The gods of Toril need a magical network to build a faith network, but the Primals and dragons are different; they do not need faith, and their power comes from the primal magic of the world itself.

“Abel?” Salian looked blank. He seemed to have heard the word before, but he couldn’t quite place it.

“The homeland of the dragonborn,” Anser explained.

In Abel, the Dragonborn are slaves of the dragons. They struggled and rebelled for countless years before establishing their own Dragonborn kingdom, but they still live in the dragons' shadow, and their living conditions are unimaginable.

"What do we do now?" Salian looked at Anser, hoping that the learned spellcaster could offer some guidance.

“I don’t know,” Anser said, shrugging. “But staying put is probably not a good idea.”

The "lake" where the "Quesser" is located is only about one or two kilometers in diameter, and its depth is unknown. To the west, there used to be the vast Sword Sea, but now it is surrounded by land.

The northwest is a savanna, and the southwest is a dense forest. Many areas are connected to the cloak forest on land, making them indistinguishable from each other.

Salian's expression was grim. He picked up his binoculars and carefully observed the surrounding environment. He noticed a reflection at the junction of the forest on the north and south sides and the original coastline, indicating that half of the trees were submerged in water.

Forests provide convenient hiding places and have tall trees. Most importantly, the giant dinosaurs in forests are mainly herbivorous. Large carnivorous predators like Tyrannosaurus Rex, due to their limited mobility, generally stayed in plains or at the edge of forests.

Of course, this is not absolute. Abel's dinosaurs were created by the Primal Utau, and their habits are quite different from those of dinosaurs on Earth.

"It looks like a big bird?" Salian wasn't quite sure.

As soon as he finished speaking, the sound of water around them grew louder and more intense, and a group of long-tailed dinosaurs resembling large birds appeared far to the right of the sailboat.

They are about three meters long, with a light body and forelimbs that look like a pair of wings, but when they extend and retract, they reveal a pair of scythe-like claws.
