Jane Austen was born in Steventon, Hampshire, England on December 1775, 12.

In 1783, he and his sister Cassandra were taught by Mrs. Cowley who lived in Oxford.

In 1785, he and his sister entered the monastery school in Reading.

In December 1786 the sisters left school to return to Steventon; Jane began her juvenile studies, which she completed in 12.

In 1794, Jane began writing the short story "Lady Susan".

In 1795, the epistolary novel "Elinor and Marianne" began; during Christmas, Jane and Tom Lefroy dated.

From October to August of the following year in 1796, the novel "First Impressions" was completed.

In 1797, the manuscript of "First Impressions" was returned by a London publishing house; in November, "Elinor and Marianne" was rewritten into a narrative form and renamed "Sense and Sensibility".

In 1798, began to write the novel "Susan".

In the summer of 1799, he finished writing "Susan" (later "Northanger Abbey").

In 1801, his father passed his parish duties and family home to his eldest son, James, and moved to Bath with his parents and sister.

In December 1802, Jane accepted the marriage proposal of her friend's younger brother Harris, but the engagement was revoked the next day; in the winter of the same year, "Susan" was changed.

In 1803, the manuscript "Susan" was sold in the spring, but it was not published for a long time.

In 1804, he began to write the novel "The Watsons", but gave up soon after.

In the autumn of 1806, he moved to Southampton with his mother and sister.

In April 1809, Jane wrote to the publisher to inquire whether "Susan" could be published; in July, she moved to a large cottage allocated by her brother Edward in the village of Chorton near Steventon, and was able to settle down.

In February 1811, he began to create "Mansfield Park", which was completed in July 2; in October, "Sense and Sensibility" was published; "First Impressions" was revised and renamed "Pride and Prejudice".

In 1813, Pride and Prejudice was published.

In January 1814, he began to create "Emma", which was completed in March of the following year; in May, "Mansfield Park" was published.

In August 1815, Jane began to create "Persuasion"; while in London, Jane visited Carlton Palace, the residence of the Regent, and was invited by the Regent to dedicate a work to him; at the end of the year, "Emma" was published, and Jane dedicated it to the Regent.

At the beginning of 1816, she felt unwell and still insisted on writing. Her brother Henry bought back her manuscript "Susan", and Jane revised it into "Northanjue Abbey" and completed "Persuasion".

In January 1817, he began to write his last novel "Sanditon", which had to be suspended in March due to his health deterioration, and quietly made a will in April; he went to Winchester for treatment in May, and died in the early morning of July 1. Buried in Winchester Cathedral. In December, Henry published "Northanger Abbey" and "Persuasion" on behalf of Jane, and signed Jane Austen's real name for the first time.
