Chapter 354 Morgoth

Dui reacted instantly, his face turning ugly and filled with murderous intent as he stared at Saruman:
"You told Sauron about that sacrificial magic circle?"

Saruman nodded, his face calm: "I know that the sacrificial circle was offered to Morgoth. Such magic circles were all destroyed and erased by the Valar army when Morgoth was defeated and banished to the Void in ancient times, but for some reason the magic circle at the Black Barbarian Shrine was left behind."

Originally, I was just curious about what you did at the Black Barbarian Shrine. After using the True Knowledge Crystal to go back in time, I saw the sacrificial magic circle that you destroyed. Out of curiosity and for research, I wrote it down.

Until my physical form was destroyed by you, and my soul flew to Mordor, where Sauron seized the opportunity to control me and make me his servant, thus this sacrificial array fell into his hands.

Elrond also knew about the sacrificial magic circle of the Black Barbarian Shrine, and had Dui destroy the magic circle diagram he had drawn to avoid future troubles.

Hearing Saruman's explanations, Sauron frowned and asked, "That magic circle was an evil spell cast by Morgoth's followers, who sacrificed human lives to him. How did Sauron use it to regain his power?"

Saruman explained, “Because this sacrificial array can connect with Morgoth, even though Morgoth has been banished to the void beyond the world. As long as enough sacrifices are made, Sauron can reconnect with his former master and regain power through Morgoth’s strength.”

Then Saruman's lips curled into a mocking smile: "The only problem is that once Morgoth is connected to the sacrificial magic circle, Morgoth may use the magic circle to obtain the location of Arda and thus return to this world."

Although Sauron had once been Morgoth's servant, having become king himself, why would he willingly return to slavery? That's why he didn't choose this potentially risky method to regain his power.

"But now, because of your appearance, Duir has caused Sauron's plans to keep going wrong, and Mordor's power has been confined to the Far East, putting it in a passive position."

To Dui's astonishment, Saruman's soul dissipated with the west wind and vanished from the room.

"What was that just now?" Dui turned to Gandalf and the others in surprise.

The room was sealed off, making it impossible for any wind to rise. Yet, the strange wind ignored the walls and blew in from the west, causing Saruman to vanish completely.

Neither Elrond nor Galadriel spoke, but seemed lost in thought.

Gandalf sighed, "Saruman has gone where he was meant to be. Don't worry, Duir, Saruman will not appear again." Duir also had some guesses about the strange wind coming from the west.

But since Gandalf had already said so, he didn't ask any more questions.

Although he couldn't completely destroy Saruman's soul, he wasn't disappointed, as long as he wouldn't reappear.

Having dealt with the major problem of Saruman, Dui turned his attention to Edward.
