The Fourth Calamity never believed in the steel torrent!

Chapter 288 This is no ordinary guerrilla force; we must strike hard!

Chapter 288 This is no ordinary guerrilla force; we must strike hard!
At this moment, in a small campsite nestled in the forest, campfires were lit one after another, and small pots were simmering thick soup.

Players weren't particularly interested in the food these guerrillas cooked, perhaps because they didn't need to eat.

They conducted experiments in the game and discovered that they could indeed eat, but eating did not have any special effects, and they did not experience hunger even if they did not eat.

This results in players having only a moderate interest in most of the food in the game, only occasionally trying some battlefield canned goods as Easter eggs.

For example, after tasting this big pot of stew, the player quickly gave the bowl of soup that had just been filled to the brim to the person next to them.

"Uh, this taste..."

After hesitating for a long time, the player still couldn't come up with a good adjective, mainly because the taste of this thing was just too strange.

Lots of butter, mixed with wild vegetables, wheat, and mushrooms dried by the villagers, along with a variety of strange seasonings and canned Black Hawk soldiers' luncheon meat that had just been captured, were chopped up and stewed together in a pot.

It would be a miracle if such a hodgepodge could taste particularly good.

Although the players refused the food offered to them, the guerrillas and the villagers behind them ate it voraciously.

"Thank you, my friends! Your generosity surpasses even that of the Goddess of Spring!"

Just then, Antonov suddenly sat down next to a player, excitedly put his arm around his shoulder, and said:

"That's wonderful! Thanks to you all, otherwise some of us would definitely have starved to death in a couple of days!"

After some prior communication, the player finally learned what was going on with these villagers.

They were originally villagers from the area, trying to evacuate their homes via the highway, but the enemy's attack was so fast that they were intercepted before they could even run.

The villagers captured by the Black Hawk Army were either executed on the spot and handed over to necromancers, or they were taken away and used as laborers.

In order to survive, they had no choice but to crawl into the woods, where they encountered some fleeing soldiers.

Because the soldiers who escaped were originally locals, and they were also the sons and daughters of these villagers, they re-established a small camp in the woods and temporarily hid there.

They dared not come out of the woods because the Black Hawk Army was out there arresting people everywhere!

They didn't know what fate awaited these captured people, but given the Black Hawk Army's previous brutality, they weren't willing to gamble with their lives!
“Alas, these days we have been surviving on hunting and gathering wild vegetables, but these things are becoming increasingly scarce.”

Antonov sighed, patted the somewhat worn rifle beside him, and said:
“A week ago, I could still catch two wild boars, but now, it’s hard to even catch a squirrel in this lousy place.”

"The same goes for wild vegetables. Almost all the wild vegetables we could pick have been picked, and there aren't many mushrooms left, many of which are poisonous."

"We don't have good conditions right now, so we can only try to find out which mushrooms are non-poisonous, and then set aside some of them to plant somewhere, since they are easy to grow and grow quickly."

The player fell silent for a moment after hearing what Antonov said.

For them, this was just a game NPC explaining their background.

But seeing the villagers' emaciated appearance and their ravenous eating habits, they seemed to understand just how difficult life was for these people in the forest.

"You damn damn Black Hawk devils!"

Finally, all the words were summed up in this one sentence, which instantly resonated with the villagers.

If it weren't for the Black Hawk Army's invasion, even though they lived in poverty, they wouldn't have reached the point where they couldn't survive at all.

However, once the players learned about the kind of life they had led in the past, they understood why these people were showing such great interest in the pot of thick soup that had been stewed until it was mushy.
"Sigh, to be honest, before the Black Hawk Down troops came, we weren't having an easy time either..."

Antonov sighed again, glanced at the player's Black Hawk uniform and relatively fair complexion, then shrugged and said:

"Young man, you seem to be living a pretty good life. Perhaps you are the personal guards of some noble lord?"

"You may not know, but the butter that you despise is something we can't afford to eat on a regular basis. The same goes for the canned food and sausages from the Black Hawk Japanese. We can only use salt as seasoning, and maybe a little onion and garlic at most."

