Hogwarts Study Panel
Chapter 92, Section 91: The Spell Learning Plan
Chapter 92, Section 91: The Spell Learning Plan
Sunday.
Inside the classroom.
When Sheen heard the Hogwarts bells ring, he naturally put away his notebook and picked up Nimbus 2000.
He knew the flight test had begun. Although his flying proficiency had reached the expert level, together with the expert-level levitation spell and the expert-level polymorph spell, they constituted his current highest level of magic proficiency.
But he was still a little nervous, after all, he only had one chance.
He has been at Hogwarts for a long time and has achieved some success in every branch of magic.
The [Expert] level Transfiguration spell, one [Expert] level spell, and five [Beginner] level spells, plus the Spell Stop spell that I'm about to learn.
To be on the safe side, Sheen plans to grind Curse Stop to the [Expert] level directly.
As for longer-term goals, such as the Ironclad Charm and the Apparition Charm, Sheehan didn't think Professor Flitwick would teach him so quickly.
Furthermore, Shin's spell title is only at the beginner level, so he is preparing to select three spells to grind to the [expert] level. With the new title, he should be able to learn difficult spells much faster.
Transfiguration is his specialty, and he's not far from being an "expert" level practitioner.
So Sheen opened the panel:
[Name: Sheehan Green]
[Identity: Wizard]
[Title: Beginner in Spells, Proficient in Transfiguration]
[Proficiency]
[Levitation Charm: Expert Level (200/9000)]
【Fluorescent Charm: Beginner Level (600/900)】
……
[Advanced: Six Master-level spells or three Expert-level spells can unlock the Master-level title in the Spellcasting Domain]
Should we choose three expert-level spells?
Sheen thought,
Besides the Curse of Stopping, he also needs another spell.
He thought for a few seconds. He already had offensive means—Polymorphism—and after learning the Curse Stop, he also had defensive means. So, learning some stealth techniques, such as the Illusion Spell, might be a good idea.
He hadn't checked the panel in a long time, so he continued looking down:
[Transfiguration: Expert Level (6100/9000)]
[Advanced: Expert-level Transformation, unlocks the expert-level title in the field of transformation]
[Wizard Talent] [Potions: Green] [Herbalism: Green] [Spells: Blue] [Transfiguration: Purple] [Dark Magic: Gold] [Flight: Gold]
It's a world of difference compared to before I entered Hogwarts.
Sunday afternoon was sunny and cold.
Sheen, carrying his Nimbus 2000, went to the changing room to change clothes.
Although it was a school uniform, he didn't have any other clothes to keep warm.
Meanwhile, in the locker room, Harry and the other team members were changing into their bright red Quidditch robes.
Sheen heard a familiar voice once again:
It was Wood. He cleared his throat to quiet everyone down.
"Alright, guys."
He said.
"And the girls."
A clear female voice said.
"And the girls."
Wood agreed.
"it's time."
"We are about to have an important training session."
A voice that wasn't Wood's spoke, and Sheehan looked through the curtains that were being blown by the wind and saw that it was Fred Weasley speaking.
"Every training session is for the moment we've all been waiting for."
George then took over the conversation.
“We know Oliver’s speech by heart,”
Fred and George spoke together to the bewildered Harry.
“We were on the team last year.” “Shut up, you two.”
Wood said,
"This is the best team Gryffindor has had in years, and we must train hard for the best chance!"
He glared at everyone fiercely, as if to say, "You'll regret this."
"it is known."
Fred lowered his voice considerably, but continued to whisper to Harry as Wood turned his head.
"Harry, you're the best Seeker right now."
"No little wizard is stronger than you."
It's George speaking.
"You also have the latest Nimbus 2000, Merlin, you're the only one in the entire academy who has it."
Next was Fred, who looked at Harry's broom with envy, making Harry blush.
"Alright, now focus on the tactics. Once that little wizard's flight test is over, it'll be our turn!"
Listening to their words, Sheen silently quickened his pace.
Mrs. Hodge was already waiting for him on the Quidditch pitch. She took out an iron ball and said to Sheehan:
"The test is simple: catch those Quaffles and dodge those Loopballs. You have fifteen minutes to complete the test. Catching three Quaffles and dodging all the Loopballs counts as a success..."
She clearly stated the rules, then observed Sheen for a moment, and softened her tone slightly as she spoke.
"Don't be afraid of actually getting hit. I'll be watching you the whole time, but if I actually make a move, your test will be considered a failure! Alright, Mr. Green, what are you waiting for? Hop on your broom and warm up with a couple of laps!"
Sheen suppressed his nervousness and, with a hint of excitement, mounted the broom.
As soon as his feet left the ground, Sheehan calmed down instantly. He flew around the Quidditch pitch twice and then made a few simple turns toward the cue stick.
Just as he was flying smoothly, two furtive figures appeared in the stands.
"Justin, are you sure it's this time?"
Hermione looked around and found no trace of the young wizard, only a few blurry figures flying around the Quidditch pitch—which hadn't been cleared out yet.
"I saw Sheen!"
Justin said loudly.
Hermione looked over suspiciously, but there was only a blurry shadow—it was flying too fast.
Justin handed Hermione a pair of binoculars, and this time Hermione could see Sheehan's face clearly.
How did you see it clearly?
"But do you still have binoculars...?"
Before she could finish speaking, Justin waved his binoculars at her:
"Two portions exactly, my mother always thinks of everything."
……
"Alright, Mr. Green!"
Sheehan saw Mrs. Hodge waving vigorously.
"Watch closely, I'm about to unleash the ball, just like we practiced before, dodge it!"
Sheehan saw Mrs. Hodge toss the ball high into the air, and it came hurtling toward him.
The running ball is a ball that has been enchanted; in Quidditch, it chases any player it encounters without discrimination.
They were originally made of stone; however, these spherical stones had one major drawback:
They would be shattered by the magical bats of 15th-century batters. If this happened, all the players would be chased by flying shards of rock in the remainder of the match.
Agatha Chapp, an expert on ancient magical artifacts, wrote:
"Without a doubt, they are moving balls, not cannonballs."
If left unchecked, the balls would attack the Quidditch player closest to them. Thus, the batter was created, whose task was to hit the wandering ball as far away from their own team as possible.
Sheehan clearly has no batter.
