A master of comedy!

Chapter 308 The River Chariot Crossing the Crane Sutra

Upon opening the door, Zhou Sheng couldn't help but gasp for breath.

Under the moonlight, her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, as if she had just taken a bath, still slightly damp. Her spirited eyes flickered, and her face was flushed.

"It's so late, you—"

"You lecherous temple keeper, I...I have already done as you instructed...washed you clean..."

"You, you mustn't be so presumptuous—"

She gasped in surprise as Zhou Sheng swept her up in his arms.

"Lady Feng is so obedient. Let this temple keeper check carefully to see if it's really clean."

Snapped!
The door was slammed shut, even creaking under the strain.

……

Silk robes hung down, and phoenix robes gathered dust.

Her snow-white stockings were still half-draped between her glistening toes, and the section of her calf peeking out from behind the curtain was dazzlingly white, slender and long, like a jade bamboo shoot.

This leg, outside the curtain, sometimes tense and curled up, sometimes relaxed and stretched out, sometimes straight and taut, bouncing up and down like waves.

This is a classic performance by Aunt Zhang Xiu in the opera "Battle of Wancheng". She uses only one leg to create the scene and atmosphere. Yao Taifeng is indeed a master of opera. Every move she makes is full of skill.

……

In the stillness of the night, the beauty in his arms was exhausted and fast asleep. Zhou Sheng stroked her soft, delicate, and slightly damp hair, his eyes filled with tenderness.

No wonder people say that the land of gentle pleasures is a hero's grave. He didn't believe it before, but now he does believe it to some extent.

In the past, no matter how busy or tired he was, he would practice his skills at night. But now, he can't even muster the slightest interest in practicing.

He felt that the soft, smooth body seemed to possess a kind of magic, making him oblivious to everything else.

But surprises always come unexpectedly.

Just as he was lost in his cultivation and filled with tenderness, a strange, cool aura suddenly surged from his dantian, like an ice cellar in summer, making his pores open and his whole body feel comfortable.

This cool aura traveled along the meridians, causing the Azure Dragon in the golden lake of the dantian to tremble.

The Azure Dragon was transformed from Zhou Shengdanyang, possessing the essence of magic power and being a truly pure Yang entity. Upon smelling the cool aura, it immediately emerged from the abyss, as if it were being drawn by a destiny.

Zhou Sheng was not alarmed, but instead used the Luoshu divination method to calculate.

"The Phoenix of Yaotai has condensed its golden body of incense and is in the initial stage of divine path. It contains innate primordial yin. If it is refined through the method of dual cultivation, it can increase its magical power and cultivation by thirty years."

"If there is no method, one can replenish vital energy and prolong life."

Thirty years of cultivation!
Zhou Sheng couldn't help but look at the sleeping Yao Tai Feng with affection; this was indeed a great gift.

At the same time, he understood why his master had suddenly given him the book "The River Chariot Crossing the Crane Sutra." He had to admit that those who had been through it all had experience.

He even suspects now that his master's high level of cultivation back then was related to this book, "The River Chariot Crossing the Crane Scripture".

He closed his eyes and, following the method recorded in the book, began to move the River Chariot, guiding the innate Yin energy and the Azure Dragon along the Ren and Du meridians, so that Yin and Yang could interact and blend together.

This is the orthodox sexual technique of the Xuanmen sect, not the evil method of sexual cultivation. The power of the technique is pure and refined, and both parties benefit from it.

As the first rooster crowed in the world, Zhou Sheng suddenly opened his eyes. The golden lake in his dantian expanded once more, with a blue dragon in the abyss, its roar like thunder, poised to leap into the abyss at any moment.

One hundred and eighty years of cultivation!

At this point, he not only completely solidified his fifth level of cultivation, but also took another big step forward. He could vaguely feel a cool aura entering from heaven and earth at the Baihui point on the top of his head.

Baihui, also known as Tianmen, is the greatest obstacle to overcome in the next realm.

Only by opening the Heavenly Gate and building a bridge between humanity and the universe can the primordial spirit leave the body and fly to heaven, comprehending the mysteries of heaven and earth and the secrets of the universe.

Reaching this level signifies transcending the ordinary and entering sainthood, a state of profound mystery.

When the primordial spirit travels, it can reach the highest heavens and the deepest hells, traversing nineteen states in a single night. Furthermore, it can communicate with the heavens and man, drawing upon the power of heaven and earth for its own use. Any spell or supernatural power will be greatly amplified in its hands.

