Chapter 207 Filming Wrapped Up (Please Subscribe!)

"Are you two sure you want to really fight in this scene?"

The crew of "Die Hard" wrapped up filming today with the fight scene that Jackie Chan and Jet Li hadn't finished shooting before.

Before calling "start," Chen Fusheng checked with the two of them again.

After all, both sides are young and hot-tempered, and they don't know their own strength. If they really fight, they will easily get bruises. If they use the same moves, it will be much better.

Of course, rehearsed moves can feel rigid and monotonous, unlike the excitement and thrill of real combat.

"Confirmed." Chenglong and Li Lianjie exchanged a glance, both seeing the burning fighting spirit in each other's eyes. They had been waiting for this day for a long time.

Today, I'd like to take the opportunity of filming to have a proper "exchange of skills".

"it is good!"

After confirming the two men's attitudes, Chen Fusheng didn't waste any words. He instructed the medical staff next to him to be prepared, and then asked the crew to prepare for their upcoming real battle.

Before long, the machines were set up and the 'arena' was erected, so Chen Fusheng officially shouted 'Start'.

After shouting, he looked at the monitor screen in front of him. He saw that Li Lianjie was the first to move. He shifted his feet and shot out like an arrow, delivering a standard series of kicks straight for Cheng Long's chest. His movements were clean and swift.

Having experienced Li Lianjie's leg skills, Chenglong knew they were not to be underestimated. Instead of confronting him head-on, he chose to temporarily avoid the attack. He used the nearby stairs to swing his body like a nimble monkey, then used his feet to gain leverage against the wall, thus dodging Li Lianjie's attack.

Seeing that Li Lianjie's moves had missed and that his old strength had been exhausted and new strength had not yet been generated, Chenglong seized the opportunity to launch a counterattack.

He leaped down from the wall and pounced like a cheetah, without any fancy leg techniques, but instead unleashing a swift combination of punches, each aimed at Li Lianjie's shoulders, neck, and ribs. This was his practical fighting style, incorporating elements of Western boxing, which was cunning and ruthless.

Li Lianjie reacted extremely quickly, his arms forming a tight, impenetrable barrier, and a series of muffled "snap" sounds echoed in the air.

However, he was well aware of Chenglong's close-quarters combat ability. After taking several punches, he combined his waist and stance, and with a powerful "heart-piercing elbow", he forcefully broke open Chenglong's offensive space. Then, he lowered his body and launched a fierce sweeping leg attack on Chenglong's lower body.

"Well done!" Cheng Long shouted, not retreating but instead performing a side somersault to narrowly avoid the sweeping leg. At the same time, his feet drew an arc in the air, heading straight for Li Lianjie's face! This move was both dodging and attacking, taking everyone by surprise.

Li Lianjie hadn't expected him to be so agile, and his backward dodge was somewhat rushed.

As soon as Chenglong landed, he tried to launch another attack, but Li Lianjie had already stabilized his position and no longer gave him a chance to get close.

Li Lianjie took a deep breath, his steps as swift as a dragon, and once again unleashed his signature move—this time, the faster and denser "arrow kick." His leg shadows were like whips, accompanied by the sound of wind breaking, forcing Chenglong to retreat repeatedly, only able to parry with his arms, each strike causing him excruciating pain.

"I can't keep blocking!" Chenglong's mind raced. He spotted an opening and used his shoulder to take a kick. He then rolled over to dissipate the force and grabbed a short wooden stick that was being used as a prop on the ground.

He grinned and swung the stick with great force, no longer displaying the style of traditional martial arts, but rather with the roguishness of a street thug, as he swung it down at Li Lianjie's head.

Li Lianjie's eyes narrowed, but he was not afraid. He dodged and weaved through the shadows of the sticks, and seized an opening. With a "crack", he delivered a precise side kick, which struck Cheng Long's wrist and sent the short stick flying!

With their weapons out of their hands, the two returned to hand-to-hand combat.

This time, they seemed to be really fired up, with a faster pace and more power.

Chenglong used acrobatic moves, leaping and bounding using the stair railing, sometimes kicking from above and sometimes punching from bizarre angles.

Li Lianjie, on the other hand, fought steadily and countered each move with a perfect combination of the soft power of Tai Chi and the fierce power of Shaolin Kung Fu. Sometimes he would deflect Cheng Long's powerful attacks, and sometimes he would counterattack with explosive short-range force.

The two fought from the stairwell to the platform, and then from the platform to the corner, their movements fluid and their offensive and defensive transitions dazzling.

Each punch and kick landed with a resounding thud, and sweat splattered everywhere. Finally, after a fierce clash, the two were thrown back several steps, their chests heaving violently, their costumes soaked with sweat.

Clearly, both sides were exhausted and did not immediately begin the next round of combat, but instead stared intently at each other.

The crew was stunned. Some couldn't help but want to applaud, but then realized they were still filming, so they quietly put their hands down when no one was looking.

A tense silence filled the air, as if an even fiercer battle was about to erupt, yet it also felt as if everything had already reached a perfect conclusion.

Behind the monitor, Chen Fusheng clenched his fist in excitement, knowing that this scene would become a classic in the history of action movies!
Even twenty or forty years from now, the same will be true.

Although this battle ended in a draw, it didn't need to end in a draw either.

Because Jet Li, who played the villain, did not die in this scene.

So, at this point, Chen Fusheng picked up the small megaphone beside him, and without calling "cut," he directly shouted out those two words:

"Filming wrapped!"

After he called out "Wrap filming," the entire crew was silent for two seconds before erupting into enthusiastic applause and cheers.

"Hooray, filming wrapped up!"

"Happy finalization."

"Waaaah, happy wrap-up!"

"..."

At this moment, cheers, laughter, and congratulations mingled together on set, and some sentimental staff members couldn't help but secretly wipe away tears.

Amidst the celebratory atmosphere following the wrap-up of filming, Cheng Long and Li Lianjie exchanged another glance. The fighting spirit they had displayed earlier was gone, replaced by a sense of respect for each other as heroes.

There is also the pride and relief of working together to complete a remarkable work.

"Let's give each other a hug," Chenglong invited.

"Okay." Li Lianjie nodded with a smile.

However, what neither of them noticed was that Chen Fusheng had the photographer capture this moment.

As for why I recorded it, it's not for any kind of collection, but because this shot is perfect for use as behind-the-scenes footage after the movie has finished.

After all, how can a blockbuster movie be without behind-the-scenes footage, right?
……

Hong Kong.

Dusk.

On the rooftop of a tall building, Lingzi reviewed the footage taken by the photographer and was generally satisfied, though there were still some minor flaws.

Looking at the sky, he felt they could film another scene, so he encouraged the crew members who had come to Hong Kong with him:
"Come on, comrades! Director Chen has already finished filming his scenes in China, we can't hold him back, right? Let's shoot one more set before it gets dark..."
