Chapter 351: Arrival

Chapter 351: Arrival

Everyone enjoyed their Christmas dinner at Hogwarts.

Including Sheen, who was about to embark on a long journey.

After reading the introduction to Ilvermony Castle, Sheen naturally turned to studying the art of engraving the Unmarked Extension Charm.

Then a new problem arose—what kind of container should he choose?

Most wizards would choose a simple and portable storage space like a chest, such as Newt Scamander and Professor Terra.
The choices of the other wizards were quite varied: some wizards engraved the Unseen Extension Charm in the pockets of their robes, some engraved it in their bags, and Mr. Weasley even chose to engrave it in the trunk of his flying car.

Although this is not something to rush, after all, Sheen has only just unlocked the Seamless Extension Charm and has only just received some precious materials from Professor Terra.

But Sheen knew his time was running out.

He must learn how to make seamless stretch bags as soon as possible so that he can further learn how to create living environments and climates for organisms.

This involves stable weather spells and transfiguration, and the master in this field is undoubtedly Hufflepuff.

The thought of meeting Mr. Newt in Ilvermorny and not being able to ask him for advice made Sheehan feel like he was missing out on a great opportunity.

Creating seamless, extendable objects became Sheen's top priority. Before the banquet ended, he practiced on the matchbox.

His efforts over the past week have not been in vain. With Sheen focusing on learning only one spell, he almost mastered the Unfailing Extension Spell.

And so the dinner ended with the little wizards' round bellies full.

Sheen saw that the young wizards were all leaving.

See you tomorrow, Sheen.

Harry and Ron said goodbye to Sheen while yawning.

See you after the Christmas holidays.

Sheen nodded.

What do you mean by "see you after the Christmas holidays"?

Ron was confused, but he was too sleepy to ask any more questions and left with Harry, who was also extremely sleepy.

There's a big event at the Castle Cat Club today, so he needs to hurry back with Harry for a short rest, or they'll miss it.

After all, that's the castle cat that brings Christmas.

Maybe we'll actually see it at Christmas!
The thought of it is exciting.

Upon reaching the entrance to the Portrait Cave, they saw Sir Cadogan enjoying Christmas dinner with two or three monks, several former Hogwarts headmasters, and his fat little grey zebra.

He pushed his helmet up and raised a jug of mead to them.

"Merry Christmas—uh—! The fat lady is drunk, so I'm here to ask you—the password?"

"You filthy mongrel dog."

Ron said.

"You too, sir!"

Sir Cadogan shouted, and the portrait bounced forward to let them in.

In the North Tower, near the Gryffindor Tower, the door to the alchemy office quietly opened.

Sheehan knew that Professor Terra had many offices at Hogwarts—and that the professor often did different work in different offices.

They might even participate in the restoration of Hogwarts Castle.

But he had never been here before—this place was like a teleportation node inside the Ministry of Magic, with at least five fireplaces, all connected to the Floo Powder Network and burning with green flames.

The interior walls and ceilings are made of rough stone, and round, green-glowing lamps are chained and hung from the ceiling.

Beneath a beautifully carved fireplace directly in front of them, a crackling fire reflected Professor Terra's joyful face:
"Come, my disciple. Do you remember the trick to using Floo Powder? Don't mispronounce it. It's Ilvermony Castle—"

After saying that, the professor pulled Sheehan along and strode to the fireplace. He grabbed a handful of glittering powder from a bottle on the mantel and threw it into the flames.

The green flames quickly engulfed the two figures.

……

Ilvermony Castle is built on the summit of Mount Grelock, where it is now covered in snow.

In the midst of a white, desolate world, a fire suddenly broke out in an abandoned fireplace inside a stone house.

Two weary wizards emerged from the flames.

After many twists and turns, Sheen finally saw this place...

What about the castle?
Sheen looked around blankly and confirmed that the surrounding area was full of snow-covered rocks.

When he turned around, he saw that he had come out of a simple stone house.

"A stone fireplace, Eugenia Herrera, they really put a lot of effort into it..."

Professor Terra seemed to know the stone house very well; she was currently examining the various runic symbols engraved on it.

"My disciple, do you know where this place is?"

Professor Terra seemed unable to resist the runic symbols engraved on the stone house, even snapping her fingers as she spoke, causing a softened stone to gently push Sheen in front of the stone house.

“The stone cabin built by Aesop Searle and her Muggle husband James Stewart.”

Sheen thought for two seconds and then replied.

This is the original form of the Ilvermony Magic Academy, and the place where the two founders first began teaching.

"I don't recall this being a common occurrence—it's truly admirable wisdom!"

Just then, an unfamiliar voice rang out. Sheen turned his head and saw an elderly witch.

She had moonlight-white hair, tied in a simple bun at the back of her head, with only a few unruly curls falling beside her ears.

Strangely, her robe was blue and berry red, but it added a touch of unusual charm to her.

“Dear Mr. Hermes, he has finally arrived at the long-awaited Ilvermony Castle.”

The then-principal said this with a warm and slightly excited tone.

The principal's enthusiasm caught Sheen off guard—she was about to reach out and take Sheen's hand.

At this moment, Professor Terra, who was obsessed with runic symbols, stood in front of the two of them, her eyes flashing with a dangerous light:
“Eugenia Herrera, move three feet away from my disciple.”

Knowing the old alchemists' tradition of protecting their own, Principal Herrera actually took two steps back.

After all, if anyone dares to lay a finger on the old alchemist's disciple, the old folks will really fight them to the death.

Not to mention Terra, who is second only to Nicolas Flamel. This title not only highlights her alchemical prowess but also demonstrates the practical ability of this alchemical master to protect her creations.

"Relax, Olivia, we've been friends for fifty years."

Principal Herrera said with a smile.

"Yes, I haven't seen you have a qualified disciple in fifty years."

Professor Terra's expression was rather...strange.

After a long silence in front of the stone house, Principal Herrera gave Professor Terra a helpless glare:
"Let's not dwell on the past. You've come at the perfect time; the statues are still awake..."
