Chapter 360 Number of Sacrifices
Sauron did not expect that the Elves would become suspicious and wary of him, secretly forging the Three Rings of the Elves on their own, and never using them until the One Ring was lost.

Due to their racial characteristics, the Ring of Power had little effect on the dwarves; in fact, they were given seven dwarven rings for nothing.

Only the Nine Commandments of Man worked, corrupting the nine human kings into Ringwraiths.

That said, both Morgoth and Sauron had their own agendas, and ultimately reached a deal.

Sauron wanted to use Morgoth's power to gain strength and form.

Morgoth also wanted to use Sauron's sacrifice to restore his power and break free of his shackles.

To give Sauron a taste of his own medicine, Morgoth's will on the altar condensed a very pure dark primal power and poured it into the demonic eye above Baradurtar.

The demonic eye instantly grew larger, hotter, and more dazzling, emanating an even stronger aura and pressure.

Sauron's spirit was like a long-awaited rain after a drought. Although this rain was only a drop in the ocean, giving Sauron, who had been thirsty for a long time, a glimmer of hope.

The will of Morgoth on the altar, after giving up the power of the dark origin, could no longer be maintained and completely collapsed.

Only the empty altar remained, the now-dulled lava seemingly having lost most of its heat, emitting a pungent sulfurous smell.

The remains of those humans, elves, and orcs had long been swallowed up by the lava, leaving no trace.

"Pass on my orders!" Soren's voice came from Baladurta.

"From today onward, the army of Mordor will be sent out in batches, mainly to capture humans and bring them back to Mordor, the more the better."

"Yes! Roar!" The army of Mordor roared in response to Sauron's words.

"Master, are you preparing to attack Gondor or Rohan?" the Witch-king of Angmar, the leader of the Ringwraiths, asked respectfully.

“No, attacking Gondor and Rohan now would alert the elves and wizards, and might ruin my plans. The most important thing now is to capture humans, not to conquer and rule them,” Sauron said.

Hearing Sauron's words, the Witch-King of Angmar hesitated: "But... Master, in this way, it may not be easy to gather a million sacrifices. Gondor and Rohan have a large population, and they are the best source to gather the sacrifices."

"No rush. We'll capture humans first from the Rovanian and Rune regions, as well as the Dongyi, Khaander, and Harad regions. There are quite a few humans there. We'll send the Mordor army eastward and bring back those disobedient humans as sacrifices."

"Moreover, we are not in a hurry. A few decades is just a blink of an eye. Those humans are like pasture grass, they are cut down and then grow back. A few decades is enough time for them to reproduce for several generations. We can keep those captured humans in captivity and let them reproduce continuously."

At the same time, the Orcs should continue to multiply and grow stronger, forging more weapons and equipping the army. When the time is right, the entire army should be mobilized, simultaneously sending troops to Rohan and Gondor. There is no need to conquer or rule them; the goal is to bring the human captives back to Mordor as quickly as possible…”

With a command from Soren,
The mighty army of Mordor surged out from the east of Mordor, heading towards the Eastern Barbarian region north of Mordor, the Khaander region east of Mordor, and the Harad region south of Mordor.

These areas were all within the Solonian sphere of influence, inhabited by people such as the Dongyi, Varyaq, and Harad.

Most of them accepted Sauron's rule and faith, and joined the Mordor army in attacking Rohan and Gondor, belonging to the dark human forces influenced by Sauron.

However, with the help of two blue-robed wizards, a group of people still rose up against Sauron's rule.

Now, with the army of Mordor pouring out of Mordor, the resistance forces in these regions have suffered annihilation.

Each Mordor army was led by a Ringwraith, and what terrified the rebellious human tribes was that this time, these bloodthirsty Mordor armies no longer killed any resisting humans outright, but instead tried to capture them alive.

The captured humans were shackled and, under the whips and stern urging of the Mordor army, were driven toward Mordor's main camp.

Those human tribes that had originally submitted did not fare well either.

Under the threat of the Ringwraiths and their armies, each tribe sacrificed a portion of its people to be taken to Mordor. Meanwhile, small groups of Orcs, guided by ravens and giant bats, ventured from Mordor into the desolate wilderness north of the city, wiping out small tribes and villages, abducting them all and bringing them back to Mordor.

For a time, the Far East region was plunged into tension and chaos.

Even the Dovenian region in the northwestern part of the Rune Inland Sea was attacked by a large army of Mordor.

Vineyards were destroyed, and both humans and elves living there were attacked.

Although a resistance was organized in time, many humans and elves were still captured by the attacking Mordor army.

The two blue-robed wizards quickly organized a fighting force and even engaged in battle with the Ringwraiths.

Although the Ringwraiths were eventually defeated, the forces resisting Sauron's rule suffered a severe blow.

By the time they realized what had happened, nearly half of the population of the entire Rune region had been abducted.

In Rovanian and the vast wilderness north of Mordor, the human villages and tribes that were originally scattered were almost all wiped out, suffering utter destruction.

While Mordor did not send out a large army to Rohan and Gondor, numerous Orc forces still invaded Rohan and Gondor, abducting some humans from the border regions.

Both Rohan and Gondor believed that Mordor was about to invade again, so they quickly organized large armies and deployed them to the border to fight back at any time. The King of Rohan and the Regent of Gondor immediately used the two-way mirror to ask Dui, Gandalf, Elrond and others for help.

But even after several months, there was no sign of a large-scale westward advance from Mordor; only small Orc squads were harassing the border and attempting to capture more humans.

These Orc squads were either killed or routed by the Rohan and Gondorian armies.

But the army of Mordor has yet to appear.

Both Rohan and Gondor were filled with doubt and vigilance, and remained wary of Mordor from all sides.

Meanwhile, on the side of Dui, Gandalf, and Elrond,
Upon receiving news that Mordor was continuously abducting humans, they immediately recalled Saruman's warning.

In the highest courtyard garden of the secluded valley, the White Path Conference was held once again.

Those present included Gandalf, Galadriel, Elrond, Romisdanus, and Dui.

After Saruman's betrayal, Gandalf lost his position as leader of the White Order, and with the joint recommendation of all the other members, he became the new leader of the White Order.

Later, at Gandalf's invitation, two blue-robed wizards from the Far East, Romisdanus and Moridae, also joined the White Order.

This time, at the White Path Conference, Cildan, as a member, was still escorting elves across the sea to the west, so he was unable to attend.

The blue-robed wizard Moreda needs to organize the people of the East to resist Mordor's army in the Far East, so he cannot come for the time being.

Romistanu's presence at the meeting, besides representing himself and Morida, also served as a plea for help.

The other members of the White Path Society would naturally not stand idly by in this matter.

Elrond, representing the Valley, and Galadriel, representing Lorien, dispatched a total of 1000 elven warriors to the Far East to aid the blue-robed wizard Moredar.

Duy, representing the Ministry of Magic, also dispatched 100 Auror wizards to join the expedition.
