The helicopter landed smoothly on the headquarters' helipad.

As soon as the cabin door opened, a team of staff in protective suits rushed up.

Stretchers, trolleys, and gold containers were prepared in advance. They had a clear division of labor and quickly carried the people off the plane.

"Ship it directly to the third basement level! The laboratory is ready!"

The man had a sallow complexion and his skin was covered in wrinkles, making him look much like a paper doll.

As for that man, it was the first time Wen Zhong had ever seen someone with such a strange appearance.

"I've never seen this person's information before... another captain?"

The three of them came up, and Wang Xiaoming got straight to the point.

"Liu San, take Li Jun inside first. Ah Hong, Jiang Shangbai is in your care. Fang Shiming will be here soon."

The two nodded and immediately led the two away.

After saying that, Wen Zhong remained slumped on the stretcher. This was his bottom line; having promised Yang Jian, he would definitely keep the secret.

Wang Xiaoming stared at him, his expression unchanged. After a few seconds, he nodded: "I understand."

Then he turned around and said, "Let's talk as we walk."

Tong Qian immediately pushed Wen Zhong and followed behind Wang Xiaoming.

The newly established headquarters was huge, with almost the entire underground area dug out. The three entered a long underground corridor, with one laboratory after another on each side.

Wen Zhong even saw a sign that read "A Study on the Gender of Vengeful Ghosts".

"Ghosts are divided into men, women, young and old?" Wen Zhong couldn't help but think to himself.

Wang Xiaoming's voice remained as calm as ever: "You just said there's a tree inside."

“That’s right.” Wen Zhong said, looking at the names of the laboratories on both sides. “A bronze tree, consisting of nine parts, is stored behind a huge golden door.”

"Hmm." Wang Xiaoming nodded. "That makes sense then."

"What makes sense?" Wen Zhong was taken aback.

Wang Xiaoming stopped in front of an unmarked gate; the gate had no sign.

After scanning the pupils, Wang Xiaoming pushed the door open and entered.

“You gave Li Jun a leaf at the museum entrance.”

The interior space is vast, with a giant glass panel dividing the room in two. The glass is made of a similar material to those in museums, gleaming with a golden sheen, and its main component is gold.
