Chapter 455 An Internal Meeting Where Everyone Gathered

Chapter 455 An Internal Meeting Where Everyone Gathered
Tokyo, meeting room at the temporary headquarters of the Black Organization.

Vermouth, who had already returned to Tokyo with Calvados, sat in the center of the long table.
Unlike the codenamed members of the Black Organization on either side of the long table, she was acting as the referee and security inspector. Needless to say, the targets of her security inspection were Gin and Bourbon Whiskey.

—Yes, gin and bourbon whiskey.

She already knew a little about what happened last night.

At the time, Curaçao testified that Bourbon Whiskey was a member of the Japanese Public Security Bureau. When they were at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, they tried to stop her and prevent her from taking out the list of Black Organization undercover agents. Ireland then tricked Bourbon Whiskey into returning and prepared to execute her.

Just as Ireland was preparing to execute Bourbon whiskey, Gin returned to the conference room.
However, Gin had no interest in Ireland's execution of Bourbon Whiskey; he simply instructed Ireland, the head of the Black Organization's Tokyo branch, to prepare a plan to deal with Rye Whiskey.

The Irish, therefore, made a sarcastic remark, "Why do all the traitors like to use rye whiskey as a pacifier?"

Bourbon Whiskey explained that he was investigating traces of rye whiskey near the Mirpa municipal building and claimed to have seen rye whiskey at the scene, but it was to no avail, as Ireland was prepared to execute Bourbon Whiskey directly.

However, gin stopped Ireland, for a simple reason—

Gin was at the Mikado City Hall at the time. How could he not know whether Rye Whiskey was there or not?
Since Bourbon Whiskey stated that he was investigating the whereabouts of Rye Whiskey, and explicitly pointed out that Rye Whiskey was near the Mihana City Hall, and since the guy who impersonated him and attacked Pisco had inextricable ties to the Japanese Public Security Bureau,
At the last meeting, bourbon whiskey was clearly very close to Vermouth, with Vermouth personally vouching for it.

This guy could barely be considered a member of that big shot's faction. How could someone from the rum faction just kill him like that? If he really wanted to do it, he should investigate thoroughly first and then do it himself.

Because Ireland and Gin had a long history of grudges, emotions on both sides exploded at this point.

The Irishman questioned why Gin stopped taking action after hearing from Bourbon that Rye Whiskey was near the Mihara City Hall. There were two snipers counter-sniping near the Mihara City Hall at the time; could one of them have been Gin?
The three snipers were his subordinates, something Gin couldn't possibly have missed. If that sniper was Gin, and Gin did indeed take action against those three snipers, then it means Gin was the mole working with Bourbon Whiskey.

They simply concocted a story together in an attempt to exonerate bourbon whiskey.

Gin, enraged, claimed he was injured in a fight with Rye Whiskey and questioned why Ireland would fund Iron Man's attack on Batman, especially since it wasn't even confirmed whether Batman was the one who attacked Pisco.
This indicates that Ireland was using the organization's resources to do its own thing, but failed to achieve anything, making it an utter failure.

The two sides nearly clashed inside the headquarters building.
In the end, it was Bourbon Whiskey who mediated the dispute. He suggested that since both sides had their own version of events, Vermouth, who could represent that person, should be the judge, and he believed that Vermouth would be fair.

— Ireland and Curaçao were completely unaware of her relationship with bourbon whiskey and surprisingly did not object.

That's why Vermouth is sitting in this position.
She glanced to her left; Ireland was staring intently at Gin on her right, while Curaçao was fiddling with his five-color cards, seemingly afraid to face her directly—Curaçao was still the same as ever; she really wanted to get rid of this guy.

On the right, Gin stared dangerously at Ireland.
Vodka and bourbon sat on either side of Gin, seemingly trying to bolster his confidence, while Calvados sat opposite Vermouth, nervously looking around to prevent a conflict from erupting, as he was unable to stop it in time.

—Excellent, all the well-known codenamed members of the Black Organization in Tokyo are here.

Vermouth subconsciously ignored Gil.

Since Gil killed that traitor, that person had already granted her permission to join Gin's action group. Since Gil didn't come, it must be because Gin didn't let Gil come. There's no need to worry about the small matter of Gil not coming.

Of course, Vermouth was unaware that Gin had forgotten that Gil was a member of his task force.

Gin's action team members were mostly on the move, with no fixed identities. Gil was a complete exception, missing many missions. Because he missed so many missions, Gin simply stopped calling Gil and gradually forgot about him.

"Curaçao, are you sure the bourbon whiskey is the same person you met at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department who stopped you?"

Vermouth turned her head to look at Curaçao.
Her eyes unconsciously held a sharp glint, because she utterly loathed Curaçao. Curaçao, however, did not look up, but simply replied in a low voice, "Yes, I can't be mistaken, it's bourbon whiskey."

Upon hearing this, Ireland immediately said,

"What's there left to discuss?"

"Bourbon Whiskey is the mole, and a member of the Japanese Public Security Bureau. The situation is urgent, let's just kill Bourbon Whiskey. After that, we'll deal with Rye Whiskey, and this matter will be over!"

At this point, Ireland, a man of deep affection and a strong sense of life, emphasized the last few words and then stared intently at Gin.

He was temporarily called in to replace Pisco, and he knew nothing about the situation in Tokyo beforehand. He did not participate in the last Black Organization meeting in Tokyo, nor did Curaçao.

Therefore, they had no idea what the relationship was between Vermouth and bourbon whiskey.

"Ha, codenamed members of the organization are rare commodities. You think you can kill someone just because you have suspicion without any evidence?"

Gin, who has always advocated for arresting suspects before questioning them, is saying something quite different.

He was near the Mihana City Hall back then, and if Bourbon Whiskey saw Rye Whiskey, then he must have seen him being shot and chased by Rye Whiskey. All Bourbon Whiskey needs to do is tell him about what happened at the Mihana City Hall.

That would be difficult to handle. Killing teammates is something that should be done secretly, not openly.

Even if it were to be exposed, it would have to wait until he had taken down Ireland and ensured that Ireland posed no threat to him. Once he had dealt with Ireland and Curaçao, he would have to consider minding his own business and eliminating Bourbon Whiskey.

"That's right, that's right, Big Brother is absolutely right!"

Vodka nodded in agreement.

The atmosphere between the two sides immediately became tense,

At this moment, Bourbon Whiskey suddenly said,

"Gin, Vermouth, Ireland."

His words drew everyone's attention.

Then, Bourbon Whiskey said in a low voice,

"Killing Rye Whiskey would prove my loyalty to the organization, wouldn't it?"

“Because Rye Whiskey is a silver bullet capable of dismantling the organization, if I were an enemy of the organization, I certainly wouldn’t allow Rye Whiskey to die—can I personally kill him to prove my loyalty?”

“If you agree, then I have a great plan.”

There's one more chapter. I'll write it after I finish eating, and then I'll post it.
