Chapter 183: The New Seamless Expansion Bag

Chapter 183: The New Seamless Expansion Bag
The prosperity of Diagon Alley will not change because of Sheen's poverty, but the prosperity of Diagon Alley can change Sheen's poverty.

Shop at 93 Diagon Alley.

"Please take these Gallons with you; the magic ledger will record it. Oh, and if you want to see your shopkeeper witch here again next time, instead of shopkeeper cookies, remember to finish making them on time."

The owl will come looking for you.

Upon seeing Sheen, Manager Gert's smiling face paused slightly, but the smile returned after he saw the cookie box in Sheen's hand.

She accepted the Animal Party cookies respectfully and then saw Sheehan out the back door.

Why not the front door?

Because that area is already blocked.

Various robed wizards chatted noisily, and all sorts of animals jumped around, leaving no space at all.

While accessing Galon, Sheen discovered a problem—he no longer had a seamless expansion pouch.

Therefore, he could only hold a very small amount of Galleons, less than one-tenth of his current revenue.

At this moment, Professor McGonagall was still in the off-the-shelf clothing store, talking with the meticulously combed blonde witch.

The owner of the ready-made clothing store was a very eloquent witch who often brought a gentle smile to the professor's face.

Diagon Alley was still bustling with people when Sheehan heard a low, soft whistling sound coming from a dimly lit shop. He looked up and saw a sign that read: Eeyra Owl Shop – Grey Wood Owl, Howling Horn Owl, Grass Owl, Brown Owl, Snow Owl.

As Sheen walked by, several boys of similar age pressed their noses against the glass of the next shop, where flying brooms were displayed.

“Look!”

Sheen heard a boy say,

"That's the new Lightcycle 2000—its top speed—"

So Sheen passed by a shop selling secondhand robes, as well as a shop selling telescopes and all sorts of strange silverware.

Its display window was filled with baskets of bat spleens and eel eyeballs, piled high with spellbooks, quill pens, rolls of parchment, medicine bottles, moon globes...

“Marcus wants me to ask you if you have time to go back to…the family after the summer vacation starts.”

Outside the store, Professor McGonagall held Sheehan's hand and asked softly.

Sheen remembered the three little wheat grouse rolling around in a ball at the door.

While the wind howled outside, the Mages would gather around the warm fire, eating sweet roasted sweet potatoes, waiting to catch Sarah, who had turned into a cat.

Marcus and Professor McGonagall watched them with interest, then glanced out the window at the falling snow and took a sip of their long-brewed mate tea.

In winter, people are never distant.

The fluttering snowflakes pulled time back to the present. Looking at the gloves and key in his hand, Sheen nodded silently.

So Sheehan and the professor returned to Hogwarts together.

The surface of Black Lake is still frozen, and in the vast white expanse, wizards always have snowball fights.

When Sheen returned to Hope Hut, he found a bag with an emerald pendant in his purse.

He saw the note inside run to his hand and unfold:

You are no longer alone, child.

The fire burned brightly and for a long time, until Sheen took out a shiny broom.

— Nimbus 2000.

Imbuing an object with magical abilities is within the realm of low-level alchemy. Even after so many generations of evolution, flying brooms haven't escaped this framework, but now, Shin wants to imbue the brooms with a certain will.

If brooms could find their way automatically, perhaps I could free my hands.

So the time for practice passed quickly, and in just one day, Sheen's plan yielded results.

After all, the method of imbuing it with will is still the same as the Wizard's Chess method. Since he could sense the magical structure inside the flying broom, Sheen simply added the Transfiguration part to it.

It is worth mentioning that the flying broom has a strict security mechanism inside, which seems to be a confusion spell, making it impossible for ordinary wizards to perceive the truth clearly.

Outside Hogwarts Castle, Sheen sensed the newly added spells within the broom—the Pathfinding Charm, the Disillusionment Charm, the Silence Charm, and a degree of Will to Escape…

Without hesitation, Sheen mounted the broom.

The panel doesn't show any warnings, which means there's still a problem with the broom, but where is it?

Sheen soon found out, because just as he passed the castle, Headless Nick shouted:
"A headless...Sheen Green?!"

Imagining the illusion spell malfunctioning and a head flying in the sky, Sheen quickly modified the rune set.

[You practiced making a leisurely broom to the standards of an apprentice; proficiency +1]

The "Leisurely Broom" was the name Sheen gave to the improved broom. Incidentally, he wrote to Manager Gert asking him to send him a worn-out broom so he could use the unassuming broom to practice his skill.

The panel has also undergone many changes at this point:

【Lady Lorris Cookies: Expert Level (10/900)】

【Owl Cookies: Beginner Level (10/300)】

【Reindeer Cookies: Beginner Level (1/300)】

[Intermediate Wizard Chess: Apprentice Level (29/30)]

[Intermediate Level - Leisurely Broom: Apprentice Level (1/30)]

[Three intermediate-level alchemical creations at the expert level, and six beginner-level alchemical creations, can unlock the expert-level title in the field of alchemy]

For the rest of the time, Sheen focused intently on crafting two mid-level alchemical creations.

He rode his broom through the auditorium unnoticed; the Disillusionment Charm and the Whispering Charm concealed his presence perfectly.

But the auditorium was unusually noisy.

Ever since the strange Wizard's Chess appeared, young wizards have become fascinated by these unpredictable and infuriating pieces.

No one knows whether they will fight bravely or betray them in the next moment.

But gradually, everyone came to understand the personality traits of each chess piece.

Take, for example, the knight Ral Schneider. He's a hero, and if you make him back down, he feels his life's creed crumbling, and then he does all sorts of strange things. Like inexplicably falling in love with the queen (who might be the one on the other side), or thinking he ate too much yesterday and then not moving at all.

Take King Henry, for example. He's a lecherous man; if you blindfold him, he won't do a series of things; or if you're a pretty little witch, his fighting spirit will be ignited. But be careful of the Queen, his queen Anna, who possesses a very high moral will; if she discovers the king's various misdeeds, she will kill him.

Overall, the chessboard is still the same chessboard, but with the addition of strong personal styles, the young wizards find the battles incredibly enjoyable.

Sheen watched for a while as the young wizards discussed tactics based on the characteristics of the chess pieces...

Will this actually produce a few great military strategists...?

This idea inexplicably popped into his mind.