"So you may be used to eating delicacies, so you're not used to eating this kind of food. But to be honest, we can't even afford to eat this kind of thing during holidays!"

At this point in the conversation, Antonov paused for a moment, then forced a smile and said:

"Forget about that, let's not talk about that. Let's talk about the Black Hawk devils first!"

"I imagine you're here on some secret mission. Could you tell us what you're doing? Maybe we can be of some help!"

When he said this, Antonov didn't seem to realize what a secret mission was.

However, his thoughts were simple: he just felt a little guilty for eating the food these people ate, especially since it was all good stuff.

After thinking it over, it seemed that besides contributing their strength and a few guns, there was nothing else they could do to help these people.

The players looked at each other in bewilderment. They were hoping that these NPCs would give them tasks, but instead, the NPCs were asking them what tasks they had.

"There's no specific mission. Our orders are to carry out as much sabotage as possible behind Black Hawk's lines. So, do you have any ideas?"

Upon hearing what the player said, Antonov slapped his thigh and his eyes lit up.

"You know what, we actually have an idea. We've had our eye on one of the Black Hawk Japanese's grain depots for a long time!"

"After those bad guys stole all our food, they put it all in a granary, but there are many soldiers guarding it. We tried to steal food from the granary, but we couldn't get past them at all!"

As he spoke, Antonov began to draw on the ground.

“Look, if we just sneak across this river to the stronghold next to this village, we can get around to the back of their granary, but the Black Hawk devils have patrol boats on the river.”

"If we can cross the river, we might be able to retrieve some of the grain inside!"

Antonov said this with some embarrassment, because he knew just how difficult it would be to attack this granary.

Even without considering crossing the river, he could guess that the Black Hawk Army must have many soldiers guarding the granary.

The player brought quite a few people, but it seemed rather risky for more than 30 people to attack such a granary, especially since how they would get back was another big problem.

However, players are always fearless in their actions.

Since they have a task and someone has given them a clear goal, they don't care about other minor issues!
They wandered around here for ages, but their biggest problem was that they couldn't find a suitable target to attack.

Stealing supplies from the enemy's warehouse was a risky move, and it probably won't be so easy to sneak in next time.

"Okay, it's settled then. We'll steal this granary first, and then figure out how to transport the grain over later!"

The players overwhelmingly agreed, but Antonov expressed some dissatisfaction, saying:

"It's not stealing, it's taking back what belongs to us!"

"The granary was full of all kinds of food, all of which were grains that the Black Hawk devils had stolen from us. We're taking back our own things, how can that be called stealing?"

Upon hearing this, the player quickly changed his tune, explaining that they were used to the idea of "stealing" bases because the players always talked about it.

If it were a normal guerrilla group, and they suddenly came up with such a plan, their most important task at that moment would be to first scout out the outposts.

Otherwise, how would they know the enemy's defenses? How would they know when the enemy would have gunboats patrolling the river?
However, players always act directly according to their plans, without any of these messy preludes.

To the astonishment of Antonov and the other partisans, the group armed themselves fully and then led them straight to the river.

Sitting in the truck, Antonov, slightly surprised that the Black Hawk Corps' trucks even had cushions, asked in bewilderment:
"Wait a minute, are you just going to charge straight in like this? Shouldn't we send some people to scout ahead first?"

"What if we encounter patrol boats on the river? Wouldn't that just make things worse?"

But the Frozen Pear Emperor sitting next to him simply gave a reassuring gesture with a bright smile on his face.

"Don't worry, I'll show you what we've got!"

After arriving at the riverbank in a truck, the player suddenly stopped the truck there, and then one of the players jumped into the water with a splash.

Because they saw that the enemy gunboats were already heading this way, they did not simply sail over, otherwise they would definitely be stopped by the enemy.

Upon seeing someone fall into the river, and noticing that their own truck was parked by the bridge, the patrol boat immediately headed over.

Before they even got close, they saw several soldiers jump down from the truck and wave and shout at them from a distance:

"Brothers, help us! Someone has fallen into the water!"

