Chapter 277 The Weasley Family

"Looks like I've come here to make things worse."

After dealing with all the students' parents, Li Wei spoke to Professor McGonagall.

"Don't say that, you've saved me a lot of trouble."

Seeing the parents finally reluctantly heading to the auditorium for lunch, Professor McGonagall hurriedly added to Levi:
"If you weren't there, they would definitely be eager to see you. It's only because you're there that they're so cooperative."

Leave the rest to me. Please finish inspecting the remaining areas, okay?

"Of course, I'll go right now."

Li Wei nodded, picked up the list and glanced at the remaining tasks—it was almost ten o'clock, and those time-consuming and laborious arrangements should be mostly completed; he should go and check on them.

Just as Li Wei was about to leave, a plump woman with red hair carefully blocked his way from the side.

She glanced cautiously at Li Wei from the side, then a warm, ingratiating smile spread across her face as she tentatively asked:

"Excuse me, are you Professor Li Wei?"

"It's me—who are you?"

“I’m Ron Weasley’s mother—let me introduce myself, my name is Molly Weasley, and I’ve always wanted to meet you.”

"Hello."

Li Wei nodded and asked the parent, whose demeanor was completely different from the other purebloods, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"No—it's nothing—but it's very important to me."

Molly waved her hand and continued:

“I am very grateful for everything you have done for the children, and I must thank you in person.”

Li Wei wanted to speak, but the other person spoke so quickly that they didn't give him a chance to speak at all, and continued:

"You have no idea how much trouble my two troublemakers cause me. At one point, I thought they wouldn't be able to graduate, and I was so worried that I couldn't even eat."

"Thankfully, you've put them on the right track—Professor Li Wei, I really hope you can talk to them sometime and get them to focus more on their studies instead of playing pranks all day."

Upon hearing this, Qiao Weili hesitated for a moment.

The next moment, Li Wei spoke:
"If that's the case, I think they have a real talent for making magical items."

"Uh?"

Molly was stunned.

She didn't expect Li Wei to say that.

Seeing that she finally showed signs of calming down, Li Wei continued:
“I have never believed that academic performance can determine a student’s achievement—or rather, it is not entirely true.”

In fact, I think if there were a course called "Magic Item Crafting," those two brothers would easily get an O.

"Ah—is that so?"

Hearing Li Wei's calm and powerful voice, Molly's momentum faltered, and she fell into deep thought.

She never expected Li Wei to say such a thing. She had always thought that the two naughty kids in the family would never be able to give her any peace of mind.

But Li Wei, in front of this parent whom he was meeting for the first time, bluntly refuted her, saying that she was truly, truly, truly a good teacher!

Mrs. Weasley couldn't resist reaching out to take Levi's hands in hers, but Levi subtly stepped back to avoid her excessive enthusiasm.

Even so, she didn't care at all, and instead said with tears in her eyes:

"I never imagined that Professor Levi, at such a young age, you would have such experience and insight in educating students—I'm beginning to believe—it's because of professors like you guiding them that my children have undergone such a remarkable transformation," Mrs. Weasley wiped away her tears and continued:
"And Ron, when I heard he got all E's on his final exams, I honestly felt like I could die right there and then without any regrets."

She rattled off a whole bunch of things in one breath: the excellent and worry-free Percy, the eldest son who worked as an unraveler in Gringotts, and the second son who worked as a dragon trainer in Romania.

It seemed that if no one stopped her, she was going to drag Li Wei over and tell him all her family's troubles in one go.

"Molly, what are you doing?"

Just then, Arthur Weasley, who had already entered the hall, discovered that his wife was missing. He turned back and called out to her.

His figure quickly approached from afar, and upon seeing Li Wei standing beside his wife, a warm smile appeared on his face.

Unlike those politicians, although he also worked at the Ministry of Magic, his smile looked very genuine.

"Oh—Professor Li Wei, I've heard so much about you! I've always wanted to meet you."

After assessing the situation, Arthur immediately stepped forward and extended his hand to Levi.

As the two shook hands, he, like his wife, began to chatter incessantly:
"I am Arthur Weasley. Thank you for taking care of my children. They have written to me many times about you. As their father, Professor Levy, I see the shadow of Muggle education in your teaching. I wonder..."

"Alright, Arthur!" Molly said, displeased. "Do you really have to discuss Muggle stuff with other people without considering the occasion or the timing?"

Today, everyone here is a pure-blood family. It's one thing for Arthur to be interested in Muggle things, but if Professor Levi were forced to talk about those things out of politeness—if others saw this, it might cause him trouble.

“I’m sorry, Molly, look at me—I’m sorry, Professor Levi.”

Arthur snapped back to reality at his wife's prompting, put his right hand behind his head, and hurriedly apologized to Levi.

What a lively family! Sirius should get along very well with them.

Li Wei shook his head and said:
"It's alright. In fact, Mr. Weasley is right. My teaching methods are indeed derived from Muggle education."

I think their teaching methods are quite commendable; it's the Hogwarts education that has consistently lagged behind in terms of intensity.

"Unbelievable!" Mrs. Weasley gasped, covering her mouth in surprise, her gaze towards Levi shifting once more.

"Sure enough! I knew it!"

Seeing that Levi's attitude was calm and friendly, Arthur's interest, which had just been suppressed, immediately rekindled.

However, Mrs. Weasley interrupted him again:

"Alright, Arthur! If we're going to talk about these trivial things, there will be plenty of opportunities later. Don't waste Professor Levi's time."

She then looked at Li Wei and said:

"Excuse me, Professor Li Wei—we've always wanted to meet you to express our gratitude, but now that we've achieved our goal, we won't bother you any longer."

After saying that, she forcefully pulled the 'dissatisfied' Arthur away.

"You were the one who went to talk to him first, Jasmine. I haven't even exchanged more than a few words with him yet."

As Mr. Weasley was being led away, he turned and waved to Levi.

"What a spirited family."

Jowell laughed as he offered his assessment—he had a fairly good impression of the Weasley Twins.

After seeing Weasley's parents, it's clear that it's precisely because of such parents that they raised such a fun and loving child.

Camille stared silently at Mrs. Weasley's departing figure, one hand pressed to her heart. Was this what a mother represented? For some reason, she felt uneasy.
