Chapter 302 Are you kidding me? You want us to fight Titans with this thing?
"Marshal, is there a problem with the Empire's Resurrection Legion?"

After Marshal Schweigen hung up the phone, the Northern Army Chief of Staff, Salt, asked.

"Sigh, I can only say that we seem to have overestimated the Resurrection Legion..."

Field Marshal Schweigen sighed heavily, and then began to explain the problem of the Resurrected Legion.

Judging from the reactions at the front, these resurrected legions are performing well in all aspects, but the only problem is that they seem to be showing strong war-weariness.

To be precise, most of the soldiers' souls were unwilling to continue living in the body of a ghoul, believing that living in this form was not true living.

Many soldiers, driven by their insatiable appetite and thirst for flesh, were forced to become cannibalistic monsters on the battlefield. After they had devoured the corpses around them, a deep sense of guilt naturally arose.

"...That's right. As a result, many soldiers on the front lines showed strong war-weariness, and some Resurrection Legion soldiers even pulled out their guns and committed suicide, which I never expected!"

Thinking of the soldiers' condition, Field Marshal Schweigen's face showed a hint of pity.

It must be said that he also had an overly optimistic vision of the Empire's resurrection technology.

He thought the empire could use this method to gain a group of immortal veterans, a group of excellent warriors with rich combat experience and extremely difficult to kill.

In his view, these soldiers who died on the battlefield were given a chance to be reborn, and they should be grateful to the empire. Why should they not be willing to continue to be loyal to the empire?
But he never expected that the Empire's resurrection legion would be resurrected in this way. To be honest, he felt that living in this state was worse than being dead.

"Marshal, in that case, what should we do next? Should we first provide psychological counseling to the remaining Resurrection Legion soldiers?"

Chief of Staff Salt asked, knowing full well what would happen after such widespread and intense resistance emerged among the frontline soldiers.

It's no exaggeration to say that if the Imperial soldiers continue like this, they will mutini very soon!
The emotions of these resurrected legion soldiers can even be contagious to other soldiers, making them unwilling to continue serving the Empire after death!

"...Psychological counseling is definitely too late. The Empire doesn't have the energy or the talent to provide them with long-term psychological counseling."

Field Marshal Schweigen shook his head. If they wanted to provide psychological counseling to them, who knows how many experienced people they would have to send.

Most importantly, even he himself felt that the Resurrected Legion was truly anti-human. To be honest, he didn't think that sending a group of people to give them some psychological counseling would make them accept this reality.

Psychological counseling isn't a magic bullet. The shit is already laid out in front of these people. Do you think they'll eat it if someone by the side gives them a few words of advice?
"Let's withdraw all our Resurrected Legions from the front lines first. We need to make a complete overhaul of them!"

As the marshal spoke, he began making phone calls to the rear.

"I need to get those necromancers to come up with a better plan. We can't let these soldiers keep fighting like this, or they'll eventually become a huge threat to the empire!"

As the Marshal reported the news from the front to the rear, and with the Emperor's personal approval, all the Resurrected Legions were immediately recalled to their bases in Warsanne.

The Empire built a massive necromancy factory in Auschwitz, which housed the largest number of necromancers in the entire Empire, and also gathered the largest number of evil geniuses in the Empire.

Faced with this situation, the marshal believed that those geniuses would definitely be able to find a solution; otherwise, what was the point of the empire spending so much money to support them?
Upon learning that they would be able to retreat immediately, and might even no longer have to participate in the war, the soldiers of the Resurrected Legion cheered and almost everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Things had come to this point, and apart from a very few war-crazed individuals with mental instability, the other soldiers and officers of the Resurrected Legion were truly unwilling to continue fighting.

The physical sensations tormented their minds, and the act of eating human flesh made them feel filled with sin.

Therefore, in their view, if the empire could release them and let them rest in peace, it seemed like a good option.

