Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 190 I'm just an ordinary student
"Don't worry, we're still getting along like normal classmates, and there haven't been any conflicts. I know Caesar is a good classmate, and there was a misunderstanding before," Xia said.

She was attracting more and more attention from those around her, and they wanted to end the conversation as soon as possible.

Normally, she would just give a cold shoulder to anyone who tries to talk to her, but for some reason, all her pride vanished when she faced this little girl, and she just couldn't muster any backbone.

It felt like some kind of kinship suppression.

That said, if Caesar is considered her father in terms of family relationship, then wouldn't this little girl in front of her be her grandmother?
Yumilia, of course, had no idea what Sia was thinking at that moment; she even felt a little nervous.

“That would be wonderful! I also hope you can become good friends with Caesar. Oh, by the way, you are welcome to come to our house if you would like! We would love to have you here!” Yumilia said.

"Well... I'll go if I have the chance," Xia could only reply casually.

"Xia, what are you still doing here?"

Manslivi's voice came from behind them, and the noblewoman walked up with a slight frown.

"Hello, Lady Manslivy, as Caesar's elder, I haven't been able to apologize to Xia in person for what happened last time, which is why I've been delayed here for a while," Yumilia said quickly.

Manslivy glanced at her, a formulaic smile on her face:
"Lady Yumilia, I remember telling you last time that this matter doesn't need to be worried about anymore, right?"

"Yes, yes," Yumilia said weakly, sensing the obvious displeasure in the other person's tone.

“Well then, we still have things to take care of, Sia.”

"Yes, I'll take my leave now, Mrs. Yumilia."

"Ah, okay, goodbye, Sia, Mrs. Manslivy."

After a brief farewell, Sia left with Manslivy.

Once they reached the empty corridor, Manslivi said in a cold tone, "I've told you many times, don't waste your time on those insignificant people. If you give them a hard time, they'll stick to you like glue. Do you understand?"

"I understand," Xia said expressionlessly.

But she couldn't help but think to herself:

"A nobody?"

Yumilia lowered her head and returned to the lawn in front of the auditorium.

Caesar immediately came over.

"Why did you take so long? The school has already called us over."

“Caesar,” Yumilia said dejectedly.

I think I messed up.

"What is it now?" Caesar asked.

Yumilia told him everything that had just happened.

When Caesar heard that it was she who had upset Sia's adoptive mother, Manslivi, he chuckled twice.

"I thought it was something serious. Those high-ranking people are all like that. There's no need to care," he said casually.

“Yes, is that so?” Yumilia said.

“Also, sometimes you shouldn’t be too weak and polite, otherwise you’ll be too easily bullied,” Caesar said. “Understood.”

"Alright, it's time for us to go in. The auditorium is calling us." Caesar took Yumilia's hand and led her into the auditorium.
Upon arriving backstage at the auditorium, they found many people already preparing. The person in charge was Mr. Newman, the Secretary of Academic Affairs, whom they had met briefly during the previous interview. Upon seeing Caesar and Yumilia arrive, he quickly went to greet them.

"Caesar, Lady Yumilia, how are your preparations for the speeches coming along?" he asked.

"Rest assured, everything is ready," Caesar said.

“I’m fine too,” Yumilia said nervously.

"That's good. Um, if possible, could you please touch up your makeup before going on stage? We happen to have a makeup artist available."

He called out to one side, and a moment later, a woman in her thirties with long green hair walked over.

"Ms. Winsor, could you please prepare the makeup for these two?"

"No problem, please come with me."

She led the two of them to the dressing room.

Although Yumilia doesn't really need much makeup, she still needs to dress up a bit for the sake of her stage presence. She did put on some light makeup before coming, but her makeup skills were really terrible.
“You have a really good foundation, no wonder you’re an elf. In that case, all we need is a little lighting,” the makeup artist said as she set out her beauty tools. Yumilia sat stiffly in the chair.

Caesar looked around. There were quite a few people backstage: the host, members of the school's board of directors, and several invited renowned literary figures and writers from the kingdom.

Just then, a slight commotion arose outside, and two rows of guards in black jogged in, quickly clearing a space around them. Newman hurriedly went to greet them.
There must be only one goal behind such a grand display.

He saw four tall bodyguards protect the figure in the center from the front, back, left, and right as he slowly walked into the backstage area.

Enred Marshall, the Kingdom's Chancellor, leader of the Unger faction, known as the Arrow of Finn, and also Sia's adoptive father, appeared before him for the first time.

Judging from his appearance alone, the other person was rather thin, with deep-set eyes, downturned lips, and an imposing demeanor. His eyes held a deep and unfathomable light, giving the first impression of a dangerous person.

Newman stepped forward and said respectfully to him, "Mr. Enrender, thank you for your hard work. Please come with me to the lounge to wait."

"Where's Greenworth? On such an important day, isn't the principal going to attend?" Enlid said calmly.

“Mr. Greenworth is dealing with other matters and will be here in a while. I’m managing things here on his behalf, so I’m sorry I haven’t been able to properly receive you,” Newman explained.

Enlid's face remained expressionless, and he knew in his heart that at this time of political turmoil, Greenway did not want to see him face to face.

They headed towards the prepared special rest room when a figure ran up to them.
"Mr. Newman, this is the speech for a moment. Do you have any questions?"

“Caesar, I’ll be there in a bit, please wait a moment,” Newman said hurriedly as he took the speech.

"Thank you for your help. Oh, hello, Mr. Enred, it's an honor to meet you."

Ignoring the hostile stares from his bodyguards, Caesar greeted Enred with a smile.

Enlid's emotionless gaze fell upon him. Perhaps it was just for show, or perhaps he was genuinely interested in him, so he asked in a detached tone:

"What's your name?"

“Caesar, Caesar Thranduil, is just an ordinary student at this academy,” Caesar replied casually.