Even the simplest little spell can turn the rotten into the miraculous.

He travels to the North Sea in the morning and to Cangwu in the evening, a green snake hidden in his sleeve, his courage bold and unrestrained.

This poem by Master Chunyang describes this state of being. When one has cultivated to this point, one has begun to resemble an immortal, and is therefore also known as a half-immortal.

He had one foot in the gates of immortality.

Zhou Sheng felt that he wasn't too far from reaching that realm. Perhaps after consuming the pill refined from the inner core of the dragon, he would have a chance to break through to the sixth level. Opening his eyes, he saw that it was already bright outside, with the morning sun shining brilliantly.

It was a beautiful, sunny day, but unfortunately, the beautiful woman beside me had disappeared, and even the plum blossoms had been cut off.

A lingering fragrance.

Zhou Sheng's heart tightened, and he quickly got up, dressed, and pushed open the door.

In the courtyard, a stunningly beautiful figure was practicing swordsmanship. She held swords in both hands, her feet moving with the grace of clouds, her swords swirling like a whirlwind dancing in the snow, the flashing light dazzling and breathtaking.

Stepping through the clouds, turning over with a sword on his back, bending low to gaze at the moon...

Her amazing softness and resilience demonstrate her profound skill and expertise.

However, her footwork was slightly unsteady today, as if she were injured, which caused a slight flaw in this otherwise perfect sword dance.

"Still laughing? It's all your fault."

Seeing Zhou Sheng's gloating smile, Yao Tai Feng glared at him fiercely.

With a clang, she sheathed her sword, her posture graceful and her movements swift, displaying her dashing spirit.

However, his sword-like eyebrows furrowed slightly, revealing a hint of dissatisfaction.

"These two swords are also extraordinary, both being sharp weapons that can cut through iron like mud. They were very handy to use in the past, but now they feel a bit... light."

She has attained the Golden Body of Incense, and her cultivation has greatly increased. After practicing dual cultivation last night, her magical power has increased even more.

These twin swords of Yu Ji are already somewhat unable to keep up with her progress.

"How about we get two more swords?"

She shook her head and said, "These two swords have been with me for many years, and I've developed an attachment to them. I don't want to abandon them."

She was a person who valued loyalty and righteousness, and she was unwilling to betray even a sword.

"I've got it! Dragon scales and dragon horns are both treasures for refining weapons. Once I find the old man of Niushan, I'll ask him to help you reforge your twin swords!"

"No, such a treasure is best left to you."

"With Yazi in hand, all the world's weapons are at my fingertips. I have no shortage of weapons. But you, as the deputy head of our Zhou family troupe and a pillar of the opera, if you lack a suitable weapon, wouldn't others laugh at me for being stingy as the head of the troupe?"

"Besides, you gave me a big gift last night."

Hearing this, Yao Tai Feng glared at him again and said angrily, "Don't mention such shameful things again, otherwise, even if you are the king, don't blame me for being merciless with my sword!"

"Ashamed? Then who was it that shouted that last night—"

Before Zhou Sheng could finish speaking, a sword's cry suddenly rang out, its cold light reflecting the brilliant morning light, appearing like a dragon in flight.

However, Jianfeng deliberately avoided vital points and held back three-tenths of his strength when he attacked.

Even though she knew she couldn't hurt Zhou Sheng, she still refused to use her full strength.

A crisp clang rang out.

Zhou Sheng held the sword blade between two fingers, sparks flying from his bronze skin. He then flicked it lightly, causing the sword to tremble violently and almost crack.

"Alright, this sword is indeed a bit lacking, but..."

He stepped forward, approaching the radiant and beautiful woman step by step, gently embracing her and whispering softly in her ear.

"Besides being embarrassing, how was the experience last night...?"

Yaotai's phoenix eyes shimmered with tears, and she bit her lip, remaining silent.

"do not know."

She turned her face, her cheeks flushed, and felt as if the cool hilt of the sword had become scorching hot, with an inexplicable heat.

"do not know?"

"It's okay, if we forget, we'll just try again."

After saying this, Zhou Sheng picked her up around the waist and carried her back into the room.

The twin swords of Yu Ji, symbolizing a heroine, fell helplessly to the ground with a mournful sound, as if they had foreseen their master's fate.
