Chapter 29: The Mantis Stalks the Cicada
Corpse Explosion Technique.

Basically, every necromancer will master this technique; it's less of a spell and more of a special combat skill—the manipulation of necromantic energy. The principle is to activate the energy residing within the undead after they've been summoned, causing it to compress rapidly along a pre-planned energy flow until it reaches its self-destruct limit.

It's actually just a large handmade firecracker.

To maximize its capabilities, some effort must be put into the detonation medium. For example, drowned zombies with a large amount of putrid flesh are more suitable for dealing with a large number of unarmored targets, while exploding them into a large number of skeletons that resemble grenade fragments is a very economical tactic when dealing with lightly armored units that have naturally tough skin.

However, their voices and actions betrayed their special nature; the moment they were discovered, bone spears and arrows were precisely hurled by the skeletal soldiers in the rearguard, piercing their throats or chests.

A large number of Night Demons died as a result.

Their deaths yielded nothing.

A skeleton soldier that is knocked down, torn apart, and smashed will always self-destruct before it is completely destroyed. After the self-destruction, another new skeleton soldier will take its place.

The tunnel, soaked in blood, was filled with the screams and cries of the severely wounded Night Demons.
