Chapter 74 Remarks on the launch

[Bonus Chapter Status]

I took a day off today to try and finish writing this part of the story. I'm sure I can get 10,000 words, maybe 15,000 or 20,000. I'll give it a try.

Working 996 like a slave, I really don't have any drafts saved up. Every day when I get home, around 9:30 PM I start immersing myself in the story and thinking about the plot. If I can get the plot pretty much sorted out by 11 PM, I can definitely finish the new chapter before 1 AM. (It's 3:09 AM now. After I finish writing the author's note and set a timer, I can go to sleep.)
So after it was published, I was able to update about six to seven thousand words a day. If I hadn't finished writing in the morning, I would upload the completed chapters first, and try to finish the rest before noon.

【grateful】

1. Thanks to my editor, Zhu Sha, for making it possible for a sudden idea of mine to be presented to everyone, and for her efficient communication and rich experience.

2. Thank you to the 3782 readers who followed the story up to August 9th. Your continued reading is the motivation for me to keep writing. Some plot points in the beginning weren't well-written, but I will gradually improve them later.

3. Thank you to the readers who donated:
Hachiman Hikigaya; wanlon; praise; the poor bastard with magic; lost 233; book friend 20190706102057050; all souls perish under the butcher's knife; under the dark sky.

It should be noted that...

1. To get closer to the Journey to the West, I mainly read the version published by People's Literature Publishing House. I also watched interpretations on Bilibili, Zhihu, and other platforms that I could find, as well as some based on the plot of the TV series that everyone is familiar with.

My principle is that as long as it benefits my plot, I will use it. After all, whether it's interpretation or plot, they have their own self-consistent logic, so I will use it.

For example, the "two lions theory" in the current plot helps advance my story, so I'll just use it directly.

2. Regarding the timeline: I'm actually quite confused. Chen Guangrui was the top scholar in the imperial examination of the thirteenth year of the Zhenguan era, the Water and Land Assembly also took place in the thirteenth year of the Zhenguan era, and Tang Sanzang also embarked on his pilgrimage in the same year. Since there's an issue with the timeline itself, I've modified some dates to advance the plot, so please bear with me.

So, if there are some discrepancies in the timeline that seem different from what I remembered, it's mostly because I adjusted the timeline to advance the plot.

[Finally] After the book is published, I will set up a comment section for readers. Subscribing to just one chapter is enough to reduce the amount of love you readers have for me.