Although the Resurrection Legion has withdrawn, the positions that were captured on the front lines are still firmly in the hands of the Black Hawk Army.

Although Andrei had sent a group of cavalry players to provide support, it was clear that these cavalry players could only handle a small part of the area and could not help the Cambrian army recapture the entire front line.

In the previous fierce offensive, the Cambrian Empire had a total of three divisions and two independent brigades decimated, and the entire Petrograd Front also suffered heavy losses.

Of course, General Constantine could not simply let the enemy take his position. He sent out his last remaining airship force to bomb the front line for cover, while also borrowing a batch of air force units from Andrei.

Immediately afterwards, under the cover of this series of air force units, he risked driving his only Tsar Cannon to the front-line railway and then launched a fierce bombardment of the front lines.

The Tsar Cannon fired a total of ten shells at the front line, but those ten shells completely destroyed the Black Hawk Army's defenses, forcing them to withdraw from the area.

However, at the same time, because General Constantine's forces were extremely scarce, the new batch of reserves had not yet been trained, and a large number of veterans had been defeated again, this area temporarily became a vacuum between the two sides.

Neither side's army seemed to be able to gain a foothold here.

"...Hahaha, Andrei, thank you so much for sending these men!"

Hearing the old man's thanks on the phone, Andrei smiled and said:
"No need to be polite. We're glad we can help. To be honest, the enemy on Volkhov's side hasn't made any big moves, and my troops are practically sitting idle. I wouldn't mind sending a small number of troops to support you."

Since Andrei said so, General Constantine was equally blunt.

"Alright, in that case, I'll contact you again if I need anything. Right now, my main concern is the air force support you have!"

Recalling the previous battle, General Constantine's face showed a hint of pain.

In order to cover the Tsar Cannon, his airship force suffered heavy losses again.

It was also thanks to them that they captured the manufacturing method of the Black Hawk Empire's energy core, and incidentally they also managed to create the Black Hawk Empire's shield.

Although the energy cores they created were enormous and far from being compressible, at least their airships finally had void shields.

If it weren't for this, their airship force would probably have been completely wiped out.

Even though the large airships were protected by the Void Shield, they still lost the vast majority of their smaller airships.

Aside from the Void Shield, the Black Hawk Army's air defense capabilities and air combat prowess far surpass those of the Cambrian Empire.

Despite the Cambrian Empire's past boasting about its troops in various parades and military exercises, the gap became immediately apparent when they actually fought against the enemy's elite forces.

After hanging up the phone, Andrei started writing missions for the Air Force players again.

I have to say, the Air Force is really useful!
"By the way, Andreosha, I heard that Uncle Constantine seems to have successfully copied a batch of airplanes?"

Yelena watched Andrei write with some fascination and casually asked him a question.

Although Andrei had already deactivated his imperial aura, Yelena still blushed slightly when facing him, perhaps because of the deep psychological impression he had left on her.

"Oh, that? Don't worry about it. It was just a crude attempt and didn't have much practical significance!"

Hearing Yelena say this, Andrei recalled some gadgets that General Constantine had previously had made.

It must be said that war is truly a catalyst for technological development!

Although the Cambrian Empire's military industrial capabilities cannot compare to those of the Black Hawk Empire, they can still easily replicate the outer shell of an aircraft.

They couldn't figure out the engine in a short time, but by imitating the shell of a biplane, they created a rather crudely made glider.

This device is towed by an airship, and at critical moments, the tow rope is cut to detach the glider from the airship, thus enabling independent operations within a small area.

Andrei didn't understand the specific principles either. In any case, based on the current test results, it was impossible to use this thing for air combat, but it could be used for airborne operations.

The Cambrian Empire lacked the capability to develop such advanced rocket drop pods, but using gliders as drop pods was a viable alternative.

A glider can carry three powered armored soldiers. In a critical moment, the glider can be crashed to release the powered armored soldiers, allowing them to achieve a rapid breakthrough in a small area.

