

Eamon was hit hard on the back of the head with a baseball bat by Peeves. Although Dui healed the bump on the back of his head, the brain is very fragile and complex, so it still needs to be examined by a professional doctor.

More importantly, Amon has been in contact with the Dwarven Ring for quite some time and has already been affected by it; the internal effects cannot be cured in a short period of time.

Perhaps we'll need Elrond, the best physician in Middle-earth, to completely eradicate the Ring of the Dwarves' influence on Amon.

But the most important thing right now is to find Saruman, who is hiding among the students!
Dui was filled with rage. If it weren't for good luck today, when Peeves happened to discover the controlled Amon and prevent the accident in time.

It is likely that all students and professors have already consumed the food and drinks contaminated with the Black Death plague, and the school will descend into chaos.

Therefore, Dui immediately ordered all students to return to their respective dormitories and be looked after by the deans of their respective colleges.

Meanwhile, he, Gandalf, and Galadriel immediately went to the common room of the Dragon Academy.

Although Amon couldn't remember what the person who gave him the ring and the medicine bottle looked like, he remembered that it was a classmate from the same college.

Following this clue, Dui immediately went to investigate the Dragon Academy.

Upon arriving at the Dragon Academy's common room, all fifty-odd students were present, except for Amon, who was still in the school infirmary. Facing these puzzled and curious students, Dui didn't say much, but instead used his wand to examine each student, observing their expressions and thoughts.

Under the white light emitted by Dui, the students were full of doubts and obediently lined up to be checked.

As the examination continued, none of the students had any problems until it was the turn of a first-year witch. A lingering dark aura emanated from her, reacting with the holy light like black smoke.

The students all looked surprised.

The little witch who was detected looked bewildered and surprised when she saw the ominous black aura emanating from her body.

Duy, Gandalf, and Galadriel all wore solemn and grim expressions.

This little witch clearly had been in contact with the ring and showed signs of being controlled by dark magic.

But it wasn't the Saruman they were looking for.

It was clear that Saruman's student in disguise was someone else entirely, who had manipulated the young witch before him to hand over the ring and the vial containing the Black Death plague to Amon.

He remained hidden in the shadows, leaving no trace.

After instructing the Dragon Academy's Dean Margaret to take the little witch to the school infirmary for treatment, Dui turned and headed to the other three academies.

To his horror and anger, he still couldn't find Saruman's whereabouts, but instead discovered several students who had touched the Dwarf Ring and were tainted by the dark aura.

These students had all been exposed to the Dwarf Ring for some time, and their minds had been corrupted to some extent.

And they were all junior wizards from his territory!

If it weren't for this major inspection, it's possible that my mind and will would have been twisted without me even realizing it, and I might even have become a dark wizard!

"What exactly does Saruman want?!" Dui gritted his teeth. Saruman had completely crossed his bottom line. If Saruman were to appear in front of Dui now, he would want to torture him with the most intense Crucifixion Curse.

Gandalf and Galadriel were also furious; they found Saruman's cruelty in treating children utterly despicable.

They couldn't imagine how their former comrade-in-arms, who had fought alongside them, could have become so evil and unscrupulous.
All the students who had been tainted by the dark aura were sent to the school clinic for treatment.

Mrs. Amanda, who works at the school clinic, felt sorry for the children's plight and kept denouncing the person behind it all.

Duy, Gandalf, and Galadriel also joined forces to dispel the remaining dark power on the students.

However, even the powerful Galadriel could not completely eradicate students like Amon who had been exposed to the Dwarven Ring for a long time and whose minds had been corrupted by dark forces.

Therefore, Dui had no choice but to seek help from his father-in-law Elrond, who lived far away in the Valley, and deliberately avoided Alvin.

When Elrond arrived at Hogwarts, he couldn't help but frown upon seeing the students in the infirmary who had been corrupted by the Ring.

Upon hearing that the perpetrator was likely Saruman, the usually mild-mannered elven lord's eyes revealed disgust and murderous intent.

Elrond truly lived up to his reputation as the finest physician in Middle-earth. With the power of the Ring of Air, Vya, he healed the students affected by the ring to a great extent, preventing their minds and wills from being further distorted and corrupted.
