The traveler hurried to go like flying.The Venerable Bai Xiong, seeing that the traveler was approaching, was afraid that his stick would have no eyes and would injure his body indiscriminately for a while, so he smashed the sutra bag into pieces and threw it into the dust.Seeing that the sutra bag was broken and blown away by the fragrant wind, the traveler pressed the cloud head to look at the sutra and did not chase after it.Venerable Bai Xiong calmed down the wind and mist, and returned the ancient Buddha's question.

Tang Seng and his disciples picked up the scattered scriptures and saw that they were all blank scrolls. They thought that there was no human affairs and Anuo and Jiaye, so they made things difficult for them, so they returned to Lingshan.

Tang Seng told the Tathagata about this, but the Tathagata was friendly and didn't think that Anuo and Jiaye were at fault, and still asked Anuo and Jiaye to check several volumes of scriptures with words in each volume with Tang Monk.

The second venerable led the four people back, went under the treasure pavilion of Zhenlou, and still asked the Tang monk for some personnel.Sanzang had nothing to flatter, so he ordered Drifting Monk to take out the purple gold bowl and give it to the two of them.With personnel, things are easy to handle.Only then did the two venerables enter the pavilion to examine the scriptures, and checked them one by one with the Tripitaka. Tathagata elevated the lotus seat, commanded the two great arhats subduing the dragon and subduing the tiger to ring the cloud chimes, and invited three thousand Buddhas, three thousand Jiedi, eight Vajras, four bodhisattvas, five hundred arhats, eight hundred monks, and upasakas , Bhikkhunis, and upasyis, in every cave in the heavens and caves, in the blessed land of Lingshan, the holy monks, big and small, those who should sit on the throne, and those who should stand stand on both sides.For a time, Tianle was heard in the distance, the fairy voice was loud and clear, the sky was full of auspicious light, and the auspicious atmosphere was full of auspiciousness. All the Buddhas gathered together and saw the Tathagata.

Tathagata inquired about the total number of scriptures, and asked Tang Seng again.Only then did the four Tang monks, master and apprentice, thank them and leave.

After Tathagata sent Tang Seng away, the sutra preaching meeting was dispersed.Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva flashed to the side and put his palms together to enlighten the Buddha: "The disciple who received the golden decree to find the scriptures in the East has now succeeded. It took a total of 14 years, which is [-] days, and it is still [-] days less. It is not suitable for Tibetans." Count. I hope that my World-Honored One will send the holy monk back to the east and west, and within eight days, the disciples will return the gold decree after finishing the treasury." The Tathagata said with great joy: "What you said is very good, you must pay the gold decree. That is to say, the Eight Great Vajras ordered: "Use your power quickly to send the holy monk back to the east, pass on the scriptures, and lead the holy monk back to the west. You must complete the number of a collection within eight days, and you will not get it." It’s too late.” King Kong immediately caught up with Tang Seng and shouted: “Those who learn the scriptures, come with me!” Tang Seng and others were all light and healthy, swinging and floating, following King Kong, riding the clouds.

The Bodhisattva was also very happy and said, "Pay it, pay it." Then he asked: "Then the four monks of the Tang Dynasty, how did you feel along the way?" The gods said: " Sincerely and sincerely, I can’t escape the insight of the Bodhisattva. But it’s just the suffering that Tang Monk has suffered. It’s really indescribable. The disasters and tribulations he experienced along the way, the disciples have kept them in mind, and this is his disaster book.” The Bodhisattva started from the beginning. After reading it again, there were only eighty difficulties, but one difficulty was missing, so he taught Jiedi Feiyun to drive eastward, so that the eight vajras could make up the number.Eight Vajras got the order, brushed the wind down, and the four Tang monks, including horses and scriptures, fell to the ground.

Sanzang stepped on the mortal land, consciously frightened, and asked Sun Wukong to check, but it turned out that he had arrived at the Tongtianhe land.

This Tongtianhe is the last difficulty.

It turned out that Tang Monk and his disciples passed the Tongtian River for the first time on their way to Leiyin Temple, and they were carried across the river by an old tortoise. How long will it take for me to transform into a human body? After the four of them arrived at Leiyin Temple to learn scriptures, they forgot to ask the Buddha when they were excited. They still had to cross the Tongtian River when they came back. When they asked for the answer, they learned that the four had forgotten to ask, so they threw them into the river angrily. The four masters and apprentices managed to climb ashore in a panic. When they found that the scriptures were wet, they dried them on the boulder. After reading, some pages of the book stuck to the boulder, and the four hurriedly collected the scriptures and tore the pages glued to the big rock, resulting in the scriptures not being brought back to Datang in their entirety.

Ninety-nine and eighty-one sorrows were over, the second burst of fragrant wind from the Eight Great Vajras sent his four congregations to the Eastern Land within a day.

The four Tang monks, mentors and apprentices returned to the Tang Dynasty, and were warmly welcomed by Tang Taizong and all the officials.

On the same day, Tang Seng returned the decree, took out the certificate of customs clearance, and showed it to Emperor Taizong.Emperor Taizong was overjoyed and held a banquet for the four Tang monks, masters and apprentices.Civil and military officials lined up to the left and right, and Emperor Taizong was sitting in the middle, singing, dancing and playing bombs, neat and serious, so he had a good day.

The next day, Emperor Taizong ascended to the imperial court and wrote the "Preface to the Holy Teaching" to thank the monk Tang for his contribution to learning the scriptures. He also accepted Xiao Yu's suggestion and invited the monk Tang to go to Yanta Temple to perform the scriptures.The Tang monk held the scriptures on the stage, and suddenly heard the call of the eight great kings, and then flew away to the west.In a panic, Taizong and many officials bowed down to the sky.After Taizong and many officials paid homage, he selected eminent monks to build a water and land assembly in Yanta Temple, read and recite the "Tripitaka", transcend the ghosts of the ghosts, and spread the good news. The scriptures will be transcribed and spread to the world.

But it is said that the Eight Great Vajras, driving the fragrant wind, led the four elders, five horses, back to the Lingshan Mountain, going back and forth, within eight days.At this time, all the gods of Lingshan listened to the lecture in front of the Buddha.Eight Vajras led his master and apprentice in, and the Tathagata explained Tang Seng's life experience and rewarded him for his meritorious deeds.

Tathagata conferred Tang Monk as Zhan Tan Merit Buddha; Monkey King as Fighting Conqueror Buddha;

All the elders kowtowed to thank each other.Ma also thanked you.

Jiedi led the horse down to the edge of Hualong Pool on the back cliff of Lingshan Mountain, and pushed the horse into the pool.In a short while, the horse stretched out, shed its fur, changed its head and horns, covered its body with golden scales, and grew silver whiskers under its chin. It was full of auspiciousness, with four claws of auspicious clouds, flew out of Hualong Pond, and coiled around the mountain gate. On the pillar of Qingtianhua, all the Buddhas praised the great law of the Tathagata.

At the same time, Monkey King's golden hoop was also eliminated.

So far, Tang Seng and his party have completed their merits and virtues.
