Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 172 Caesar's Reward

Chapter 172 Caesar's Reward

After class, as usual, three students stayed in the classroom to clean up. They were ranked by student ID number, and today the first three were responsible for cleaning.

That is, Sia, Caesar, and Tiss.

They packed up the gingerbread cookies they had baked that day so they could take them home for their parents and family members to try.

Caesar poured the plate of dark brown cookies he had baked into his handbag, looking at the oddly shaped little cookies and imagining how Yumilia would taste them.

But no matter what it tastes like, she'll probably just say it's delicious, right?
"Caesar, I'll leave the sweeping to you. I'll mop it later."

Tess had already walked over with the mop in her hand and said this.

"OK,"

She then shifted her gaze to Sia in front of her, "You, you can take care of cleaning up the trash on the table, if you don't mind."

"What do you mind?" Xia asked, seemingly puzzled.

Tess seemed taken aback by the question and awkwardly turned her head away: "Never mind."

She went to fetch water with a bucket.

Actually, fetching water is a physically demanding task that is usually done by the boys in the class, but it seems that in order to avoid being alone with Xia, Tiss took the initiative to do it.

Her attitude towards Sia now seems somewhat complicated. Her previously purely negative attitude towards her softened considerably after the attack, but she can't bring herself to be too proud, causing her to feel intimidated whenever she sees her.
After she went to fetch water, only Caesar and Sia remained in the classroom.

This appears to be their first meeting since the canal incident. After completing the task Caesar assigned her, Sia has had no further opportunity to contact Caesar because all the officials in the palace are under investigation.

The classroom was quiet; everyone was doing their own thing and no one spoke.

Sia was tidying up the empty bottles and jars on the table, while Caesar was sweeping the floor. As they were swaying, their backs bumped into each other without them realizing it.

"Excuse me," Xia said, taking a step back.

After they parted ways, they each went about their own business.

In the silence, Caesar suddenly spoke: "Are you injured?"

"What?" Xia looked over.

"Were you injured that night when you went on your mission?" Caesar asked.

Sia shook her head. "Everything went smoothly. The two spells you taught me were very useful."

"That's good," Caesar said.

"Teacher, are you hurt?" Xia asked.

"Me? I'm alright, just a minor injury." Caesar shrugged.

"Was everything alright on the other side of the canal that night?"

Even she couldn't get any real information about the canal these past two days; the kingdom had completely blocked all information.

To find out exactly how much contribution one has made, one must ask Caesar in person.

"Very successful. After you cut off the main control panel, the power of Evil Spirit Number Three was greatly weakened, which allowed us to kill it and prevent it from threatening more civilians."

"Thanks to you this time, Sia, you saved the people of the Morgans region, otherwise our losses would have been great."

Caesar said to Sia,
Xia stopped tidying the table, a sense of honor she had never felt before unconsciously rising within her.

"I just want His Majesty's approval. If possible, I hope you can also give me more approval, teacher."

She pursed her lips and gave Caesar a slightly embarrassed smile. "Gaining His Majesty's approval will be a bit difficult," Caesar chuckled, "but, Sia, I've already decided that you are worth my effort and guidance."

"Um, I, I will continue to work hard." Xia suddenly became flustered and stammered.

Caesar seemed oblivious to her emotions, and said while sweeping the floor, "By the way, you did an excellent job on this mission. As promised, I should give you some reward."

"A reward." Xia hadn't expected Caesar to actually keep his promise; she thought it was just something he said to motivate her.

Now she can't help but be curious about this "reward".

"His promises can't be anything ordinary, right?"

"That tomb is about to open, and His Majesty will send people to explore it. You can choose one of the spoils found inside," Caesar said.
"This is what His Majesty promised you. However, I also want to make a promise to you in my own name: if you ever need my help in the future, I will provide it."

The previous choice, the spoils from the tomb, was a bit beyond Sia's capabilities. Her knowledge of magic was still limited, and she had no concept of what was useful and what wasn't. In the end, Caesar would probably have to make the choice for her.

As for the second one...
"Yes, anything is fine?" she asked.

"At least it's within the bounds of common sense, right? If you're asking me to pluck a star or something, then forget about it."

“I definitely wouldn’t think that way,” Xia said, dissatisfied.

However, the reward was a promise from Caesar, which must have been very valuable to her, and given Caesar's abilities, she believed he could accomplish many things.

Even now, Xia has an idea in her head.

But she quickly rejected the idea.

"This is still a bit too naive. Even if I bring it up, he probably won't be happy. It should be used for something more important," Xia thought to herself.

"Do you have an idea?" Caesar asked, looking at her thoughtful expression.
"No, not yet," Xia quickly replied.

"Oh, right," she thought of something else, glanced at the classroom door, and lowered her voice.

“You don’t need to speak so softly. I’ve already set up a silencing spell in the classroom. No one outside can hear you,” Caesar said.

Sia looked around in slight surprise; she hadn't even noticed Caesar's movements.

“After that, I felt that Enled had become suspicious of me,” Sia said with a serious expression. “The main control equipment was destroyed, and the palace has been secretly arresting traitors during this time, and he at least suspects that I was involved in this operation.”

“Perhaps so, after all, you’re the only one who’s different in that family,” Caesar said casually.

"However, even if he wanted to get something out of you now, it would be impossible. You don't need to worry too much, and," he chuckled,
Even if he does discover your abnormality, he won't take action for the time being.

"why?"

"First, there's your identity; the kingdom needs you. Second, they will discover that the mystery surrounding you cannot be uncovered through conventional means, which is not a pleasant thing for them, and they will carefully consider your situation."

The abilities he bestowed upon Sia were all based on the high status of the King's Crown, which would certainly be undetectable with current technology. And if there were an existence that could not be found no matter how hard one looked, it would not be something to be taken lightly.

Xia opened her mouth slightly and nodded as if she understood.

"Hu Zhenchen"

Tess, standing outside the door, laboriously put down the bucket, took a breath, and wiped the sweat from her forehead.

Just then, she looked up and saw through the window that the two people inside were chatting away.

"Huh?" She twitched her eye. "How come these two are so close?"
