Chapter 179: Shop at 93 Diagon Alley

"Have mice in your house? No problem—try these civet cookies! Turn your child into a mousetrap!"

Want to experience that floating sensation? Owl cookies are only 7 sachets a pack, no kidding!

"Always sleeping in? Ha! You've come to the right shop, Rooster Cookies. Your wife will become your punctual alarm clock."

Although the content sounds very far-fetched, wizards seem to buy into it, and many people line up to buy it every day.

In addition, many of the prank props here are very popular, so it's not hard to imagine how booming the business will be in the future. No wonder the Weasleys have money to hire people to help sell them.

Snowflakes fell once again on Sheen's head beneath the unopened shop at 93 Diagon Alley.

Minerva McGonagall's lips tightened into a stern line, her eyes filled with a deep sense of disappointment. They were too late; they hadn't even seen what the unopened shop was selling.

“Perhaps we can come a little earlier tomorrow, Mr. Green.”

she comforted.

Sheen vaguely sensed that the professor had misunderstood something, but then he heard the witch behind him scream:
“Mr. Green! Merlin—you’ve finally arrived, please come in quickly.”

As Sheen turned his head, the very approachable witch was walking over with delight.

She looked at Professor McGonagall:
“Professor McGonagall, it is an honor to meet you. Oh—Mr. Grimm, I am Emily Gert, the acting manager of Weasley & Grimm’s Wizarding Tricks.”

The scattered wizards all stopped in their tracks, watching as the shopkeeper led Sheen into the shop without a word.

"Green? Who's that?"

"That name sounds familiar..."

"Of course it sounds familiar, you idiot, didn't you hear it? Weasley and Grimm's Wizarding Tricks."

Compared to their confusion and surprise.

Professor McGonagall was completely stunned, listening to the conversation between the two wizards, one big and one small, with some bewilderment.

Despite being several heads shorter than the acting store manager, Xien's relationship was more like that of a superior to a subordinate, or rather, it was very likely a superior to a subordinate.

The shop seems to be mostly finished with renovations. It has several sections, each filled with magical items.

For example, the magic item display area sells magic items with practical functions, such as headless hats, fake wands, and edible dark magic marks.

The wide variety of candies available in the candy section offers candies with special effects, such as tongue toffee.

There's also a fireworks section with a chimney belching smoke: Weasley Swoosh-Boom fireworks are their signature product, available in basic and deluxe versions, with the deluxe version even costing 15 Galleons.

Of course, at the very front are the Animal Party Cookies series, which are now standing in front of this empty shop window.

"Oh—Mr. Green, the Animal Party Cookies are sold out! What a surprise to see you here!"
"You'd better replenish some quickly, or those wizards outside might eat me alive!"

Acting store manager Emily Gert was very anxious.

Life is always full of surprises, just like how Sheen never expected that his stock of transforming cookies would be taken by the store manager who appeared out of nowhere.

"The Freds approached me to be the acting store manager. Although I am a Hufflepuff, I am very interested in these novel alchemical gadgets... especially candy and animal party cookies."

Mr. Freds paid me a lot of Galleons in advance and gave me a very high commission. Oh, thank you so much, Mr. Freds, this is a fantastic job!

Emily Gert replenished the cookies, then, no longer in a hurry, spoke respectfully with Sheehan about other topics.

"Oh right, the ledgers are all here..."

She pulled open a wooden cabinet protected by magic, inside which were many slips of paper and parchment for recording. Sheen was stunned when she picked up the parchment—December 30th, earnings of 101 gold gallons and 10 shiko.

Wait a minute... how much is this?
"We haven't even opened yet, but this number will double once we do!"

When Emily Gert gave her report, her face, adorned with light freckles, was brimming with pride.

As Professor McGonagall emerged from the Weasley & Green Trick Room, she could no longer suppress the smile on her face.

Sheehan's eyes went unfocused. He was thinking that it was no wonder that Weasley's Trick Rooms later had more than sixty branches. Alchemy, like potions, was a highly profitable industry in the magical world.

Especially with the Weasleys' marketing and publicity prowess being just as strong, they've already made a name for themselves this Christmas with their Animal Party Cookies line.

Sheen knew he was an angel investor, but he didn't expect the returns to be so quick...

He wouldn't participate in any of the store's decisions, as he and Weasley had agreed. However, he did receive a full fifty-one percent of the total revenue.

This is what the Weasleys said:
"With this, I offer my highest respect to the great Green! Weasley will always stand by you—never!"

……

In the narrow alley of Diagon Alley, Sheen and Professor McGonagall, emerging from the back door, were in completely different states.

Sheehan was wondering if he had suddenly become rich, while Professor McGonagall was filled with deep joy and a hint of barely perceptible loss.

He never gives anyone cause for worry, which is good, but not so good either.

“A very good idea. The Weasleys found you, didn’t they?”

"The professor asked."

Sheen nodded and took a magic contract out of his bag.

The professor was even more pleased; she was always proud of him.

An incredibly fat owl flew away from the Ee-la Owl Shop, while at the nearby Tuofan Clothing Shop, Professor had styled Sheen to look... extremely aristocratic.

The deep black robe was adorned with strands of silver thread, the hem deliberately lifted. The collar was pristine white and crisp, the silver threads converging into intricate patterns, drawing attention unconsciously to a pair of deep, bright green eyes.

Overall, it is profound, sharp, and elegant.

Then, as if remembering something, Professor McGonagall stuffed Sheehan into the Transcendental Clothing Store.

After a while, the professor led Sheen, who was now wearing a silver-striped hat, out of Diagon Alley.

……

Marcus McGonagall and his family lived on a farm not far from London. It was not easy for a wizard to live in Muggle society with magical abilities, so they lived in a remote and secluded place.

until--

"Green, come here, little Green! I need to give you a big hug—"

A male wizard, about fifty years old, was standing in front of the fountain of a small villa, accompanied by two wizards in their thirties.

The area is surrounded by beech trees, and the owner, Marcus McGonagall, was particularly excited.

Sheen soon witnessed firsthand what the farmer's enthusiasm was like.