"What the hell! Some idiot insisted on going to the bridge to catch fish, and ended up falling right in!"

The Black Hawk soldiers on the gunboat all looked puzzled. They had a feeling that the man hadn't fallen in, but had jumped in himself.

However, they did not take this seriously.

Because the military vehicles in front of them and the soldiers shouting at them all looked like their own people, and even the language the other side was speaking to was perfectly normal.

Before they had even experienced the intense, agonizing feeling of being attacked by player guerrillas, these Black Hawk soldiers were nothing more than rookies in the fight against guerrilla warfare.

Without a second thought, they quickly moved their boat toward the bridge, and just then they saw the soldier who had fallen into the water seemingly swimming desperately toward their boat.

"That's weird. This guy is such a good swimmer, why doesn't he just swim up himself?"

Seeing that this guy wasn't swimming towards the shore but instead insisted on swimming towards their ship, some Black Hawk soldiers felt that something was wrong.

But even then, they still didn't think too much about it, or rather, their journey had been too smooth, causing them to lose their vigilance.

Upon reaching the ship, two Black Hawk soldiers quickly lent a hand and pulled the unfortunate man who had fallen into the water out of the water.

But to their astonishment, the person they had pulled up had barely come ashore, and before they could even ask a question, a flash of gleaming blade suddenly slashed down.

Because Andre's skin needs to mimic the appearance of a Black Hawk soldier, with the purpose of infiltrating behind enemy lines, there are quite a few restrictions on this Black Hawk soldier skin.

For example, they cannot freely equip elite soldier sets, nor can they choose demi-human soldiers, or even the psychic class.

It can be said that when they equip this skin, they can only choose one of the four starting classes in Battlefield 1, which only allows them to maintain a very basic, unremarkable combat ability.

However, there are some special weapons they can still equip, such as the katana, which was once very popular among players.

This thing is a close-combat god weapon. If it is a long-range charge, soldiers equipped with samurai swords will definitely be no match for trench warfare troops. But in close-range melee, this thing is simply unstoppable!
The two Black Hawk soldiers who had just pulled the player out of the water were cut down on the spot by a katana before they even knew what was going on. At this moment, the player seemed to have turned into the Dark Souls Firelinker, wielding melee weapons with incredible skill.

There were only five Black Hawk soldiers on the gunboat. The attack was so sudden that they were all cut down before they could even raise their guns.

After hacking them all down, the player casually kicked their corpses into the water and then leisurely steered the gunboat over.

"Done! Successfully resolved, and we even managed to steal a gunboat along the way!"

"Very good. Leave a few men here to guard the river and kill any enemies you see. The rest of you, continue with us to attack the granary!"

Emperor Frozen Pear nodded, casually picked a few newbies who weren't very good at stealth combat to board the ship, and then led the other players back to the truck.

Antonov witnessed the whole thing, and at this moment his expression became extremely exaggerated, his mouth wide open as if he could swallow an egg whole!
"By the goddess of spring, what just happened?"

"My God, how did that guy do that?"

It was because he had fought against Black Hawk soldiers in previous battles, and even engaged in close combat with them, that he knew how difficult it was to deal with these Black Hawk devils in close combat.

Strictly speaking, Black Hawk soldiers are not particularly good at close combat, but they are well-fed and the soldiers are selected from the best of the best, so their physical condition is generally better than that of the sallow-faced and emaciated Cambrian soldiers.

In addition, they have received relatively rigorous military training and have a fanatical morale, so even if they can lure the enemy into hand-to-hand combat, it is difficult for them to gain the upper hand.

Not to mention that Black Hawk soldiers often use submachine guns to clear trenches during hand-to-hand combat, showing no regard for martial ethics.

According to his estimate, even if both sides used melee weapons, it would probably take two Cambrian soldiers to fight together to achieve a draw against a Black Hawk soldier.

There was no way around it; they were naturally afraid of the Black Hawk soldiers, and their physical abilities couldn't compare to these guys, so naturally they were terrible at fighting.

