Chapter 151 Opening

Bishop Eberhard paused for a moment upon hearing this. He was an expert in biochemistry and molecular biology, especially genetics, and while he couldn't be said to have a superficial understanding of dragon genealogy, he was completely ignorant of it. He had never even considered such academic matters.

Just as Lu Mingfei raised his greatsword again, putting on a fierce expression to threaten him once more, Zero suddenly spoke up.

She said calmly:

"Based on the 'A Brief Analysis of the Four Dragon Lords' you submitted at the end of last semester, some professors speculate that Thor and Loki, as well as Fenrir, Jormungandr, and Hela, may all be twins on the throne."

If he's not lying, it's very likely that Hela and Jormungandr are the same person in the history of the dragons.

Thus, the theory of twins is valid.

"besides."

Ling paused, seemingly choosing her words carefully, before continuing:
"Dragons reproduce differently from humans. They may not need to mate, but rather use a 'bone and blood' method to give birth to offspring."

Lu Mingfei was slightly taken aback and was about to speak when a tremendous earthquake completely interrupted him.

"I rely on!"

He exclaimed in surprise:
"So powerful??"

Boom——

The solid ground beneath my feet shook violently, as if a god were wielding a hammer, pounding the earth again and again.

The entire mountain village, no, the entire forest, the entire hill, groaned in unbearable pain!

Large sections of the control room ceiling have peeled off, exposing twisted steel bars.

Spiderweb-like cracks spread across the walls until they completely covered the entire structure, making the whole villa seem like it was about to collapse at any moment!
"Oh shit!"

Lu Mingfei cursed angrily, then yelled at the blonde girl:
"We have to go! This godforsaken place is about to collapse!"

Without waiting for Ling to react, he pulled her into his arms.

The girl was very light, her body soft, like a weightless feather, yet possessing an incredible suppleness and warmth. A unique, clear, and clean scent of hers instantly rushed into Lu Mingfei's nostrils, forcefully occupying all his senses, leaving him momentarily dazed.

Princess hug.

The soft, warm touch was clearly transmitted through the thin clothing; the curves of the girl's body pressed against his arm and chest—a completely unfamiliar experience.

My heart was pounding wildly in my chest, the thumping sound almost drowning out the roar of the collapsing building overhead.

Her eyes remained like calm lakes, showing no ripples, as she tilted her head slightly, quietly looking at him. Those clear eyes reflected Lu Mingfei's domineering and arrogant nature.

However, given the circumstances, he had no choice but to stop thinking about such things.

He glanced at Bishop Eberhard, who was sprawled on the ground, and curled his lip in disdain.

He desperately wanted the culprit who nearly killed him and Chu Zihang in the sewers to be smashed into mincemeat right here by the aftershocks of the awakening of the next generation, but the identity of the real mastermind was still unclear, and this guy was still very useful.

Holding Zero in his arms, Lu Mingfei casually put both Lost Knight Greatswords back into his spatial storage, then grabbed Eberhard by the back of his collar like a chick.

Then, his golden eyes burst forth with two beams of golden light, his muscles bulged and bulged, and a burst of grayish-white energy suddenly erupted, like an invisible domain that firmly protected the three of them and blocked the falling rubble!

"Go east."

Zero's voice came from her arms. She knew Lu Mingfei wanted to take her away, so she calmly said:
"In any other direction, we will be buried alive."

Lu Mingfei did not hesitate.

For some reason, he had a deep, almost instinctive trust in Zero. The gray-white, dust-free realm struggled to maintain itself amidst the raging elemental turbulence, forming a relatively stable air shield that deflected the falling debris and twisted metal components.

He tightened his grip on Zero's arm, while his other hand roughly dragged the dead-dog-like Bishop Eberhard, and he suddenly exerted force with his feet!
boom!
The ground beneath his feet cracked again the moment he pushed off, and Lu Mingfei's figure shot off like a gray-white meteor towards the east.

Behind them, the control room was completely engulfed by smoke and the deafening roar of a collapse.

"Ugh!"

Eberhard was dragged along, the rough ground scraping against his expensive velvet robes with a tearing sound, his body groaning in pain as he was jostled around.

At this moment, he had lost all semblance of bishop's authority; all that remained was a shell hollowed out by fear.

To the east was a corridor leading to the back of the villa, where the walls were now twisted and the overhead chandelier was swinging wildly like a pendulum, the light flickering and casting long, distorted shadows of the three people.

Shards of plaster and lamps kept crashing down onto the dust-free area above, making dull thuds. Nevertheless, this was the fastest route out of the manor.

Lu Mingfei gritted his teeth, veins bulging on his forehead. Maintaining his domain, carrying one person, and dragging another, he moved at high speed through the violently shaking and collapsing building. Every second was a huge drain on his energy. He could feel the power originating from the Great Rune within him flowing away rapidly, like water being drawn away at an alarming rate.

If he hadn't already severed a rune before taking action, greatly enhancing all aspects of his physical attributes, and if the power of the "Center of Gravity Ring" hadn't been constantly circulating within him to replenish his depleted stamina, he would have long since been a skeleton in a grave!

"Roar--!!!"

A roar, filled with pain and rage, came from the depths of the earth.

The terrifying roar, mixed with a powerful mental shock and the pressure of the ancient dragon, would normally have been something Lu Mingfei wouldn't have taken seriously.

But now, amidst the turmoil, this impact struck his domain like a heavy hammer, causing even the power of the storm to hesitate and pause for a moment.

Lu Mingfei's vision went black, and a sweet taste rose in his throat. He forcibly suppressed the stench rising in his throat. Zero, whom he was holding, also tensed slightly, her eyes fixed on the ground in front of her.

Eberhard let out a bloodcurdling scream, blood seeping from his seven orifices, his body trembling even more violently, and his eyes completely glazed over.

His bloodline was only B-grade, and faced with the majesty of the next generation, his spirit was completely crushed.

Eberhard unconsciously muttered broken words:
"God...dust...punishment..."

"Shut up!"

Lu Mingfei let out a low growl, forcibly gathering his strength to stabilize the shaky domain once again.

He pushed his speed to the limit, dashing left and right through the collapsing corridor, avoiding fallen pillars and crumbling floors.

A heavy fire door appeared ahead, its frame completely deformed by the earthquake.

The door was ajar, revealing the raging winds and torrential rain outside!

exit!

A glint flashed in Lu Mingfei's eyes, and he pushed off again with his feet, crashing into the twisted door like a cannonball!

boom!
The fire door was smashed open by his violent force and landed on the muddy lawn!
The icy rain poured down instantly, and the howling wind lashed at the three of them.

They rushed out of the dilapidated villa, temporarily escaping their fate of being buried alive.

However, the outside world is not a safe place either.

The ground beneath my feet was still trembling violently, as if a giant beast was writhing in agony.

The muddy lawn was torn open with deep, bottomless furrows, and towering trees were broken and fell, their branches and leaves dancing wildly in the wind.