It is said that General Constantine's side seemed to have achieved good results with this tactic, but it was quickly pushed back by the enemy's resurrected army.

For this reason, Andrei didn't care much about it. He would study locally produced aircraft in Cambriania once he had figured out the aircraft engine.

"It seems the Black Hawk Command has concentrated its forces in Petrograd. It looks like they're not planning to bother with me for the time being!"

As Andrei spoke, he drew a line on the map, a cold smile playing on his lips.

"Heh, since that's the case, it's time for my men to take the initiative!"

He had already made preparations to conquer several surrounding factories and fortify them, thus forming a series of satellite fortresses to defend Volkhov.

However, because the player had been busy building his base and waging various guerrilla wars in other places, he temporarily postponed his plans.

However, now that most players have almost finished setting up their bases, it's time for him to launch a new operation.

First, based on the statistical data from the system, Andrei directly released the results of the base area construction in the recent period.

Based on the rankings above, Andre distributed guild points to each of the guilds under his command, and also awarded a series of merits to guild members, thus fulfilling the rewards he had promised.

In addition to this, Andrei also prepared extra rewards for the top-ranked guilds.

All players in the top ten guilds automatically unlocked the new special class – Zealot.

This unit's template is largely based on the Dark Tide game. Although they cannot use most of the equipment from Warhammer, they have brought over some talents and skills.

For example, this unit has a health value far exceeding that of ordinary infantry, as well as a higher movement speed. It can throw incendiary grenades, stun grenades, and throwing knives, and can be equipped with flamethrowers and various melee weapons.

Most importantly, they possess aura-type skills—they can reduce the damage taken by nearby allies and increase the damage of nearby allies. In other words, their bullets might be more lethal.

To be honest, in Andrei's opinion, their aura bonus for players is only average.

Players are inherently very survivable; even if they are killed, they can revive. As for the player's bullets, if they hit an enemy, even if they don't kill the enemy on the spot, it's enough to render them incapable of fighting.

In comparison, these fanatics provide a better boost to local allies—they can give local allies a fanatical effect, unleashing amazing morale at crucial moments.

For Andrei, this job was practically the same as being a political commissar.
Honestly, the role of political commissar is what Andrei most longed for in this profession!
The Cambrian Empire at that time did not have a political commissar as a military branch, and its soldiers lacked ideology and conviction in battle.

To put it bluntly, they were only fighting for the Tsar and the noble lords, not for themselves. After the war, they were back to their old ways and naturally lost their convictions.

But if these fanatics could help them build a belief, the battle would be a completely different story.

Recalling the brutal meat grinder between the Soviet and German armies during World War II, if such a war had been waged by the British, French, and American armies, they would have collapsed long ago. Why were the Soviets able to withstand it?
It is because they have faith and belief that inspire them.

"But then again, if they were to establish a faith, would they worship the emperor or someone else?"

As he was distributing the reward, Andrei suddenly realized a crucial problem.

However, after thinking for a moment, he ultimately just shook his head.

Given the current state of the Cambrian Empire, having just one faith is enough; what that faith is is actually unimportant.

To put it bluntly, if the Cambrian Empire were to actually believe in the Emperor, it might actually be a good thing!

When even more outrageous things pop up in the future, and they even have to fight demons, Andrei simply can't imagine how they would fight these abstract characters without the Emperor or anything protecting them.

This world is just ridiculously chaotic. Who knows how this godforsaken place could turn World War II into a war for the unification of Terra?
The top ten guilds all receive fanatics as a reward, and the top five guilds naturally receive additional rewards.

After some research, Andrei released an additional new skin for them: Cardian Assault Force.

Regarding this skin, Andrei provided two templates: one for infantry and one for tanks. If the T34 series tanks are equipped with this skin, their appearance will change to Leman Rustank.

While the T34 tank is quite distinctive, it must be said that the Leman Rustank looks better, at least it looks more intimidating, and with this skin, the tank's movement speed is also increased by 10%.

