Chapter 81 Lost his horse

"Hey! Jiang Che!"

Yoona was furious. All her girlish sentiments were burned away, leaving only competitiveness and dissatisfaction.
She disregarded the atmosphere and directly grabbed Jiang Che's head, which was still shaking wildly and trying to avoid her, with both hands. Leaning forward, she was about to force herself on him.

"Holy crap! You're serious?!"

Jiang Che felt the warmth and pressure on both sides of his cheeks, and he was stunned. How could this woman be so strong?

"Let go! Yoona! Im Yoona! Calm down! Listen to me! Something terrible is going to happen!"

"It's too late to say anything now!" Yoona gritted her teeth, her doe eyes turning into huge doe eyes:
"I'm going to... um!"

As Jiang Che watched Yoon-ah's lips about to press down, he was so frightened that he almost instinctively raised his hand and covered her mouth!

"Ugh! Ugh!" Yoona was abruptly interrupted from casting a spell, and could only let out an angry groan, the flames in her eyes rising rapidly.

The two were locked in a comical standoff in the dim light of the fireflies—one desperately wanting to kiss, the other tightly covering his face to prevent it.

In the struggle, Yoona managed to pry open his arms a little, and in her anger, she blurted out:

"Hey! Didn't you just say it was great to meet me?! Now you treat even a slight touch like it's going to kill you! You liar! You big liar!"

"These are two completely different things! I'm doing this for your own good; I'm afraid you'll be so scared after you kiss me that your face will turn into a meme!"

Jiang Che also felt exhausted and found the defense extremely difficult.

Upon hearing this, Yoona's eyes flickered. She really couldn't understand how a kiss could be related to an emoji. But no matter what, she, Venus Yoona, had actually been rejected!
She steeled herself and shouted, her voice muffled and unclear:
"I...I'm not...scared! I'll take responsibility if you die of fright! Let go of me!"

Seeing her determined and reckless behavior, Jiang Che also lost his temper:
"Okay! You said it! If it really becomes a meme later, don't blame me for not warning you! And don't beat me up either!"

After saying that, he steeled himself, closed his eyes, and abruptly released his hand covering Yoona's mouth, resignedly closing his eyes.

As Yoona felt the restraints lifted, she leaned forward almost without thinking, her soft lips precisely pressing against Kang Cheol's lips.

Time seems to stand still.

Jiang Che felt a soft, slightly cool sensation on his lips, carrying Yoona's faint fragrance. This feeling was far more stimulating than the last time Taeyeon had brushed against his lips. His mind went blank.

Yoona's lips remained there, unmoved, but the texture subtly changed. At first, they were a little cool, but now they were slowly warming, even with a slightly dry, rough feel.
In that instant, her lips parted slightly—not intentionally, but more like an unconscious inhale.

As if drawn by something, Jiang Che also leaned forward slightly. And so the originally light touch suddenly became a deep one.

His free hand slowly rose and gently placed itself on her waist. She gave a soft hum, which sounded less like a refusal and more like tacit consent.

So his palm slowly moved upwards until it touched something.

Yoona let out a muffled groan, her long eyelashes trembling, and slowly opened her eyes.

Then... her pupils suddenly contracted to their maximum size!

What came into view was no longer her own face, but a completely unfamiliar male face!
"!!!"

She was struck as if by an invisible bolt of lightning, jolted back as if electrocuted, and almost staggered as she turned around and snapped the switch on the overhead light.

The sudden bright light instantly dispelled the gloom, causing her to squint slightly. She pointed incredulously at the person in front of her with one hand, while tightly covering her mouth with the other, silencing the gasp that was about to escape her lips.

Under the light, Jiang Che's features were crystal clear. His hair was short and neat, his eyebrows were clean and sharp, and although his eyes weren't particularly large, the corners of his eyes naturally and slightly upturned.
He looks like he doesn't care about anything, with a straight nose and a moderately thick, smiling mouth.

Almost at the same instant the lights suddenly came on, Jiang Che opened his eyes.

The light was so bright it made him feel a little dizzy. He subconsciously looked down at his hands—they were clearly much larger than Yoona's. He then raised his hand to touch his hair; the short hair prickled his palms and made them ache.

Oh no... it exploded again, just as expected.

He looked up at Yoona, who was practically frozen in shock, forced a smile that looked more like a grimace, and awkwardly said:

"Um... I told you... not to kiss me..."

Yoona remained in that utterly shocked pose, her eyes wide open, staring at the man in a bathrobe who had suddenly appeared on her carpet...

She felt as if her CPU had burned out; her mind went blank, with only one thought echoing wildly in her head:

…I kissed a boy out of my house…and he was still alive…

Jiang Che stared at Yoon-ah in that shocked posture for a long time without saying a word.

I felt the atmosphere was too tense and I had to say something to ease the awkwardness.

Then, instinctively, he raised his hand and waved weakly:
"Hi..."

That "hi" was like a key, suddenly unlocking the switch that had locked Yoona's brain in shock.

She trembled as if she'd been electrocuted, pressing herself tightly against the cold wall, her other finger pointing at Jiang Che.
"You...you...you...what is going on?! What are you?!"

Looking at Yoona's worldview collapsing, Jiang Che felt a chill run down his spine. Even if he were awarded a screenwriting award this time, he wouldn't be able to fool her.

His smile, which looked more like a grimace, widened further, in an attempt to ease the awkward atmosphere.
"Uh... haha, isn't this a birthday surprise? A sudden appearance from nowhere, a surprise? Are you happy...?"

Before he could finish speaking, seeing Yoona's face turn as black as the bottom of a pot, her murderous aura almost solidified, he realized he had backfired on his attempt to flatter her.

He instantly dropped all his frivolousness, his expression became incredibly serious, and his voice became steady:

"Um... let's get to know each other again." He paused, then said clearly:
"Jiang Che, I was a boy in my past life. I lied to you the first time we met because we weren't familiar with each other. Later, I thought I couldn't turn back, so I didn't mention it..."

When I finally recovered, I couldn't find a suitable opportunity to tell you.

I am most afraid of the sudden silence of the air

Yoona's gaze swept over Kang Cheol's face and body like a searchlight. Although she seemed to have fallen for him—otherwise, she wouldn't have made such a forceful move—
But the thought that her body had been seen and even touched by him, and that this guy had been lying to her the whole time, made her realize that he must have seen it all.

They claim he's a girl, fabricated a tragic backstory, and said his family favored boys over girls... Pshaw! And what about the club rescuing wayward younger brothers? Pshaw! He's probably the one rescuing wayward younger sisters!

Thinking of all this, Yoona could no longer hold back and let out a scream of extreme shame and indignation:

"what--!!!"
