Chapter 302: Permit for the Forbidden Book Zone
Chapter 302: Permit for the Forbidden Book Zone
"Then you won't apologize—"
Pikachu pinched her face, making the little witch leave in tears.
Sheen silently waved his wand, and at least the little witch's hat floated back.
"T-Thank you."
The little witch cried her eyes out.
"Excuse me."
Sheen said.
He stared at it for a while, then began to doubt whether asking Pikachu for help was the right decision.
early morning.
Sunlight streamed onto the castle's spires, and Hogwarts was rapidly awakening.
The Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom became noisy again as the young wizards chattered as they entered.
Since the disaster involving the little elves, Lockhart has never brought any living creatures into the classroom again.
Now, he reads long passages from his books to his students, and sometimes even performs dramatic scenes.
He chose Sheen, but was rejected.
Currently, he usually chooses Harry to help him recreate the scene.
So far, Harry has been forced to play the roles of: a simple Transylvanian villager who was healed by Lockhart after being cursed with a bubble-blowing charm; and a vampire who, ever since Lockhart dealt with him, eats nothing but carrots.
In this Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Harry was dragged to the front again, this time to play a werewolf.
During Harry's performance, Ron's face turned as red as a carrot, and Hermione helplessly reminded him:
"Ron, Harry is already in a lot of pain."
"Okay, look, Harry's about to howl like a wolf."
Ron said, trying not to laugh.
Hermione's face immediately tightened, and a faint smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.
Harry was gritting his teeth on the podium.
He was initially reluctant to cooperate, but Justin suddenly told him that there was a very important reason why Lockhart needed to be kept in a good mood.
“Well said, Harry! So true! And then, believe it or not, I pounced on him and, like this, slammed him to the ground.”
Then, I pinned him to the ground with one hand and held my wand against his throat with the other—then I took a breath and used the remaining strength to cast a very complicated Restoration Charm.
He let out a pitiful groan—Harry, then cried out—higher still—good!
Hermione finally couldn't hold back her laughter.
Ron was also grinning foolishly.
Neville was still reading his "Standard Spells," next to Sheehan's notes.
Harry's torment is finally over.
The bell rang, and Lockhart stood up.
"Homework: Write a poem about my victory over the Vaga Vaga werewolf! The best poems will win several copies of 'Me, the Magical One,' all signed by the author!"
At that moment, Sheen knew his opportunity had arrived.
He quietly moved closer, only to discover an unexpected figure there.
“Professor Lockhart,”
Justin said naturally,
"I'd like to borrow this book from the library. You know, your book covers such a wealth of knowledge."
“My dear Mr. Finley, my fan, of course!”
Lockhart took the note from Justin while giving him a very warm smile.
“You, Mr. Green, and Miss Hermione are all good children who got perfect scores—I'll give you another one, this one—”
He signed his name in a large, cursive script on the slip of paper, and then signed the book "Wandering with Ghouls".
When Justin closed the book, Sheehan saw a strip of paper with the Disillusionment Charm cast on it, which had just been released and was now visible.
Sheehan glanced at Justin, and the others quickly and discreetly left. "I can't believe it,"
Harry said,
"You're here for this permit? Is this a restricted book section?"
Justin nodded gently, then placed the note in Sheehan's hand.
"He didn't even look at it..."
Harry was still reflecting.
"Because he's a brainless idiot."
Ron said he knew why Sheen had gotten a perfect score.
The group parted ways here; Harry was off to training, Neville was recently obsessed with spells... Hermione, however, came along.
The approval for the restricted book zone didn't surprise anyone.
If Hogwarts were hiring a librarian for the restricted section, Sheehan would be the first to sign up... oh no, he doesn't need to sign up; he does it almost every day.
He could often be seen opening the library doors with Mrs. Pins.
"I accidentally saw the approval form... I'm glad I could help."
Justin held up the book, "Walking with Ghouls," and said.
"Yes, you've been a great help."
Sheen replied.
Justin was taken aback.
Hermione stared longingly at the approval slip, but then thought that perhaps Sheehan's matter was much more important than reading the book.
Unexpectedly, Justin opened the book "Walking with Ghouls" at this moment, and inside was a rubbing of paper with layers of paper strips underneath.
"Just take it off and stick it back on. With this, we can explore the mysteries of Hogwarts' library anytime."
Justin handed Hermione a note, and the little witch stared at it wide-eyed, stunned for a moment.
……
The golden sunlight streamed past the window again; the good weather after a rainy night always makes us cherish it all the more.
The Quidditch team members were training in strong winds, torrential rain, and mud, but at least they'll be cleaner now.
Harry didn't want the magic mirror to yell every time he entered the hut:
"It's as dirty as a tattered rag!"
Sheehan was passing by the Quidditch pitch on his way to Hagrid's Hut, a place he had to pass through.
He wasn't in a hurry to go to the library because his Transfiguration was about to advance.
Under the influence of the panel, his strength increases incrementally, and sometimes it can be described as rapid progress.
After mastering certain techniques, the [Expert] level of matter transformation came twice as fast as expected.
A warm breeze was blowing at the edge of the forbidden forest, and Bai Yi had already grabbed a biscuit and gone after Ya Ya.
Tira wasn't as lively as Bai Yi; most of the time, she would quietly peek out from inside Xien's pocket.
Sheen silently calculated the progress and considered the timing Mr. Sorting Hat had mentioned, when he suddenly caught sight of a group of little witches.
They stood by the Black Lake, or perhaps they were surrounding someone, and Sheen could hear a singing voice:
"The land is alive; it rises and falls every day, that's it sneezing."
Then came a burst of laughter. Sheen saw that everyone had left, leaving only Luna sitting by the Black Lake.
At this moment, the sky and the lake surface both turned into a light blue color with a purplish glow after the rain.
She was not wearing shoes, and it seemed she wasn't wearing socks either, just sitting by the Black Lake, swinging her legs.
The land was not dry after the rainy night; some places were still muddy.
Luna heard the sound of someone stepping on the grass, causing it to bend.
