Mystery: The Last Shepherd

Chapter 170 I will protect you, my dear child.
Although they were excited to see their fellow countrymen, Luzer and Klein were both thrilled and shared their recent updates. However, they remained cautious and did not reveal all their secrets.
For example, Klein didn't mention that he ran a mysterious gathering above the gray fog and possessed the extraordinary ability to resurrect; nor did Luzer mention that he had illusory ocean currents in his head that could resist erosion and control.
"So, we all survived, and only the captain was killed?"
".Um."
When Dunn was mentioned, both of them fell silent.
That responsible and reliable gentleman provided them with various forms of assistance in settling down in this world, and ultimately sacrificed himself to save Tingen.
"For the captain's sake, and also for the revenge of you and me who can no longer live a peaceful life, I will kill Ince Zangwell with my own hands."
Klein said firmly, his eyes flashing with vengeance despite his gentle and refined demeanor, which was usually accompanied by a scholarly air.
"Count me in."
Lu Ze said calmly.
Given his vengeful and malicious nature, there's no reason he would let his enemy go unpunished. He might have let it go before because he didn't know who it was, but now that he knows, there's even less chance he'll let it go.
Ince Zangwell, the traitorous archbishop, was originally a Sequence 5, but now he has most likely been promoted to a Sequence 4 demigod, right? I'll remember that.
"By the way, there's one more thing."
Klein suddenly remembered the report he received from [Justice] on the gray fog, and said to Luze, "Do you remember Lanluus? Even that fraudster you tricked, that guy is still alive, and he's pregnant with the offspring of an evil god. He'll probably give birth soon!"
The arrival of the offspring of an evil god will bring not only a catastrophe, but also the subsequent descent of a true creator.
"I already know."
Lu Ze nodded. "I met a streetwalker he killed before. By the way, how did you get this information?"
"Well, you know, I'm a detective now, and I have a lot of informants passing on information to me."
"That's it."
Lu Ze nodded noncommittally and did not ask any further questions.
However, Lanius is indeed a problem; where can we find him and get rid of him?
Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.
"Ok?"
The man suddenly turned his head, as if he had heard someone calling his name, and looked behind him. Of course, there was only a wall behind him; there was no one there at all.
"I have a feeling that someone is talking badly about me behind my back and is hostile towards me."
He muttered to himself, reaching out to stroke his protruding belly.
The bizarre scene of a man pregnant always feels unsettling, no matter how many times you watch it. Indeed, this man is none other than Lanius, the one Luze and his companions are looking for.
"Did you hear anything, my dear child?"
His movements were very gentle, and his words were even full of affection as he spoke to the unborn child. However, the slightly upturned corners of his mouth formed a somewhat sarcastic smile, revealing the fact that he was completely unmoved.
Sure enough, just as he had deceived his fiancée Megalos in Tingen, Lanius was now using sweet words to coax the unborn child in his womb.
Even through the belly, the fetus inside moved.
Suddenly, something bulged out of Lanius's swollen belly and kept moving, as if the fetus inside was kicking and raising its hands, conveying some message to its father or mother.
"That's it"
Lanius listened intently, his face contorted with pain, veins bulging. Although no other sounds came from around him, he seemed to have heard something, nodding. "In that case, we can't just wait to be found by them."
"Don't worry, my child, I will protect you."
He muttered to himself as he walked outside.
"stop."
A cold, harsh voice suddenly rang out, "Lanius, your exercise time is over. Come back here." The voice belonged to an extremely tall man, who appeared to be at least two meters tall. He had soft, slightly curly, light yellow hair, a terrifying expression, and a solitary, ferocious demeanor, like a wild beast that didn't belong with its kind.
Lanius paused, then slowly turned around.
"You know absolutely nothing."
He shook his head and sighed, "Leaving now is the best choice for your Aurora Club."
"Stop talking nonsense and come here."
The burly man said bluntly, "Or do you want to suffer a little more?"
"Click it."
He clenched his fist, making a cracking sound, and his blood-red robe seemed to sway slightly, like water rippling in the wind.
"Alright alright."
Lanius's smile faltered for a moment, then quickly replaced with an even warmer one. "Don't be angry, I'll go back with you. For your lord's sake, please don't lay a hand on me."
As he spoke, he spread out his palms, obediently walked to the burly man's side, and followed him into the depths of the alley.
The burly man snorted coldly and turned to lead the way.
However, the moment the two stood side by side, Lanluus's belly suddenly bulged out, as if a tender hand had reached out through his belly and gently closed its barely formed fingers towards the burly man.
"what!"
Some invisible and mysterious power suddenly descended, and the burly man in front immediately let out a painful cry and fell to the ground with a thud.
"Wow—"
His blood-red coat suddenly collapsed, turning into pure blood that flowed onto the ground. Not just the robe, his entire body was disintegrating; his skin cracked, his muscles separated, and his bones were pulled out. It was as if every piece of flesh had gained its own will at this moment, wanting to escape the control of its master!
"Why, Son of God?"
The burly man's face showed not only pain but also utter confusion. He struggled to lift his head and murmured a question.
"Clap!"
Lanius kicked him, hitting him squarely on the bridge of his nose.
"Haha, hahaha!"
His eyes gleamed, and he grinned wildly, laughing incessantly. With a lithe physique unbecoming of a pregnant woman, he kicked the burly man's face violently and stomped on his head. "This is my child! We are one! Of course He will help me!"
"Lord, Lord."
The burly man spoke indistinctly, his prayers drowned out by Lanius's maniacal laughter.
"Smack! Smack!"
Lanius stomped his foot too hard, and as the other's body collapsed and disintegrated, the head quickly turned into a puddle of mud, making a disgusting, squelching sound as it was trampled.
"huh, huh"
He then stopped, panting heavily.
The pleasure derived from revenge quickly faded, and his expression even became somewhat dull.
After staring coldly at the shattered corpse for a moment, Lanius slowly bent down, attempting to squat. His large belly hindered his movement, preventing him from doing so; he could only sit down on the ground and then bend over.
His eyes held an indescribable madness, and his mouth gaped open, the corners of his lips tearing all the way to his ears.
He lowered his head.
"Coo-choo, coo-choo"
Soon, from the dark alley, came a terrifying, indescribable sound of swallowing.
