Chapter 347 Possession
There was a sound of rapid footsteps.

"What happened, Professor Luke?"

The other professors, led by Vice Principal Edward, were all drawn over by the commotion.

Then I saw Professor Luke standing there, with two students lying down beside him, and the portrait in the frame next to him also unconscious.

Upon seeing the professors arrive, Professor Luke said with a grim expression, "I just got here and found two students lying here, and even the portrait has been attacked!"

"What!" The professors' expressions changed, and they looked at the two children on the ground with concern.

Seeing the tense and worried expressions on everyone's faces, Professor Luke reassured them, "Don't worry, I just checked them and found that they were only affected by the Stunning Curse and there was no other harm. Moreover, a Reviving Curse has been cast, so they should wake up soon."

As soon as he finished speaking, the two students lying on the ground opened their eyes one after the other and sat up with blank expressions.

"Mr. Damon, Mr. Eric, do you remember who attacked you?" Vice Principal Professor Edward asked directly.

Both students shook their heads blankly.

"Professor, we don't remember! We only remember leaving the library and heading back to our dorm, and then we don't know how we ended up here."

Seeing that the student couldn't remember, Edward looked at the portrait on the wall next to him.

He waved his wand and dispelled the spell.

The unconscious knight portrait awoke, looking at everyone with a bewildered expression: "Professors, what are you doing here?"

Edward asked directly, "Sir Knight, did you tell me in your dream who attacked you, Damon, and Mr. Eric?"

The knight in the portrait tried hard to recall for a while, then shook his head: "I didn't see who it was, I only remember that the attacker was not tall, probably a student!"

Well, the clues have gone cold again, and Professor Edward was disappointed.

Just then, Gandalf and Lady Galadriel arrived.

Upon seeing the two, Professor Edward's eyes lit up, as if he had found his pillar of support. He quickly stepped forward to greet them: "Professor Gandalf, Mrs. Galadriel, you've come at just the right time..."

Upon hearing Professor Edward's words, Gandalf and Galadriel both frowned slightly.

They didn't expect Saruman to get restless so quickly and take action again, even attacking two students.

Both men walked up to the two students and carefully examined them.

Immediately, they all frowned and focused their gazes on the student named Damon.

The two looked at each other, their expressions grave.

“This child bears the lingering scent of dark power. He has not only come into contact with the Ring of Power, but also shows signs of being possessed!” Galadriel communicated with Gandalf telepathically.

Gandalf nodded in agreement.

"Saruman has clearly shifted his possession target, but it's unclear who he's possessing now?"

As a Maiar, and now in a spirit state, Saruman can hide inside a person's body so well that even they wouldn't be able to detect him.

That's why Gandalf and Galadriel found it difficult.

"I just hope that Duir and Lord Elrond can create the Marauder's Map as soon as possible and find Saruman!" Gandalf sighed.

Gandalf then instructed the professor to take the two children, especially Damon who had been possessed, to the school infirmary for treatment.

After all, two souls reside in one body, and one of them is the powerful Saruman. This has had a certain impact on Damon's soul. In addition to needing to dispel and purify the remaining dark power, he also needs to drink a soul stabilizer to solidify his soul. "They are all students of my academy. I will personally take them to the school clinic," Professor Luke offered.

No one else objected. After Professor Luke left with the two students, the other professors conducted another thorough search, checking whether any other students were missing or suspected of being alone.

Gandalf even found a nearby portrait and asked who had just passed by.

“Professor Gandalf, not many people passed by here just now. The first group was two students from Thunderbird School, then Professor Luke on patrol, and then the other professors and you arrived.”

Oh, by the way, I don't know who was casting a spell in the hallway just now, that red light almost blinded me, and it nearly hit my picture frame.

The portrait was filled with complaints as it was being painted.

A curse? A red glow? Gandalf caught the information and his eyes narrowed.

The two students who were just attacked were both under a Stunning Curse, and a Stunning Curse doesn't produce a red light when cast.

As far as he knew, the appearance of red light was usually a sign of a disarming spell.

Neither of the two students had been disarmed by the disarming curse.

Sensing something was wrong, he immediately asked the portrait, "Mr. Portrait, did the curse appear before or after Professor Luke arrived?"

The portrait replied, "I remember it was after Professor Luke appeared."

Gandalf's expression immediately changed. He had sensed something was wrong earlier, but his attention was mainly focused on the two students, so he forgot about Professor Luke, the first person to arrive at the scene.

Or perhaps "Professor Luke" was too good at disguising himself, preventing him and Mrs. Galadriel from immediately noticing his odd behavior. He also used the excuse of escorting two students to the school infirmary to avoid staying with them any longer.

Galadriel also heard Gandalf's question and quickly realized what was going on.

Without saying a word, the two chased after the school clinic.

Seeing that the two looked strange, the other professors followed them with their own questions.

Upon arriving at the school clinic, I found a room full of unconscious people, including students lying on hospital beds and Professor Luke.

But the school doctor, Mrs. Amanda, was nowhere to be found!
Gandalf's heart sank. "We're too late!"

He immediately turned to Vice Principal Edward, who had followed him, and said, "Edward, quickly get all the students back to their dormitories, and at the same time, look for Mrs. Amanda. I suspect she's been possessed! Be extremely careful when you look for her; the other party might use lethal spells!"

Upon hearing Gandalf's words, Edward and the other professors were shocked. Looking at the unconscious people in front of them, they realized the seriousness of the situation, nodded immediately, and turned to leave with the other professors.

“If Saruman were to possess Amanda, I doubt any of the other professors could stand a chance. I’ll go help her too,” Galadriel said.

Gandalf's expression softened. "Then I'll trouble you, Madam. Duir and Lord Elrond are at a critical juncture and cannot be interrupted for the time being. The sooner the Marauder's Map comes out, the sooner we can capture Saruman."

Saruman must have sensed the danger, which is why he's become restless now. We cannot let him succeed.

Galadriel nodded, then left the school infirmary, using her powerful mental energy to spread throughout the castle in an attempt to find traces of Lady Amanda and Saruman.

Gandalf, holding his staff, released a holy light that enveloped the entire school infirmary.

As the light faded, all the unconscious people awoke.

Gandalf looked at Professor Luke, who had just woken up, and asked with a serious expression, "Luke, do you remember what just happened?"
