Chapter 126: Wounded

Chapter 126: Wounded

The Quidditch season has begun. There's Quidditch everywhere.

The first Quidditch match is on Saturday, with Gryffindor playing against Slytherin.

If Gryffindor wins, they will move up to second place in the College Cup Championship.

Conversely, the level of interest surrounding Gryffindor and Slytherin is incredibly high.

Upon entering the auditorium, Sheen heard someone say:

“I’m sure Harry is up to something! Every time the Gryffindor Quidditch team has practice, Harry disappears without fail, rain or shine. I suspect—”

At the Gryffindor table, the words of this Gryffindor aroused the curiosity of the young wizards.

Everyone craned their necks to look, and Harry, who was eating not far from Sheen, felt a chill run down his spine.

"He must have gone to retrieve the ball!"

His words immediately drew a chorus of boos from the surrounding young wizards. Harry Potter, the boy who survived so many calamities, why would he go to retrieve a ball?

Later, the discussion turned to Harry's skill level—wasn't it obvious that he was on the team?

Some people told him he would play great, while others told him they would have to hold up a mattress and run after him to prevent him from falling—Harry didn't know which was worse.

Just at this time.

Ron got into another argument:

“I told you, Sheen only needs a simple levitation spell to defeat the troll!”

"Come on, Weasley. Of course I believe... Sheen can do it, but I don't believe a word you say. Remember? Your levitation spell isn't even as good as mine!"

Theodore, hearing Ron retelling his oft-repeated story, couldn't help but scoff.
"I bet you don't even know how to make a feather spin, let alone the advanced Silent Levitation Spell..."

His response was met with a flushed Ron and a rat that was growing larger and larger. Ron pounced on him. Before Theodore could figure out what was happening, Ron leaped over him and threw him to the ground.

"I added twenty points to the academy's score! And you just finished your solitary confinement!"

Ron roared.

Later, this incident left Ron feeling uneasy, and he would often hesitate to speak when Sheen passed by him.

Will he accept us?

Compared to before, Ron seemed much less confident.

“What Sheen said…”

Harry wasn't sure either. No one in the first year was unaware of Sheen, but similarly, apart from Hermione and her two friends, no one really knew Sheen.

Regarding what kind of person he was, people could only say, "Ah, excellent, humble..."

They could list a hundred good qualities, but when it came to what kind of wizard Sheen was specifically, even Harry could only think, "He's a very good person." Beyond that? Nothing more.

Little did they know that Harry and Ron's excessive attention to Sheen, or rather, the entire Gryffindor Quidditch team's furtive interest in Sheen, attracted the attention of a clever and beautiful Ravenclaw.

"Have you figured out what happened, Roger?"

At the Ravenclaw table, she watched Sheen leave and asked this question.

hall.

Sheehan, wrapped in a thick scarf, was walking out of the Great Hall, with Hermione and Justin beside him.

Since the troll incident, Hermione has suddenly developed an unknown fear of Hogwarts School, which manifests in her spending almost the entire day in Hope Cottage.

Occasionally, the three of them would take advantage of the break between classes to go outside into the cold courtyard... just like now.

Hermione just conjured up a handful of bright blue flames for them with magic, which she now carries in a jam jar.

As she opened the jam jar, Sheen's wand swung in a strange rhythm, and soon they saw a blue salamander dart out of the jar.

When Hermione closed the lid, it would chuckle and then melt the lid off, running into the jar. Hermione strongly suspected that Sheehan was behind it, so she puffed out her cheeks and looked at Sheehan.

"not me."

Sheen said.

Hermione believed it instantly. She looked at the salamander curiously, and the salamander burped and breathed out a ball of blue flame that almost burned Hermione's eyebrows.

Hermione was so angry that she chased after it with her wand.

Justin was taking pictures nearby. When he took out the photos, he noticed that Sheen was in the same pose in every picture, sitting quietly reading a book.

His transformation of objects into "magic" progressed extremely quickly.

It was incredibly fast, but when he compared it with Professor McGonagall's progress in his notes, he realized that it wasn't actually that fast.

He only reached Professor McGonagall's third-year level in his first year.

The study of Transfiguration is endless, extending beyond the transformation of objects into "magical" forms.

Advanced Transfiguration also includes the transformation of "magic" into objects.

And the transformation from "self" to "living thing," and from "living thing" to "living thing."

The difference between the two is that one transforms itself, for example, Krum turns his head into a shark;
One can transform into another, for example, the fake Moody can turn Malfoy into a weasel.

These are all advanced techniques, and there is still a lot for Sheen to learn.

Even when it comes to object-oriented "magic," he only possesses a fire lizard. Recently, he's been considering whether he could transform flames into a fire dragon.
Later, he thought that since Fiendfire could transform into the appearance of living beings, could Fiendfire be considered a kind of dark magic that incorporated the concept of transfiguration?
Is the reason why Fiendfire can devour everything because it is imbued with advanced polymorph magic—the Vanishing Charm?
After all, the field of Transfiguration involves techniques that combine multiple Transfiguration techniques.

Professor McGonagall once said that what disappears is: "to become nothingness, that is, to become all things."

Think about it, Fiendfire is a very difficult spell to control. Wizards who are not skilled enough often fail to control it and, without knowing how to break it, end up harming themselves and causing unnecessary damage. Only powerful wizards can control it precisely.

Consider the "living things" created by transfiguration: wizards who lack the ability often lose control of their spells and harm themselves, causing unnecessary damage.

Just as Sheen was pondering this, Hermione returned in a huff. She had just realized why she was angry with a magical fire lizard!
As she thought about it, she laughed at her own behavior.

Just then, Snape walked across the yard. Justin immediately noticed that Professor Snape was walking with a limp.

He nudged Sheen, knowing that Sheen had been practicing potions in the cellar.

Sheen looked over.

Professor Snape was limping toward Harry and Meghan at that moment. He seemed to be looking for a reason to scold them, no matter what.

"What are you holding, Potter?"

"It's Quidditch."

Harry showed it to him.

"Books from the library are not allowed to be taken out of the school,"

Professor Snape said,

"Give it to me. Gryffindor lost five points."

"He made up a rule on the spot."

Harry watched Snape limp away and muttered resentfully.
"I wonder what happened to his leg?"

"I don't know, but I hope he's in a lot of pain."

Ron said gleefully.