However, even with the new skin, this thing's main gun still has the firepower of an 85mm gun and won't suddenly become the main gun of the Lemanrus.

This thing, like the rifles of the Krieg soldiers and the molten lances used by the Krieg cavalry, was nothing more than a facade.

As for the infantry bonuses, Andrei referenced the never-fallen characteristic of the Qadian and added a special squad mode for them:

Five players can form a squad. Even if no one in the squad has a flag or there is no respawn point nearby, as long as one squad member respawns and is out of combat, the other squad members can quickly deploy around him.

With this skill, players can become more flexible in their combat style, and the Black Hawk Army will face greater difficulties when dealing with guerrilla warfare.

As for the top three guilds, Andrei gave them an extra reward: they each unlocked three special equipment items ahead of time.

The third-ranked guild successfully unlocked the rocket mine-clearing device that is additionally suspended on the outside of the tank—although this thing cannot be launched as a rocket and has a very short range, it is an armor killer at close range!
The second-ranked guild successfully unlocked the Sturmtiger tank—a heavy assault gun equipped with a 380mm mortar.

Despite its very abstract appearance, if you disregard issues like mechanical malfunctions and production volume, this thing is still quite formidable on the battlefield.

In other words, this behemoth, which was hailed as an abstract weapon during World War II, will become extremely powerful in the hands of players!
As for the number one ranked guild, this time the number one ranked guild is a guild named "Glory of the Smurf Village". It has to be said that they really live up to their name as the Smurf Village, their farming ability is really strong!
They successfully built the largest, most well-equipped, and most populous base, thus naturally winning first place.

Their reward is also the Sturmtiger tank, but Andrei has added an extra skin for this Sturmtiger – the Defender Assault Gun.

This thing is also a heavy assault gun in Warhammer 40k, and its design is basically the 40k version of the Assault Tiger.

Andrei uses the Defender version design, which is the one known as the Avenger in World of Tanks Blitz, the Defender Assault Gun version from the 30k Rebellion era, because this version of the Defender looks most like the Sturmtiger.

This skin's bonus effect is that it increases the blast radius of the shells fired by the Strike Tiger by an additional 10%, making it quite useful on the battlefield.

After distributing all the rewards, Andrei immediately began deploying combat operations. The troops stationed at the warehouse fortress, under Andrei's orders, launched a counterattack against the enemy, aiming to draw their attention and simultaneously tie down a portion of their rear forces.

Meanwhile, the remaining army, composed of players and a large number of ordinary Cambrian soldiers, launched an attack on several heavy factories in the suburbs and outskirts of the city under Andrei's orders.

"Haha, this is really tough! We're back with another large-scale offensive mission!"

"Hehehe, our guild got the Sturmtiger, any bros want to give it a try? Test drive price is negotiable!"

When Andre saw the player's chat history, a black line appeared on his forehead.

It has to be said that these players have a really sharp business mind; some players have already started thinking about renting out their own vehicles.

Just as Andrei was about to complain, Katyusha suddenly strode in, looking excited, and asked:
"Andreosha, is my Titan Legion ready to go into battle now?"

“That’s right, this war requires the participation of the Winter’s Wrath Titan Legion. Your mission is to take my two super tanks and flatten all the enemy fortresses along the way as quickly as possible!”

As Andrei spoke, he pointed out the target of the attack on the map.

"The factory buildings are not important; what is important is the production lines inside. The enemy has now fortified the buildings surrounding these factories. If we launch a direct attack, we will inevitably suffer heavy losses."

"So this time I've prepared a special assault force, and our Titans will also be involved in this war. Your mission is to destroy all these fortified structures!"

Andrei had no intention of risking his soldiers' lives to force his way in. To be honest, although these buildings were well-defended, they were not something he took seriously.

He plans to let the players slowly build up the defenses of this place. As for now, in order to finish the battle quickly, he plans to use Assault Tigers and Titans to flatten the buildings that are in his way!

