Mystery: The Last Shepherd
Chapter 79 Accidental Death
Chapter 79 Accidental Death
"Then we're leaving."
After a half-hearted breakfast, Luze and Cecilia got ready and went to the foyer.
"Wait a moment."
Ms. M spoke softly, walked up to the two of them, and touched their faces with her hands.
As Ms. M's fair fingers traced across his face, Lu Ze felt a chill run down his spine.
"Do not move."
Ms. M's fingers traced Lu Ze's eyes and ears, and he felt the mass of flesh inside him, which didn't belong to him, begin to move upwards. A bulge crawled up his face and melted, causing a sudden pain in his eyes and ears, from which blood flowed.
"All right."
Ms. M lowered her hand, and one of her eyes had changed, from gold to deep blue—the blue of the eyes of the Rondauer siblings.
"You shared our vision and hearing?"
With blood streaming from one eye, Lu Ze gritted his teeth and asked. A chill crept into his heart; Ms. M indeed had ways to monitor them.
He looked at Cecilia, and in his mystical eyes, he could see a bloody aura emanating from one of his sister's eyes and ears, red and decadent, swirling around her head. At the other end of this aura were illusory eyeballs and ears.
—If Lu Ze looked in the mirror right now, he would probably see the same thing on himself.
“That’s right, so don’t try to tell anyone,” Ms. M laughed. “I know you’re not afraid of death, but you care a lot about your sister. If I find out you’re up to something…”
She made a gesture of explosion, "Your sister will become a flesh bomb."
"Ok."
Lu Ze said calmly.
"Good that you understand. Be careful when you go out. Also, remember to bring the auxiliary materials when you come back. We'll help you advance tonight."
Ms. M said, standing in the foyer, gently seeing him off.
Stepping out of the house into the bright sunshine, Luze felt a heavy weight in his heart. He had to be extremely careful from now on, or Cecilia might really be in danger.

Good morning, Lu Ze!
"Blackthorn Security Company," Rosanne greeted cheerfully.
"morning."
Lu Ze forced himself to stay alert.
"You have dark circles under your eyes, are you okay?"
Rosanne noticed the fatigue on Lu Ze's face.
"I just didn't get enough rest last night," Lu Ze said with a smile.
“Oh right, you went to see a play last night,” Rosanne said enviously. “You stayed up so late, you must have had a lot of fun.”
Yeah, I'm so happy!
Lu Ze was speechless, then asked, "Where is the captain?"
"Several ghost stories have occurred in Morse Town. He, Klein, and Leonard took the sealed artifact 3-0782 there and left last night. They should be back around noon today."
Rosanne replied.
Nobody's here.
Lu Ze thought for a moment and said, "Then I'll go out and patrol around to see if there's any danger."
That's what he said, but his real intention was to buy auxiliary materials from the black market. Even though he was very reluctant, he had to endure it for Cecilia's safety.

Riding in a public carriage, Lu Ze arrived at the streets of the dock area, where the "Dragon Bar" came into view.
Even in the middle of the day, the bars in the dock area were quite deserted. The boxing rings were empty, with only a few idle men drinking themselves into oblivion. But once you passed through the door behind the bartender and entered the underground market, the scene immediately became lively.
With a cold face, Lu Ze wandered among the various vendors, buying materials one by one according to the list.
After buying the wolf's blood grass powder and viper venom, Lu Ze suddenly felt a strange fluctuation on his left side.
what?
Lu Ze looked over and saw a pale-faced young man in rough work clothes leaning against the wall of the market. He looked desperate and terrified, trembling and muttering to himself.
He had an overflowing spirituality about him. Luzer frowned, recalling what Klein had told him about an orphan in the underground market who had one foot in the extraordinary path.
"Admirsol?"
He walked over and called out the other person's name, "What are you afraid of?"
"Dead people, all dead people! There's no one alive left in Tingen! I'll die, everyone will die, she'll eat us all."
He ignored Lu Ze and kept talking to himself.
"They'll all die? Be eaten, her?"
Lu Ze frowned, sensing a dangerous undertone in Admiral's words. He shoved the man aside, saying, "Speak properly!"
Admisor was pushed by him and involuntarily looked up to meet his gaze.
"Ahhhh!"
He stared blankly at Lu Ze, then let out a terrified scream. Blood gushed from his eyes, ears, and nose simultaneously, like a uniquely shaped showerhead. He covered his face, turned, and stumbled away, not daring to stay with Lu Ze for another second!
The noise they made was so loud that nearby vendors all looked over, but Lu Ze glared at them coldly.
What's wrong with this guy? He's even more sensitive than me, a secret cultivator.
Luze frowned, got up, and chased after Admisor. He hadn't gotten the answer he wanted from the other person yet. However, just as he chased out the back door of the bar, he heard a commotion outside, as if someone was causing trouble.
As Lu Ze walked out of the bar, he saw a group of people gathered across the street, all looking up and shouting something in a jumble.
"William, don't do anything foolish!"
"By the Lord of Storms!"
Lu Ze followed their gaze upwards. On the rooftop of the two-story building surrounded by the group, a man and a woman were entangled. The man held a dagger to the neck of the terrified woman, screaming through tears:
"Shut up, all of you get out of here! She lied to me!"
The screams of women, the cries of men, and the jeering, mocking, and dissuasive voices from below created a truly chaotic scene.
Luze noticed that Swain, the owner of the Dragon Bar, was among the crowd.
"what happened?"
He walked over and asked.
"Hmph, a fool who got played by a woman." Swain's face showed a disdainful expression. It turned out that the man named William had been seduced by a streetwalker, squandered his entire fortune, and then she immediately abandoned him.
Swain yelled up, "You damn fool, get down here right now and don't disturb my business!"
Then the man upstairs cried out a few more times, essentially saying he wanted to die together with the woman.
“How annoying!”
Swain scratched his head and said to Luze, "Do me a favor and keep an eye on him here. I'll take some men up to the roof and subdue him."
"There's no need for all that trouble, just leave it to me."
Lu Ze shook his head. He slipped out of the crowd, went around to the back of the building, and banged on the clown doll. His body suddenly became light and swift. He grabbed the windowsill and other protrusions, quickly climbed to the roof, and rushed towards the man.
The man heard the clown's strange laughter. He turned around, and Lu Ze was already in front of him, throwing a punch that struck his knife-wielding hand. The man clutched his arm and screamed in pain.
The woman seized the opportunity to escape, and upon seeing Lu Ze's face, she said with infatuation, "Thank you."
"Go away!"
Lu Ze said impatiently, "Do you want me to beat you up?!"
The woman was so frightened by him that she immediately screamed and ran downstairs.
The man named William watched her leave without looking back, a look of despair in his eyes. He turned and rushed to the edge of the small building, and amidst the gasps of the crowd, he jumped off without hesitation.
