"The channel stability reached 94.7%, and the energy transfer efficiency met theoretical expectations," Spock reported after summarizing the data, his eyes showing intense focus. "Preliminary data support the spatial topology model provided by Chen Yu. This dimension exhibits excellent 'absorption' characteristics, and no signs of information feedback or dimensional contamination were observed."

Scott, however, was more focused on the actual operation. He repeatedly checked the connection points between the generator and the ship's energy network: "Incredible! The energy is mainly consumed in maintaining the channel itself, and the shield field generates almost no heat load! Transmission technology involves, after scanning, completely decomposing the target material into basic particles or energy streams at the transmitting end, while simultaneously encoding the scanned information and transmitting it instantaneously to the receiving end via a subspace channel.

The receiving end then uses the received "blueprint" to precisely reconstruct the material form that is completely consistent with the original target at the quantum level from the local or received energy/matter.

Replication technology is even more direct. It omits the steps of material flow and transmission, and simply uses the "blueprint" obtained by scanning to call on the stored materials and energy at the replication end to directly synthesize a copy that is exactly the same as the original.

In the Warhammer universe, the Cult of Mechanics does have a similar concept.

Terra's vast automated assembly lines and certain ancient artifacts do indeed enable the decomposition and recombination of matter, but the process is often shrouded in mystery and regarded as a "gift from a mechanical god," lacking clear and mass-producible physical principles.

Warp teleportation is even more dangerous, relying on psykers and uncontrollable warp currents, and is far less stable and predictable than Federation technology.
