Chapter 259: The Rescue Plan

Chapter 259: The Rescue Plan

Harry wiped his eyes, feeling a lump in his throat.

Hedwig was chirping in her cage, while Harry heard Aunt Petunia's clattering as she went up the stairs.

He quickly put the letter into his pocket.

Dudley was unharmed. Aunt Penny knew he hadn't actually cast a spell, but she still swung a soapy frying pan at him, which he luckily dodged.

Then she made him do chores, and he wasn't allowed to eat until he finished.

Harry cleaned the windows, washed the car, mowed the lawn, tidied the flowerbeds, pruned and watered the roses, and repainted the garden benches. The sun was blazing, making the back of Harry's neck feel hot.

But he didn't show any resentment. In his bag was a blank sheet of paper, a bridge connecting him to the magical world.

This was his hope, and with hope, life became bearable.

He waited a little longer until he had some free time, then he wrote back to Sheen.

he said to himself.

However, one question lingered in his mind: since everyone was sending him letters, why hadn't he received any?
He soon found out why.

Harry finally finished all his punishments and was writing letters in his cramped, dimly lit cubicle.

Suddenly, a small monster appeared before him.

The little monster had two large, bat-like ears and a pair of protruding green eyes as big as tennis balls.

It stared blankly at the white paper in Harry's hand, as if it were staring at something heinous.

The handwriting on the letter, “I can’t do my homework here, nor can I practice Quidditch skills,” was particularly clear.

"Harry Potter cannot leave here, much less return to Hogwarts. The most terrifying thing will happen at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year."

The little monster let out a shrill cry, and suddenly it trembled all over.
"Harry Potter can't take risks. He doesn't know how important he is!"

Harry had no idea what it was talking about; he only saw it lunge at him to snatch his letter.

Harry wasn't about to let it succeed. Despite his fear, he bravely began to struggle against it. Eventually, they both managed to grab a corner of the letter, and with each effort, the letter began to strain under its weight.

"No, don't do that."

Harry pleaded.

“Dobby has no choice but to do this, sir, it’s for Harry Potter’s good.”

The little monster actually spoke, and it seemed to give Harry a sorrowful look.

The next second, the letter ripped in two with a "rip".

Harry stared blankly at the torn letters, frantically trying to piece them back together, but it was clearly futile.

The little monster was gone, leaving only Hali clutching the torn letter.

Rain began to fall on Privet Drive. It came silently, and Harry was initially unaware of it, only noticing that the air became heavy and something cool appeared on his face and hands.

The next moment, a turning point appeared; it was so sudden, just like the rain.

Harry felt something constantly touching his forehead. When he looked up, he saw another paper airplane, which quickly unfolded into a blank sheet of paper.
To Harry:

You haven't replied for a long time; perhaps something else has happened.

Don't worry, I'll be there.

—Sheen Green

Harry hung his head, and Dobby outside the door heard a hoarse, whimpering cry coming from inside, like that of a wounded puppy.

So it snapped its fingers, then appeared in a tree outside and started banging its head against the tree.

This is Diagon Alley at this time.

Not long after Sheen launched his second paper airplane, a group of young wizards had already gathered in Diagon Alley.

"Sheen, you've arrived."

Seeing the familiar figure appear in the fireplace, the young wizards all breathed a long sigh of relief.

"Sheen, do you know what happened to Harry?"

Ron spoke up anxiously.

"do not know."

Everyone was startled. They looked left and right, but couldn't figure out who was speaking.

"It's me." After a two-second pause, everyone finally connected the mature voice with Sheen.

"what is this?"

For a moment, Ron forgot about Harry and turned his curiosity to Sheehan's brooch.

"That's not important for now, Ron!"

Hermione reminded her irritably.

"Oh, right—"

Ron realized what was happening.

"Harry must be in some trouble. Don't worry, I'll handle it."

Sheen let the brooch speak while preparing to leave.

The paper airplane's delivery mission would not fail—Terra had cast a very special spell on it, so the most likely reason Harry didn't reply was that his letter was intercepted while he was writing it.

Perhaps it was the Dursleys who stopped Harry, or perhaps it was Dobby...

Having considered all this, Sheen decided to leave Diagon Alley and then make his way to 4 Privet Drive. Before that, he would make some preparations in Diagon Alley to deal with any possible situations.

After all, he signed a law prohibiting the use of magic, and rescuing Harry would be somewhat difficult without magic.

But there are only a few left. The traces can detect the energy fluctuations of spells and record the time and place of casting, but Sheen can do so without using spells.

Not all magic resides in the wizard's wand.

For example, the flying car Ron used to rescue Harry, and some simple alchemical creations.

"Are you going to go by yourself?"

In a secluded alleyway of Diagon Alley, Hermione suddenly spoke.

"Ah."

The brooch returned naturally.

"I can help!"

Ron responded loudly.

"It's highly unlikely we can help..."

Sheen quickly closed the brooch and headed towards the magic shop as if nothing had happened.

"Such blunt words..."

Ron blushed.

“Harry lives with his aunt, just like us, where magic is not allowed.”

Justin explained that he already understood what was going on.

"But Harry lives in London, so maybe I can help."

Justin seemed to be implying something.

Sheehan shook his head. In fact, it was a complicated matter, involving not only the Dursleys' problem but also a house-elf.

In the end, Sheen came to the Magic Workshop alone. The twins had prepared a room there as a place to make magical items, which Sheen took advantage of.

It started raining in Diagon Alley, the raindrops pattering on the eaves, creating mushroom-shaped patterns.

Manager Gert was still busy, and when she secretly peeked into the cubicle, Sheen had already left.

Only a figure riding a broom streaks across the distant sky.

at the same time,

No. 4, Ligustrum Road.

This time, Harry covered his head with the blankets and wrote a reply to Sheen by the light of a dim lamp.

He needed to let Sheen know there was a monster here and warn him to be careful.

Even with such caution, problems still arose.

Just as he was about to release the paper airplane, a pair of large eyes on the hedge flashed with fear. Dobby, standing on the tree, snapped his fingers, and Harry's lamp mysteriously floated away and landed on Dudley's foot.

Screams erupted in the restaurant as Uncle Vernon rushed in and found Harry holding a paper airplane that was actually floating in the air.
