"Welcome to my Buddha Shakyamuni Tathagata!"

In the voice of the Buddha full of awe and worship, the entire central whirling world seemed to freeze at this moment, and then, a round of dazzling golden sun rose slowly on the top of the seven-storey pagoda , the light shines on the entire world of the Pure Land.

And in the golden light all over the sky, a golden Buddha appeared on the top of the pagoda out of thin air.

Behind the golden Buddha, flames appeared out of thin air, and the flames swept across the sky. In the bursting flames, there were five Ming kings standing in it, either glaring or majestic and mysterious.

The Buddha was angry and turned into Ming Kings. They were born of the Buddha's evil thoughts, and they were also the main fighting force of the Buddha to suppress all foreign enemies. Basically, once the five Ming Kings came out, there were few opponents in the Three Realms.

"Meet the Buddha!"

The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas clasped their hands together again and performed the Buddha ceremony. After the Buddha smiled and nodded, everyone took their seats in front of the seven-story pagoda, waiting for the Buddha's next edict.

Sakyamuni Tathagata said: "Since the establishment of Mahayana Buddhism and the creation of the Central Posao Pure Land, although you have made great contributions to protecting Buddhism, the Dharma is still just a small way in the world of earth and immortality. It is a pity that you have no merit and cannot save the world."

"I want to launch a plan to travel to the west to learn Buddhist scriptures. Who among you would like to be reincarnated and reincarnated in Dongsheng Shenzhou, and be the one who learns scriptures?"

The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were silent for a while, and no one answered for a while.

The matter of learning scriptures is a major event. If the matter is completed, the Buddha will definitely reward it.

But this matter cannot be easily decided. After all, reincarnation is dangerous and unpredictable, and after reincarnation, the original self will die, and the new self will be born, and you will no longer be yourself. The choice between them is extremely difficult to decide.

"Dare to ask the Buddha, my Great Accomplishment and the transmission of the Dharma to the East is a major event that involves luck. Does the Heavenly Emperor agree to this matter?" A bodhisattva asked aloud.

"The spread of Buddhism to the east was something agreed upon between the Emperor of Heaven and me when the Earth Immortal Realm was established. The Emperor of Heaven has already agreed to this matter and will not obstruct it!" Buddha Nianhua said with a smile.

"So, very good!" The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas kept nodding and smiling.

"Dare to ask the Buddha, what are the requirements of those who don't know how to learn the scriptures?" asked a golden arhat.

"Those who learn from the scriptures must have the status of Bodhisattva, and have the heart of great love that is willing to give up their true self and save all living beings."

As soon as this request came out, the scene fell into a stagnation again. The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and monks lived well in this central whirling world one by one. There are really few people who have such great perseverance as those who learn from the scriptures.

For this situation, the Tathagata is not upset, he knows that even a Buddha, it is impossible to have no desires, but as long as the benefits are sufficient, he believes that there will be Bodhisattvas who are willing to accept this task.

"After learning the scriptures successfully, after the Dharma is spread to the east, you can get the Buddha's fruit!"

Sure enough, as soon as the Buddha said this, many bodhisattvas were tempted immediately. The road to promotion in Buddhism is very difficult. Generally speaking, even a strong person who has half a step of the Taiyi realm, if he is not recognized by the Buddha, he can still only be a bodhisattva , and cannot be promoted to the position of Buddha.

Buddha, not only represents power and status, but also represents the recognition of the central whirling world. With the Buddha's fruit status, there is an immortal existence in this central whirling world. Even if the power of the second realm descends, it will not be able to destroy both body and spirit of a Buddha.

Few Bodhisattvas can resist this kind of temptation to Buddhahood.

Sure enough, under the promise of the Buddha's fruit status, except for the Buddha's great disciples Avalokitesvara and Ksitigarbha, almost no other Bodhisattvas are unmoved.

Even Jin Chanzi, the Buddha's second disciple, was very moved, as if he was recommending himself.

The two venerable Ananda Kasyapa, who guarded the central Posah Pure Land world, also looked up at the Buddha full of expectation, their eyes full of longing.

Who wants to be just a gatekeeper for the rest of his life compared to the immortal Buddha?

Even if the real self will be lost after reincarnation, the experience of this life can only become the memory of the next life after awakening, but even so, the temptation to become a Buddha is enough to make people put everything down and fight hard.

The competition for Buddhist scriptures is extremely fierce. There are no fewer than ten thousand Bodhisattvas who have come to this central whirling world this time.
In the end, it was the Buddha's second disciple, Jin Chanzi, who was more suitable for the Buddhist scriptures in the Buddha's heart, and got the spot.

The bodhisattvas were helpless. After all, Jin Chanzi's qualifications were indeed higher than theirs in terms of Dharma practice and status. Just being a direct disciple of the Buddha was enough to suppress everyone.

"The candidates to learn from the scriptures are established. Next, we need to choose three guardians from the Three Realms. You can speak freely and recommend candidates!"

Journeying to the west to learn Buddhist scriptures is a major event, even if it is the Buddha, he dare not neglect it. Although it has been agreed with Emperor Gouchen to choose a monster king of the monster race as the protector, the process still needs to be gone through. Bodhisattvas are all involved, so that in the future, everyone will not work hard and delay major events.