That's why he was immediately awestruck when he saw the swordsman who killed five enemy soldiers in three seconds!
For such a ruthless character, he couldn't think of any other word besides "chosen by God."

"Little brother, don't be nervous, it's just a normal operation."

"Look, we've taken care of the patrol boats on the river, haven't we?"

Before long, they successfully passed through a checkpoint ahead and arrived near the granary in the distance.

They encountered some trouble a little while passing through, since their vehicle was packed full of soldiers.

Even if the other side's sentry isn't paying much attention, they should be able to tell that something seems off, right?

However, before their sentries could raise the alarm, a player used a silenced rifle to take them out.

Even with a suppressor, the sound of a rifle won't be that quiet; it's impossible for it to be completely silent.

But at the very least, this sound wouldn't travel too far, and it couldn't possibly startle all the Black Hawk soldiers around them like a normal rifle shot.

"Hey buddy, what's this thing? How come it makes less noise when you stick it in the barrel?"

"A silencer, it's a pretty useless piece of equipment. I wouldn't normally even use one of these!"

The player offered a casual explanation and then continued driving towards the distant granary.

As for when the sentry's body will be discovered?
That's none of their business. At worst, if they get discovered, they can just fight their way out!
Antonov was completely bewildered by the players' actions. He felt that this raid on the granary was completely different from what he had imagined.

His plan was for them to deceive the enemy's numerous checkpoints along the way as much as possible.

Immediately afterwards, they either dug tunnels or tried to sneak in, taking as much grain as possible with them and leaving.

But judging from the soldiers' posture, they were clearly prepared to charge straight in, they weren't even putting on an act anymore!

Antonov felt a jolt of fear, but at the same time he also felt a strange sense of excitement.

It must be said that the combat skills of these soldiers were extremely elite; they were stronger than any Cambrian soldiers I had ever seen.

The thought of being able to infiltrate such a team and join them in brutally killing the Black Hawk devils filled him with a sudden surge of excitement!
The player parked the car to the side, jumped out, and then, under Antonov's calm gaze, launched a fierce attack on the distant grain warehouse.

The team's sharpshooter killed the soldier on the watchtower with two quick shots. A heavy machine gun hidden in the shadows tried to fire in their direction, but was taken out first by a player using a mortar. Wait a minute, where did they get these mortars from?
Antonov was a little confused. How come he hadn't noticed that these people had been carrying mortars?
But he couldn't worry about that now. He and several other guerrillas mingled among the players, their minds completely blank except for charging forward headfirst.

Around them, players fired their guns continuously, creating a dense barrage of fire that was like a platoon firing the firepower of a battalion!
"Hey bro, want to save some bullets? Do you guys have enough?"

"Don't worry, we have enough bullets. There's no need to worry about such a small problem!"

Upon hearing this, Antonov looked at his comrade beside him, who had gone berserk and was firing a light machine gun at the front. He opened his mouth, but ultimately gave up arguing.

He was incredibly envious of the statement that there were plenty of bullets available!

The unit he joined was a temporary supplementary force, and on average, each soldier was only allocated 20 rounds of ammunition.

The most troublesome thing is that this average is different from the actual situation. In reality, most bullets have to be concentrated on the machine gun, and they can only get five bullets.

Even so, their machine gunners had to be as frugal as possible; it was the first time he had ever seen machine gunners squander bullets like this!
Of course, this was also the first time he had ever seen such a powerful and unparalleled person who could carry a water-cooled machine gun and shoot while running!
This sudden attack completely stunned the Black Hawk soldiers stationed at the grain depot.

They only had one platoon stationed here, and before they could figure out what was happening, more than half of their soldiers were wiped out by this intense firepower.

Other Black Hawk soldiers raised their guns to return fire, but they often only had time to fire one shot, or even less, before being riddled with bullets by the sudden burst of fire.

Upon seeing this, the surviving Black Hawk soldiers quickly retreated towards the granary while running, intending to use the terrain inside the granary to launch a counterattack from within.

Otherwise, if they stay in the open, they will be vulnerable to enemy machine guns and mortars.

"Stop firing! Stop right there!"

