Chapter 350 Exposed
Smaug also left the vault and climbed down the cliff face north of Windrise into the castle via a special dragon passage.

Because of their enormous size, they couldn't enter the castle, so they simply stayed on the huge lawn outside the castle.

With his massive size and height, Smaug was able to see ten lines at a glance and observe the activity on each floor of the castle.

Smaug's appearance drew gasps from the professors and students; many had only heard of dragons but had never seen one.

Even those who had seen the dragon Smaug before were shocked by its current size.

After the initial shock and fear, the students and professors seemed to regain their confidence and become more at ease.

After all, with such a huge dragon, what enemy could they possibly fear?

Students from all colleges crowded in front of the windows of their dormitories and common rooms, their eyes fixed intently on the golden dragon, which was taller than a castle. They felt an instinctive awe, but also a deep sense of worship and longing.

Is this the legendary dragon mount of the headmaster? It's enormous!

Just then, a tremendous sound echoed throughout the entire castle:

"All students, stay in your dorm rooms immediately and do not come out! All professors, please come to the conference room!"

"It's the principal's voice! The principal is out!"

The students and professors were overjoyed and filled with hope when they heard Dui's voice.

Only the person hidden among them changed his expression, his eyes turned gloomy and dark, and a sense of unease filled his heart.

The students were very obedient, staying in their respective dormitories and not going out to cause trouble.

Meanwhile, with all students in their dormitories, all entrances to the college's common lounges automatically close and lock.

Regardless of whether the password was correct or not, the entrance gate remained completely still.

This forced those who initially attempted to enter the college and blend in with the students to give up.

Upon hearing Dui's voice, the professors throughout the castle rushed to the conference room.

"Professor Edward!" A voice came from behind Edward as he headed to the conference room.

Edward turned around and looked at the professor, who was panting and pale. His wary expression softened instantly. "Professor Allenhis, did you just come from the Potions office? No need to rush. Catch your breath first."

Allenheath is a professor of potions and the headmaster of the Basilisk Academy. His office is located near the Basilisk Academy dormitory, on the basement floor. He spends most of his time brewing potions in his office to supply the medical room.

Therefore, he was not very noticeable among all the professors. His complexion was also somewhat pale due to the lack of sun exposure for a long time, and his hair was greasy due to the long-term brewing of magic potions.

However, unlike the potions professor from another world, Allen Heath was quite talkative.

As Allen Heath walked with Edward, he asked curiously, "Professor Edward, do you think the headmaster calling us to the conference room means he already knows who the hidden person is?"

Edward shook his head: "I don't know either. The headmaster said before that he was going to make something that could catch people in the shadows. Now that he's calling us over, maybe he's already finished it."

“If that’s true, that would be great. I really hope they catch that guy in the shadows soon, so we can all breathe a sigh of relief,” Allen Hiss said.

Suddenly he noticed the weariness in Edward's eyes, took a bottle of potion out of his pocket and handed it to him.

"Professor Edward, you look very tired. Here's an energy potion I just made. Drink it, don't overwork yourself!"

Edward was taken aback when he saw the potion being handed to him, then showed his gratitude: "Thank you, I need this right now, otherwise it wouldn't be good for the headmaster to see me in my current state."

He reached out to take it, but just as he was about to touch it, a magical barrier appeared out of thin air between them, preventing them from making contact.

Both of them were startled by the commotion and immediately drew their wands, preparing to face the direction from which the magic had come.

But then they saw Dui and Elrond walking over from not far away, along with several other professors who had arrived earlier.

"Headmaster! Why are you here?" Allenhis looked surprised, then looked at the magical barrier in confusion. "And what's going on here?"

Dui didn't speak, his eyes cold as he looked at them.

Elrond, standing to the side, said, "Professor Ellenhis, come over here first."

Ellenhis looked on in confusion, glancing at Elrond, then at the silent headmaster beside him, and finally at Edward, who was isolated by a magical barrier. He was completely bewildered.

But she still obediently walked towards the other side.

Dui's gaze did not fall on Allen Heath, but remained fixed on Edward the entire time.

He sneered, "Saruman, I destroyed your body back then, but let your soul escape. I didn't expect you to dare come to the castle and cause trouble right under my nose. Is it Sauron who gave you the courage?"

Edward, sitting opposite him, was completely bewildered. "Headmaster, what did you say? I'm Saruman? You must be mistaken! How could I be him!"

Seeing Edward's earnest expression and his very familiar demeanor, the other professors were somewhat uncertain.

They had been with Edward for over a year and knew each other very well, yet they hadn't noticed anything unusual during that time.

They simply couldn't believe that Professor Edward, the vice-principal and the person Duir trusted most and entrusted with important responsibilities, could be possessed without leaving a trace.

But seeing that neither Dui nor Elrond hesitated at all, I was no longer sure.

Dui waved the dragon-skin map in his hand and sneered:

“Saruman, you are indeed very good at disguising yourself. Even Gandalf, Lady Galadriel, and I could not see through your disguise and could not find your whereabouts for a long time.”

Unfortunately, no matter how well you hide, your name can't escape my Marauder's Map detection!

On the Marauder's Map, Edward's name was superimposed with the blood-red name of Saruman (Kurumo).

Kurumu is Saruman's real name, which was his name in Valinor when he was a Maiar, while Saruman is his name in Middle-earth.

Upon hearing Dui's words and seeing the dragon-skin map radiating magical energy, "Edward" immediately dropped his disguise, revealing a sinister smile that didn't match his true self, his eyes filled with resentment.

"You're really something! Duir, I used to think you were just an insignificant person, but I never expected to fall into your hands time and time again. Now you've even been reduced to the point where you don't even have a physical form anymore, just wandering around like a ghost!"

But... even if you find me, what can you do to me? Are you going to kill me?

Saruman grinned smugly as he spoke, “But if you want to kill me, you have to kill this body first! I remember he was your most trusted servant, and he was indeed loyal enough to you, even trying to take me down with him to stop me from using this body to deceive you!”

It's a pity his soul was too weak; he couldn't even fight me, not even commit suicide. And can you bear to let this most loyal person of yours be buried with me?

With that, he waved his wand, casting a spell that shattered the magical barrier set up by Dui, and then immediately cast a spell on Dui and the others: "Shatter to pieces!"

Duy quickly flicked his wand, deflecting the incoming shattering spell, which struck the castle wall instead.

A huge hole was instantly torn open in the castle wall, and rubble flew everywhere.
