Chapter 139
After Zhao Yunfeng arranged everything for Na in the hospital, he drove back home tiredly, but he couldn't find An Ran when he entered the house. He started calling An Ran's cell phone, but An Ran turned off the phone.

When An Ran's father opened the door, Zhao Yunfeng called out respectfully: "Dad, I'm here."

An Ran's father was a little displeased, but he couldn't say anything, "Come in."

Zhao Yunfeng: "Is An Ran here?"

Aunt Chen came out of the kitchen with a bowl of chicken soup. She complained, "Why did you come here? What did you do? My wife is dying of illness and I don't know."

Zhao Yunfeng: "Didn't An Ran leave the hospital after she had nothing to do? What happened to her?"

Aunt Chen pouted, "Go in and see for yourself."

Zhao Yunfeng quickly pushed open Anran's room door, only to see Anran, whom he hadn't seen for a long time, with blisters all over his mouth, lying there with a sallow face, and fell asleep.

An Ran's father: "If you want to send her to the hospital, she won't let you die, and you won't be notified. I just gave her medicine and her fever has subsided somewhat. You can stay here with her."

Zhao Yunfeng sat by the bed, he lifted An Ran's long hair wrapped around her neck, and clearly saw the scars he left on her.

"Mom, Mom, why didn't you wait and leave..." An Ran called out to Mom softly while crying.

Zhao Yunfeng was startled, at first he thought An Ran had woken up, but when he saw that An Ran was still asleep, she was talking in sleep, and she was crying while talking.

After a while, An Ran's tears wet the pillow, Zhao Yunfeng gently pushed her aside: "An Ran, An Ran, wake up."

An Ran opened her eyes with a dazed expression. She was immersed in a dream and hadn't escaped from the regret and grief of passing by her mother again, but she saw Zhao Yunfeng in front of her calling her name softly.

An Ran stared in a daze, Zhao Yunfeng wiped away the tears from her face, "If you hadn't had a high fever and talked nonsense in your dreams, I would never have imagined that you would cry like this."

An Ran seemed to wake up all of a sudden, "What are you doing here?"

Zhao Yunfeng: "I came to find you when you were not at home."

The weak An Ran was embraced by Zhao Yunfeng, "Let me go, don't touch me!"

Zhao Yunfeng knew that he had done too much in the past few days, and he wanted to ease the relationship, "I'm sorry."

An Ran: "No need, you don't need to apologize, and I won't accept it."

Zhao Yunfeng lowered his eyes and looked at An Ran, who was nestled in his arms and wanted to break free but had no strength, with deep, unreadable eyes under his thick eyelashes.