Seeing the enemy retreat into the granary, Emperor Frozen Pear quickly kicked the mortar soldier next to him.

This guy got all fired up and even considered using white phosphorus incendiary bombs!
Is this thing designed to bombard grain silos?
When the time comes, one blast will burn their entire granary to ashes!
"What should we do? They've taken refuge indoors; they're probably planning to use their familiarity with the terrain to launch a counterattack..."

Antonov saw the enemy retreat into the granary and said with some anxiety, but when he turned around, he found that the players had already run towards the granary.

These guys don't care at all that the enemy is hiding in a corner and might launch an attack!

Are they overconfident, or do they have enough ability to defeat the enemy?

An enemy was lying at the window, trying to snipe the player with a rifle, but the scout player hiding behind him shot him first.

He was equipped with an 8x scope, and his teammates were calling out enemy positions on the minimap. If he still couldn't spot the enemy in advance, he would be incredibly incompetent.

The other players did the same. They used the minimap to see exactly where the other party was hiding in the granary, and then they showed what it means to be utterly uncivilized!

Several Black Hawk soldiers gripped their rifles somewhat nervously, hiding behind a corner.

If nothing unexpected happens, the enemy will likely take this corridor when they storm into the granary, as it is their only route.

Just as they were raising their rifles, preparing to attack passing players, the wall to their side suddenly exploded!
One player planted an explosive charge on the wall to their side. The explosive charge sent debris flying everywhere and the violent impact sent the Black Hawk soldiers flying several meters.

They were dizzy and disoriented, and before they could figure out what was happening, they heard footsteps approaching.

The next moment, bayonets were plunged into their bodies, delivering the final blow.

The other Black Hawk soldiers hiding in the shadows were also blasted away by the player using all sorts of insane heavy firepower.

If the enemy is hiding behind a wall, then just set up an AT gun and shoot through the wall.

If they're hiding around the corner, throw a few grenades over there; that'll make sure they're gone on the spot!

Some players even charged forward again with samurai swords, enduring the submachine gun fire of two Black Hawk soldiers, and killed them on the spot at point-blank range.

After the two Black Hawk soldiers were killed, the player's health instantly returned to full, and he was fully recovered.

"I'm asking you, which unit did you belong to before? Why do you like using these kinds of military knives so much?"

Antonov couldn't help but ask the Frozen Pear Emperor.

He was truly shocked by his teammates who were using samurai swords. He really wanted to ask them what kind of swords they were and why they looked so good.
"I already told you, we are Vorontsov's troops. This thing is a special souvenir from our operation on Iwo Jima. It's just an Easter egg."

Easter egg?

Easter eggs?

He didn't quite understand, and didn't understand what the connection was between this strange knife and the Easter egg.
Not long after, some players suddenly heard that the swords of those who used samurai swords had inexplicably acquired the name of an Easter egg sword.

This is why they, the players who use samurai swords, were inexplicably called the "Egg Knife Team" by other Cambrian soldiers, which made them somewhat uneasy.

Goodness, this game even has Warcraft Easter eggs?

After easily dealing with the garrison soldiers, the player quickly ordered his men to move the grain, and also captured two military vehicles in the process.

They couldn't possibly take all the grain from this entire granary, but they were prepared to take as much as they could, just moving it as quickly as possible.

Bringing this grain back home will bring a great deal of credit.

It would be such a waste to just leave it here.

Just as the players were acting as porters, moving grain at breakneck speed, the Black Hawk Army received news that their granaries had been attacked.

First, the sentry who was supposed to report on time failed to do so, which made the command headquarters vaguely realize that something was wrong.

Immediately following was the roar of gunfire, which immediately revealed the players' location.

If the Black Hawk soldiers still didn't realize they were under attack after hearing such a commotion, they would truly be failing in their military discipline.

So soon, two infantry companies of Black Hawk soldiers rushed over here.

Just in case, they even brought two mortars as heavy weapons!

As Antonov moved the grain, he said to the player with a hint of anxiety:
"Guys, I'm telling you, shouldn't we get going?"