"Alright, no problem, don't worry! My Titan promises you won't be disappointed!"

Katyusha patted her almost nonexistent chest and said confidently.

She couldn't wait to pilot her newly modified Titan out and wreak havoc. She was especially eager to see how the addition of a pair of giant scythe-like mechanical arms would enhance its ability to demolish buildings.
To be honest, it wasn't just Katyusha who wanted to see the destructive effects of her newly modified Titan.

For Andrei, he was more interested in seeing his modified Skull Master and studying what kind of abilities this completely transformed P1000 giant rat could unleash.
When he arrived at the Titan encampment, Andrei happened to see the Lord of the Skull rumble out.

However, when he saw the tank in its current state, he really couldn't hold back anymore.

"Holy crap, is this guy really going to turn this thing into a Khorne Demon Engine?"

Andrei was stunned when he saw the huge chariot painted bright red and covered with the symbol of the chaotic eight-pointed star and skull patterns.

How did the players manage to do that?
Do they really have a master sculptor who actually stuck a Khoner symbol on the top of this thing?
It must be said that when a large enough number of players come together, they always produce talents that amaze Andrei.

This thing that's half tank and half mecha really surprised Andrei; the level of accuracy is just too high!
"General, is this our war machine? It's absolutely amazing!"

Just as Andrei was somewhat lost in thought, a young officer suddenly ran over and asked him with great enthusiasm.

Seeing this officer who was about his age, Andrei smiled and said:
"That's right, this is the Empire's war machine, a mech named Lord of the Skull!"

"It's not just the Black Hawk Empire that possesses a powerful war machine; we do too. I believe we will definitely win this war!"

It has to be said that people always seem to have an inexplicable fascination with these giant humanoid robots.

When the P1000 giant rat, the Arrogant Fortress, and the Skull Lord drove up together, the surrounding soldiers immediately erupted in cheers and shouts of fervor.

But Andrei noticed that these soldiers were almost all cheering for the Lord of the Skull.

As for the Arrogant Fortress, which also looked very powerful in the rear, it received far less cheers.

Andrei was surprised by this phenomenon. The Arrogant Fortress was clearly a very strong fighting force, wasn't it?
If we consider firepower output, without taking into account melee combat, the Arrogant Fortress clearly has stronger firepower output!
With a puzzled look on his face, Andrei approached a soldier and casually asked:

"Dude, I don't understand. Don't you think the Arrogant Fortress tank is pretty cool too?"

The soldier didn't even notice the general standing behind him; he just kept cheering and saying without turning his head:

"Indeed, but I still think the Skull Master looks the coolest. That's what a super tank should look like in my mind!"

Well, Gundam is definitely more eye-catching.

However, looking at the massive skull, Andrei was still worried that the thing was unstable, even though a giant cannon was mounted on its back.

Compared to the original Skull Lord, this vehicle does not have such a large fuel tank; its fuel tanks are all inside the vehicle body.

So the places where fuel tanks should have been placed were naturally filled with artillery, and even four sets of Katyusha rocket launchers were placed there, filling up all the places where artillery could be placed.

Besides that, Andrei didn't know how the players managed to do it; they even managed to remove the turrets of two T34 tanks and attach them to the shoulders of the Skull Lord.

To be honest, Andrei could hardly bear to look at this thing; he really couldn't imagine what its combat mode was like.

The army advanced all the way, their primary target this time being the Volkhov aluminum plant.

It's unclear whether it's because the aluminum plant's location in this world is different from its location during World War II, or because the Black Hawk Down's breakthroughs are deeper in this world.

In Andrei's memory, the aluminum plant should not have fallen during World War II, and it had been continuously supplying large quantities of aluminum to the Soviet army.

However, when they arrived, the factory had already been captured and controlled by the Black Hawk Army.

