Chapter 122 Hello
Chapter 122 Hello
“To give Caesar a surprise.” Ita winked at Yumilia.
Yumilia gave a vague "oh" in response.
“Okay, I understand. I’ll keep it a secret,” Yumilia said.
"Okay, then I'll leave it to you." Ita smiled, her eyes narrowing.
"By the way, I heard before I came that there's a really famous cake shop in the capital. Shall I go with you to try it today? We can also chat at the same time."
“Okay, I also have a lot to say to Ita,” Yumilia said. “Wait for me, I’ll go back and pack up first, and I’ll be right there.”
"Ah."
Ita waved to her, watching Yumilia run back into the botanical garden, a warm smile still on her face.
She quickly suppressed her smile and said to Delina beside her, "Delina, go and inform Jialisi Cake Shop to have the head pastry chef prepare."
"Yes," Dalina nodded.
This Jialisi Cake Shop is actually a shop owned by the Frederick family.
Ita remained standing alone by the car, waiting for Yumilia.
Not long after, a white Foton car stopped not far away, and Freya, in her transformed form as Caroline, got out of the car.
She had just dropped Caesar off at home and was on her way to pick up Yumilia.
As soon as she got off the bus, she saw Ita standing there, and her expression immediately changed.
“Miss Holonig, what are you doing here?” she asked, frowning.
Ita's cold gaze swept over her.
“Ms. Geffert,” she said casually, “what a coincidence, I didn’t expect to meet you here.”
"Is there something you need here?" Freya asked with a worried expression, her face darkening.
“Don’t act so timid. I’m not interested in you, Geffert,” Ita said with a faint smile. “Don’t think I’m going to burn down your botanical garden just because I’m standing at the entrance.”
Freya pursed her lips. This young girl, and the Frederick family she controlled, were an extremely terrifying force in the upper echelons of Finn society.
Although the Roman family and the Frederick family had no conflict, Freya had witnessed the aggressiveness of this dragon at several business gatherings, and saw several prominent companies around her being mercilessly devoured by it.
The other party is not as harmless as they appear; the claws of a dragon show no mercy to anyone.
“If you’re interested in the botanical garden, I can take you inside for a visit,” Freya tentatively suggested.
But a hint of impatience appeared on Ita's face:
“This has nothing to do with you, Gefit. I don’t like being disturbed in private either. If you have anything else you want to discuss with me, please make an appointment first.”
Freya frowned slightly, but still had no intention of continuing the conversation. She was about to go inside to find Yumilia when Yumilia had already changed her clothes and run out.
Upon seeing Yumilia emerge, Ita immediately smiled and was about to call out to her when Yumilia called out first, "Mom!"
To her shock, Yumilia turned around and threw herself into Freya's arms, clearly calling out the word "Mom".
"I'm late, Yumilia. I picked up Caesar first and took him home." Freya gently stroked Yumilia's head.
"Oh, right, Mom, let me introduce you." Yumilia let go of her, ran over and pulled Ita over, and said to Freya:
"This is Ita, my child, and she's very close to Caesar!" "Ita, I haven't told you yet, this is my mother. We were separated for a long time and only recently met again."
As Yumilia spoke, she noticed that the expressions on the faces of the two people were somewhat abnormal.
Freya and Ita stared at each other in disbelief.
Ita's expression also froze completely.
How could she have imagined that, even though she knew Freya's true identity was an elf, she had never thought that Freya would actually be Yumilia's mother after knowing her for so long?
Standing in front of Freya, Ita was extremely embarrassed and ashamed.
Her previous haughty demeanor vanished instantly. Like a child who had made a mistake, she shrank her neck, lowered her head, and whispered to Freya:
"Hello."
The Formless Heavenly Realm rapidly reassembled before his eyes, and moments later, Caesar was already seated on the throne.
He waved his hand, and a ball of blue light enveloped the pipe that had been there before, which then appeared in front of him.
He used the purifying power of the Formless Heaven Domain to purify the pipe for more than a month, but it still showed no results.
Either it truly contains no anomalous elements, or the anomalous elements it contains are beyond its cognitive scope.
He felt that both were possible.
The secret of this pipe cannot be solved, nor can we find out where that mysterious sorcerer came from.
Although the final blow had caused him considerable damage, it was certainly not fatal. The opponent's target was him, the crown, a hidden danger that had to be dealt with completely.
He thought for a moment, then took out the black box that Sothos had left him, wanting to summon Sothos's remnant soul to ask him if he might have some recollection of this matter.
The magic was poured into the black box, and the previous scene reappeared. A moment later, a blond-haired Sothos appeared before them.
As soon as he came out, he stretched lazily, as if he had just woken up, and yawned as he said:
"What brings you here, Your Majesty? Are you looking for some amusement?"
“I’m not that bored,” Caesar said. “I have something I want to show you. Do you remember any of the scents on this?”
He handed the pipe to Sothos.
Sothos held his pipe, but a look of confusion appeared on his face.
"What the hell is this?"
Sothos, being an ancient person, had never seen a pipe, which only appeared in later times.
“This is called a pipe. It’s a pastime for people nowadays, just like drinking,” Caesar explained simply. “I want you to feel the presence of this pipe. Does it feel familiar?”
Sothos looked the pipe up and down, then held it to his nose and smelled it.
"It smells awful, but the lingering scent does seem somewhat familiar," he said thoughtfully.
"Really? When did this happen?" Caesar asked immediately.
“It was after we took over Visconno,” Sothos said, recalling the events. “Do you remember? We discovered an ancient ruin beneath the main city, and that ruin was closely connected to the lineage of the Dragon King Holonig.”