"The enemy can't possibly be unaware of the commotion we've caused here!"

Upon hearing this, Emperor Frozen Pear simply waved his hand dismissively, signaling several players to go outside and guard the area, before continuing to move the grain on his own.

What can we do if the enemy comes?

Come on over, the food here is the most important thing!
Just then, the enemy arrived, allowing them to kill more enemy soldiers and earn more merit points.

If the enemy is really that ferocious, sending a large number of people at once, then they won't need to carry food supplies—they can earn countless air force bonuses simply by killing the enemy!

Several players ran outside the warehouse to defend themselves. It was unclear whether they hadn't planned to conceal themselves in the first place, or whether they were overly confident in their skin disguise.
In any case, they directly replaced the Black Hawk soldiers on the watchtower, and also captured an enemy heavy machine gun position.

Black Hawk soldiers who arrived from afar quickly disembarked outside the granary and rapidly formed combat formations.

A major was looking through binoculars at the Black Hawk soldiers on the watchtower.

"That's strange, has this place been attacked? They don't seem like they are!"

But as soon as he finished speaking, a captain next to him frowned and said:

"Sir, I think those soldiers are suspicious. They're probably not one of us!"

"There's a lot of gunfire here. If they hadn't been attacked, or if they had already dealt with the invading enemy, they should have called headquarters immediately. Why would they just stand here like idiots?"

"They might be the attackers, but they stole our soldiers' uniforms and are pretending to be one of us!"

Upon hearing this, the major angrily cursed:
"Damn it, they deserve to die! When did these guerrillas become so arrogant?"

"Mortars, get them set up right now! Blow up their watchtowers!"

The artillerymen at the rear were rapidly assembling mortars, while at the same time, several marksmen were preparing to snipe the players on the watchtower.

But then they suddenly noticed that the players on the watchtower seemed to have discovered something, and then those guys pulled something out from behind them.

In the next instant, a muffled thud came from afar, and a mortar shell struck first, slamming into their ranks.

The sudden explosion startled the Black Hawk soldiers. A mortar was hit, and the mortar mount, along with the soldiers who were assembling it, was blown away, enraging their major.

"Damn it, these aren't guerrillas! They even have mortars!"

"Damn it, this is no ordinary guerrilla force; we have to strike hard!"

"Fire immediately to suppress the enemy's firepower, then let our soldiers charge!"

In the short time that followed, another mortar was also successfully assembled.

Because of the enemy's sharpshooters, the players' mortars failed to achieve their goal again, and some players were even accidentally headshot by the enemy.

Just then, mortar shells from the Black Hawk Army also came flying in.

Players who were just gloating over securing a machine gun emplacement turned around to find mortar shells raining down on their heads.

"Damn it! I knew fixed machine gun positions were unreliable!"

The player couldn't help but roar as he was blown away.

Upon seeing the heavy machine gun ship destroyed, the Black Hawk soldiers assumed the enemy had run out of heavy firepower, so they launched a charge while taking turns providing cover.

However, a player who was hiding somewhere suddenly set up a water-cooled machine gun and began firing at them.

Although the MG0818 machine gun used by the player is nominally a light machine gun, it doesn't look like a light machine gun at all, whether it's the fact that it weighs a full 50 kilograms with the bipod or the 80-round drum magazine it uses.

Who calls such a clumsy water-cooled machine gun, which uses bullets no different from a heavy machine gun, a light machine gun?
Unfortunately, this weapon is classified as a light machine gun for players.

This means that players can carry this thing and move around as fast as they can, shooting as they run!

The machine gun fire from the side instantly wiped out a group of Black Hawk soldiers charging forward, with seven soldiers being eliminated by the player in just two seconds.

The other Black Hawk soldiers quickly turned around, trying to find the damned machine gunner, but the machine gun fire from the other side caused them to suffer heavy casualties again.

The crossfire from the two machine guns suppressed the Black Hawk soldiers, preventing them from raising their heads.

Meanwhile, mortars, seemingly appearing out of nowhere, began bombarding the artillery behind the Black Hawk troops once again.