He didn't know whether the production lines inside the factory were intact or had been destroyed by the enemy, but the factory had indeed been transformed into a heavy fortress by the enemy.

Because this place is closest to Volkhov, it naturally became their primary point of contention.

Located nearby, Black Hawk patrolmen on routine patrols were the first to spot the enemy's presence.

When the cavalrymen were far away, they saw the towering Skull Lord charging towards them from a distance, and they were all stunned.

"Damn it, the enemy has launched an attack! Quickly get this message back to the rear!"

Several cavalrymen took off from a great distance, and even though some players spotted them, they ultimately failed to catch up.

When the cavalrymen were nearly exhausted from running and their horses were nearly dead, they finally managed to escape back to the factory and then relayed the news to their commander.

"What? The enemy's Titan Legion is coming for us!"

Upon hearing this news, all the Black Hawk troops hiding in the factory were devastated, feeling as if the sky had fallen.

Good heavens, they originally thought that there wouldn't be any fierce fighting since they were stationed here!
Most Black Hawk soldiers did not believe that the small number of enemy troops in Volkhov were capable of launching a counterattack, not even Andrei's army.

Because of this, many of them believe that their purpose in coming here to stay is actually to have a vacation.

But when they actually heard that an entire Titan army was rushing towards them, these guys were all stunned.

The call was immediately made to the rear, where the lieutenant colonel in charge of guarding the factory anxiously reported, requesting that troops be dispatched to provide support as soon as possible.

What made him feel cold and desperate was that when he made the call, there seemed to be a heated discussion on the other end.

But a few minutes later, the voice that answered him on the phone was:
"Okay, we understand. Reinforcements will arrive. Your next task is to hold the line with all your might and destroy the factory if necessary!"

Damn it! Reinforcements will arrive, but they didn't say exactly when!

To put it bluntly, isn't that just saying there won't be any reinforcements coming?
If this lieutenant colonel were a newbie who had just joined the army, he might have been fooled by these words. But he had been in the Black Hawk Army for so long, how could he not know what the subtext of these words meant?
But there was nothing he could do. Even though he knew there probably wouldn't be any reinforcements coming, he couldn't tell the other soldiers.

Because the command's reply did indeed state that reinforcements would be coming. If he dared to say that there would be no reinforcements, then he was lying about the military situation.

If he dares to release this information, even if he survives the war, he will be court-martialed and executed, and his family may also be implicated.

Thinking of this, he quickly put his talent for deception to good use, summoned all the Black Hawk soldiers stationed in the factory, and then deceived them one by one.

"...In short, soldiers, I need you to use your brains and do everything in your power to use this factory to hold off the enemy!"

"I know the enemy's Titan legion is terrifying, but Titans aren't omnipotent. In this complex terrain, the massive Titan mechs are nothing more than clumsy sitting ducks!"

Really? Sir, do you dare look us in the eye when you say that?
Seeing the disbelieving looks on the soldiers' faces, the lieutenant colonel shook his head, knowing that his attempt to fool them had most likely failed.

"Lieutenant Colonel Stark, can we really stop the enemy's Titan army with our cannons and the buildings here?"

An officer couldn't hold back any longer and, after the soldiers had dispersed, stepped forward and asked in a low voice.

Lieutenant Colonel Stark rolled his eyes and said irritably:
"You're asking me? Who am I supposed to ask? What can we do if we can't hold out? Are we supposed to abandon this place and run away?"

"Don't think too much about it. Let's quickly deploy some mines and bombs in advance to inflict some losses on the Cambrian soldiers. I believe they won't directly attack our factory. They should be very concerned about the production line here."

That's true.

Indeed, Andrei didn't care much about the buildings in the factory, but he did care a lot about the production lines.

Putting aside the question of how important aluminum refining is, the fact that Andrei's armored units require factories with heavy production lines to recruit them forces him to protect those production lines.

It's no exaggeration to say that even if the factory were razed to the ground, as long as they could seize the production line here, they would have won.

