Seeing this, the Great Bhikkhu Hongfa frowned, knowing that there was going to be a change, he immediately waved his hands and raised his voice and said, "This is the end of today's sermon, you should read it carefully when you go back, and don't slack off."

All the disciples took orders to resign and left this place, and the void in the sky became more and more distorted, gradually forming a circle, emitting a strange light.

The Great Bhikkhu Hongfa counted his fingers, his frowning brows suddenly unfolded, and he murmured with a smile: "So it's not a catastrophe, but a visit from a distinguished guest."

As soon as he finished speaking, two figures suddenly emerged from the twisted circle in the void, and they froze in the air as soon as they appeared. They were Li Qianmo and Chu Xingyao.

As soon as they appeared, they found that they were inadvertently teleported to someone else's sect, and there was a master of the four great perfections standing below him, looking up at them.

Although Li Qianmo had a good impression of monks, he would not be so heartbroken when they met for the first time. He shook his head with a light smile, and asked with palms together: "May I ask the master's name."

Hongfa put his hands together and returned the salute: "A certain family's Dharma name is Hongfa, and he is the elder of this Daleiyin Temple."

"Da Leiyin Temple." Li Qianmo muttered to himself when he heard the words, turned his head and looked around, and found that the building here was exactly the same as that of Jialan Temple. Which Buddha did the temple inherit from?"

Hongfa smiled and said, "The Daleiyin Temple is naturally inherited from the Buddha Sakyamuni. Isn't Li Tanyue from the Big Dipper Starfield, and he has never heard of my Buddha name?"

Li Qianmo gave a dry laugh and said apologetically, "I made the master laugh, I really haven't heard of it."

Hongfa led the two of them into the side hall of the Daxiong Hall, and ordered the novice to make tea. Soon, a pot of fragrant tea was brought up. Hongfa poured tea for the two of them himself, very polite, almost eager.

Although Li Qianmo couldn't see through the propagating Dharma with the Tianzi Wangqi technique, he could feel that the old monk was not malicious. After chatting with him for a few words, he began to express his doubts: "Master, what kind of birth was Lanruo Buddha in? family?"

Hongfa was about to drink tea, he was startled when he heard the words, put down the tea bowl, muttered with his beard, "Actually, Buddha Lanruo is not from this world, he came from another universe, and when he came here, he was already a The supreme Dao Zun has cultivated it."

"As expected!" Li Qianmo cried inwardly when he heard the words, but he still pretended to be ignorant and frowned, "Another universe? Why haven't I heard of it?"

Hongfa smiled lightly and said: "People who know about this matter are generally masters who are above the fourth level of the Dao. Tanyue, you have not yet reached the level of cultivation, and you have few people to meet. It is normal that you have never heard of it."

Li Qianmo nodded, and after pondering for a long time, he suddenly asked: "Master, where did Lan Ruo Buddha go?"

When Hongfa heard the words, his face suddenly showed pity, he raised his head and let out a long sigh, and said slowly, "I'm sitting down."

"Ah?" Chu Xingyao suddenly called out, "Didn't you say that the Master has eternal life? How could he sit down?"

Hongfa sighed bitterly again, and said, "It was the Buddha himself who practiced meditation."

Li Qianmo and Chu Xingyao were taken aback when they heard the words. They knew what "San Gong" meant, and it was actually the wheel of self-explosion. Life force comes from the wheel of life, if there is no wheel of life, they will die.

Li Qianmo was stunned for a long time, puzzled, frowned and asked: "Why is this, why did the Buddha beads commit suicide?"

Hongfa slowly shook his head and said, "However, judging from the text left by the Buddha before his death, he seems to have predicted that a catastrophe would come to him. If he resisted, the catastrophe It will affect the entire Great Leiyin Temple, and even the entire Lianzhen Star will suffer."

Li Qianmo and Chu Xingyao were shocked again when they heard the words. The catastrophe that even masters of Taoism feared, how terrible the catastrophe would be, it is unimaginable, Li Qianmo blurted out and asked: "What is the catastrophe that even the Buddha All the peerless masters are powerless and forced to commit suicide?"

Hongfa lowered his eyebrows and sighed when he heard the words: "We at Daleiyin Temple have been pondering this question for tens of thousands of years, but there has been no result. It may be that our vision is too small, and there are many things that we haven't seen before, so we don't know what to do. Know what the Buddha is facing."

Li Qianmo had already guessed such an answer, frowned and thought for a while, then raised his head and said: "Master, you just said that the Buddha left a writing before he passed away, can you let us have a look?"

Hongfa got up without hesitation and said, "Of course, you can come with a certain family." After saying that, he turned around and walked to the door. Li Qianmo and Chu Xingyao rushed to catch up and followed him.

Hongfa led them around the courtyard for a long time, and finally entered a deep courtyard. The buildings here are very old and a bit remote. At a glance, it is clear that no one lives there all year round. The courtyard grows There are eight huge linden trees, some of which have luxuriant branches and leaves, even though it is hot summer now, the yard is still quiet and shady.

The location of these eight bodhi trees is a bit strange. There are four directions, east, west, north, south, and there are two trees in each direction.

Li Qianmo hurriedly performed the Tianzi Wangqi technique, and he found a faint power emanating from the land under his feet. This power makes people calm and contains a powerful power of compassion.

Just when he was feeling the strange power left by the Buddha, Hongfa pointed to a stone tablet not far away, and said: "This stone tablet was originally empty. Before the Buddha died, he drove all his disciples out of the courtyard. After he passed away, when the disciples came to collect the relics for him, they found that the stele was engraved with words, which should be the last words left by the Buddha."

After hearing the words, Li Qianmo and Chu Xingyao immediately walked to the stele, looked carefully, and found that it said: "The catastrophe is approaching, and there is no escape from the catastrophe. If a certain family does not die, everyone will live a hard life. I am always happy and I am pure. null."

Chu Xingyao read the inscription according to the inscription, but only understood the first half, so he couldn't help turning his head and asking Hongfa: "Master, what does this 'I am always happy, I am pure, neither fake nor empty' mean?"

Hearing the words, Hongfa proclaimed the Buddha's name, and said with palms together: "The true meaning of this is the motto of the Buddha's insight into life and death. Have you seen the eight bodhi trees in this courtyard?"

Li Qianmo was puzzled when he heard the words: "I saw it as soon as I entered the yard. Is there anything weird about this tree?"

Hongfa nodded and said, "Do you think there is anything unusual about these eight trees?"

Li Qianmo took a closer look, stroked his chin and muttered: "These eight trees, there are two in each direction, and the two trees in each direction, one is flourishing, and the other is withered."

"It's true." Chu Xingyao also looked at Li Qianmo's words carefully, and found that it was so, he couldn't help but screamed in surprise.

Hongfa smiled and nodded, "Tan Yue really has good eyesight, and he can discover the mystery contained in it with just one glance."

Li Qianmo was stunned and said, "There is a mystery? What mystery?"

Hongfa smiled lightly and said: "A certain family just said that this is the motto of the Buddha's understanding of life and death. The bodhi tree is in a state of one withered and one prosperous, which means life and death of people. In Buddhism, it is permanence and impermanence. These four The lush trees represent Chang, Le, I, and Jing respectively; while the four withered trees represent the very, not happy, not self, and not pure; , north, south, west, east, neither false nor empty." When he finished speaking, he folded his palms together and recited, with an extremely pious appearance.