The major in charge of command gritted his teeth. He suddenly realized that he was not facing any so-called guerrillas at all!
These guys are dressed in Black Hawk soldier uniforms, but their firepower is far greater than that of the regular Black Hawk troops!
Only a few people showed up, and then two machine guns and a cannon appeared. This configuration is definitely not that of an ordinary guerrilla team. What guerrilla team can be this fierce?

But just as he was thinking, an anti-tank bullet suddenly came flying at him.

The highly penetrating armor-piercing bullet pierced through the vehicle in front of him and penetrated his chest.

Until his death, he looked at the other side with an incredulous expression, never expecting that even though he had hidden here, he could still be killed by the other side's armor-piercing bullet!

The player, who had just removed the Black Hawk skin and transformed into a Tank Hunter, revealed a cold smile.

You think you can hide 800 meters away and still be unhit?
Have you ever heard of a sniper who can shoot from 800 meters away?
Gunfire erupted outside, the relentless machine gun fire pinning down the Black Hawk soldiers, but inside the granary, Antonov felt a growing tension.

"Dude, shouldn't we retreat? With such heavy fire outside, do you think we can even break through?"

"Don't worry, just relax. This is nothing, it's a small matter!"

"Frozen Pear Emperor said without looking up as he carried the grain," he said.

Now both resurrection flags are set up in front, and the support soldiers with strong firepower and the scouts who are good at long-range sniping have all run outside to meet the enemy.

Some players even removed their skins and used the Elite Soldier Set. With all these factors combined, what can't they stop?
If they can't even stop them like this, then it can only mean that the Black Hawk Army outside is a bit too aggressive!
Clearly, the Black Hawk troops outside weren't nearly as formidable; their last mortar was destroyed by a player's mortar during the exchange of fire.

By this time, even their commander was dead, both cannons were destroyed, and dozens of soldiers had died, with the number continuing to rise at an alarming rate.

In this situation, their adjutant quickly took over command and immediately issued the order to retreat.

"Retreat immediately, that's enough! We need to call in armored support; these guys can only be dealt with by armored forces!"

Upon hearing the order to retreat from their superior, the remaining Black Hawk soldiers felt as if they had been granted a pardon and quickly retreated while providing cover for each other.

They originally wanted to bring back their comrades who were seriously wounded but not yet dead, but the firepower from the players' side was too fierce. Even if some of them rushed up, they would only end up being sent to their deaths.

With no other option, they had to abandon the wounded here and flee in a state of utter disarray.

Some soldiers tried to drive the vehicle away, but the tank hunters in the distance took them all down with a single shot.

Just kidding, without these trucks, how will they transport the grain?
Having finally become the head of the transport team, how could he possibly stand by and watch the enemy drive these precious trucks back?

Unable to drive, the Black Hawk soldiers had no choice but to retreat as infantry.

After they left, the players drove their vehicles in and continued transporting the grain.

They were almost done moving when the other party delivered six trucks. If they didn't fill all the trucks, it would be a disservice to the generous gift from their friend!

Located in the Black Hawk headquarters, the Black Hawk commander was furious when he learned of the rampant guerrilla activity in the area.

"Damn it, they've really gone too far! What kind of guerrilla force are they?"

"A heavy blow is necessary! Send me an armored reconnaissance company! I refuse to believe we can't take them down!"

Upon hearing that their commander was willing to deploy an armored reconnaissance company to deal with these arrogant bandits, the other officers breathed a sigh of relief and nodded repeatedly.

Their armored reconnaissance company had more than a dozen armored vehicles, and even two Peacekeeper mechs and various types of small-caliber artillery.

With such a force, they were able to chase down an entire Cambrian Empire regiment across the plains. These so-called guerrillas would never be able to survive!
Soon, the order to mobilize an armored reconnaissance company was relayed to another unit at the front. Upon receiving this order, this unit prepared to cross the river.

There was no other way, since they had been stationed on the opposite bank of the river, after all, they had originally planned to advance further.

Little did they know that the patrol gunboats on the river had already been captured by the players.
