Chapter 3: Kill One More Person!
The tattooed thug was unaware that Chu Sheng had already put him on the death list.

"I've returned the car, so everything should be fine now, right?" The tattooed thug, hiding under his waterproof tarpaulin, took out a compressed biscuit from his backpack and started eating.

However, judging from his expression, he was still worried about Chu Sheng.

When Chu Sheng smiled at him yesterday, he felt a chill run down his spine.

This intuition helped him escape several near-death experiences during the apocalypse.

This same intuition saved him from imprisonment before the apocalypse.

He trusts his instincts.

Eating compressed biscuits alone, he felt uneasy. He regretted stealing Chu Sheng's bicycle back then.

The tattooed thug hiding in the tent was completely unaware that the somewhat noisy sounds around him had disappeared.

When the people gathered in twos and threes nearby saw Chu Sheng carrying a pig-slaughtering knife, some immediately drew their weapons in defense, and those who were cooking stopped what they were doing and stared intently at Chu Sheng as he approached the tent of the tattooed thugs.

Chu Sheng didn't care about the gazes of these people. Instead, he walked to the front of the tent as if he were strolling in a garden, and then slipped inside under everyone's watchful eyes.

In a short while, Chu Sheng threw the tattooed thug's corpse out of the tent like a dead dog.

Chu Sheng did not go out immediately, but sat in the tent and took stock of the tattooed thug's supplies.

His tent wasn't big, just big enough for one person to sleep in, and inside the tent, besides some weeds on the ground, there was only a backpack.

Opening the backpack revealed three or four compressed biscuits, a kitchen knife, a small instant noodle pot, and a pale yellow liquid in a mineral water bottle.

"Damn poor bastard!"

Chu Sheng searched the entire tent and only found this backpack.

It's alright that there's not much food left, since we'll be reaching the next supply point soon.

But there weren't many supplies!
Chu Sheng found it hard to imagine how this guy survived the apocalypse.

There were no supplies or medicines available.

He felt he had relatively few supplies besides food, but this guy had even fewer!
The only things of any value were the gasoline in the mineral water bottle and these few compressed biscuits.

Chu Sheng put the things back and packed up the tent, and no one stopped him throughout the whole process.

Chu Sheng glanced at the people around him with his backpack, gave them a kind smile, picked up the corpse from the ground, and left.

Trash should be thrown away far away.

Chu Sheng's morals are still very high.

This incident did not delay the convoy's journey, and the convoy set off again around 9:30.

This time, however, Chu Sheng rode a bicycle, with two backpacks strapped to the back seat.

As for the father and son killed yesterday and the tattooed thug, no one in the convoy discussed it. Such incidents were not uncommon in the convoy, but they were not rare either, and people were used to them.

Most people just want to survive, following the convoy, living day to day, and as long as they don't cause any trouble, they basically act as if nothing has happened.

Around 3 p.m., rows of houses appeared in front of the convoy, and the lead car stopped.

Six months after the apocalypse, the town looked dilapidated.

From a distance, a few clumps of withered yellow grass could be seen sprouting from the cracks in the bricks, and the cement road was covered with black and red stains.

Several vehicles covered in dust could still be seen on the road, and half of the skeletons could be vaguely seen protruding from the houses.

A scene of desolation.

Hui Ge walked out and frowned as he looked at the small town in front of him.

The car behind him also stopped, and Xiao Qing, with her dyed red hair, the lecherous old man, and the young girl gathered around him. Xiao Qing asked directly, "Brother Hui, what's wrong?"

"We've found a supply point ahead of schedule!"

"This town is the supply point I was talking about that wasn't suspicious."

Upon hearing his words, the three sequence ability users surrounding him frowned simultaneously.

The lecherous old man sighed, took two cherry tomatoes out of his pocket, and handed them to the red-haired Xiaoqing and the girl. "Hey, Zhu Qing, An Xi, you two be careful."

"Right now, all I can cultivate is this kind of tomato that can stop bleeding. I can't count on the captain and me for anything else."

An Xi took the cherry tomato and put it in her mouth, saying, "I know, this time it's probably quite dangerous."

Zhu Qing also held the cherry tomato in his mouth so he could eat it anytime: "Old Li, don't worry, with me here, nothing strange can stop us!"

Upon hearing this, Hui frowned and said, "Xiao Qing, don't be too complacent, or you'll easily suffer losses."

"Oh, I know!" Zhu Qing nodded, but clearly hadn't taken it in.

The four of them huddled together, and the other survivors behind them did not make any rash moves.

Their repeated experiences have taught them that following behind those with sequence abilities during resupply missions increases their chances of survival.

Even if it's uncertain whether there's anything strange about it.

Chu Sheng watched from afar as the sequence ability users discussed the matter silently gripped the butcher knife in his hand.

He was prepared to encounter something strange as soon as he went in.

Even now, he still doesn't know how the survival points came about.

Survival is clearly not a source of survival points, nor is killing.

After all, he killed three people but didn't get a single survival point.

He guessed that he would most likely need to be on a strange creature to gain survival points.

However, he could understand that if survival points were so easy to obtain, the system might as well make him invincible.

Chu Sheng rode his bicycle, one foot on the ground, watching the sequence ability users ahead, waiting for them to make a move so he could follow closely.

Soon, under his gaze, Zhu Qing, with his red hair, spoke indistinctly as if he had something in his mouth: "I'm leaving first! An Xi, follow me!"

As he spoke, his figure instantly swelled up under everyone's gaze, transforming into a three-meter-tall little giant in the blink of an eye, and he ran towards the town at an extremely fast speed.

Behind him was a girl wearing black overalls and a black tactical vest, carrying a long gun.

The two moved quickly, rushing more than twenty meters away in the blink of an eye.

After the two of them made their move, the remaining survivors also rushed out like a swarm of bees.

"Come on!"

"Food! Drink! I'm starving!!!"

Most people chased after the two sequence ability users on foot, while a few relied on cars or motorcycles.

The moment they moved, Chu Sheng immediately rode his bicycle and charged ahead of them, just like the other vehicles.

The town is small, and the houses are mostly located along both sides of the cement road.

The bicycle was still a bit slow. By the time he rushed into the town, An Xi and Zhu Qing had already found a supermarket and rushed inside.

Chu Sheng didn't go with them; instead, he parked his bicycle at a small shop and went inside.