But if the production line is destroyed, then their war will be meaningless. After all, isn't it easy to find a building that can serve as a fortress?
If there's really no space, can't players build their own fortresses?

"Attention all units, we are about to enter enemy territory!"

"The Winter Queen calls upon the Pride Fortress and the Lord of the Skull, to immediately unleash your rocket launchers to bombard the front and clear out the enemy's outer defenses!"

Inside a Thunder Titan, Katyusha, as the commander of the Titan Legion, is issuing orders to other Titan units via radio.

The Titan she was on was named Winter Queen, and at this moment, she sat on the mechanical throne, looking down at the front like an empress sitting on a throne.

As the Thunder Titan strode heavily, leaving deep craters in the ground, slowly making its way towards the factory's perimeter, the Black Hawk soldiers hiding inside couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat.

"By the Emperor, what the hell is this? Can we really stop this with our bare flesh and blood?"

Good heavens, is the Empire really using them like superheroes?

Many Black Hawk soldiers couldn't help but curse, feeling that leaving them here to defend was a huge mistake.

However, that's not entirely true. At the beginning, Volkhov's army group had only a small number of troops, and not even many heavy weapons. Their combined armament was less than that of a normal full-strength infantry division.

If they relied on the terrain to defend against such an army, they could easily defeat it.

But who could have imagined that a Titan Legion would suddenly appear in this wretched place?
To be honest, if it weren't for the fact that Andrei was General Constantine's son, even if the general knew that deploying the Titan Legion here would actually give it more advantages, he wouldn't have let the Titans out.

Such a formidable force naturally needs to be deployed in major core cities to boost morale and provide reassurance.

"Damn it! Let's just fire a couple of shots and leave. Are we really going to use this piece of junk to fight the mechanical behemoths outside?"

A Black Hawk soldier patted the 75mm anti-tank gun hidden in the bunker and cautiously spoke to the other soldiers.

They fired a couple of shots despite the pressure, which was considered doing right by the emperor.

Otherwise, would anyone really expect to use this thing to penetrate the thick armor on the front of the Titan? That armor is battleship-level defense!
The other soldiers nodded in agreement, finding the words to be reasonable.

But just then, they suddenly heard a strange whistling sound coming from the sky.

The whistling sound was much louder than the shrieking sound of a regular artillery shell cutting through the sky, and when they looked up at the sky, they saw a meteor shower formed by multiple rockets firing simultaneously.

As a large number of rockets traced a beautiful parabola and fell toward their position, extreme terror appeared in the eyes of all the Black Hawk soldiers.

"Do not--!"

Amidst screams, the rocket slammed into their position, the explosion sending flames and shrapnel flying everywhere, tearing apart the bodies of soldiers one by one.

When the smoke cleared, the Black Hawk soldiers on the position were horrified to discover that they had lost nearly half of their men due to the previous shelling!

The enemy's shelling came without warning, and their outer positions were so rudimentary that they were simply no match for such a terrible attack!
The remaining Black Hawk soldiers turned and left without hesitation.

The two anti-tank guns on their position had been blown to bits, with the barrels bent so crookedly, how could they possibly fire them now?
If they don't run now, they might not be able to escape!

Just as they were about to retreat, the Skull Lord, who had somehow moved to the front of the column, had already aimed the giant cannon on his left arm at them.

With a deafening roar, the short-barreled 305mm cannon, salvaged from the Cambrian Titan, fired a heavy shell in the direction they were retreating.

The massive explosion quickly generated a shockwave that swept outwards, creating a huge crater in the ground. Flying debris pierced the bodies of nearby soldiers, and many more died instantly from the overpressure.

When several Black Hawk soldiers with severe tinnitus got up from the ground, they were horrified to see that the troops they had retreated from earlier had been buried in the huge crater.

Just minutes before, his companions were chatting and laughing with him, but now they couldn't even piece together a complete corpse!
