This is the realm that can only be attained by the Arhats of the Four Fruits, "Destroying Concentration", destroying all afflictions, all desires, and completely eradicating self-attachment, achieving the "no leakage fruit" in Buddhism and the "seamless pagoda" in Taoism.

If you want to enter this state, you must cultivate the three fruits of immortality, and you can enter in the middle of concentration. They have no ego in the concentration, and they have eliminated their troubles, but as long as they leave the concentration, their heart of ego will rise again.

They can only temporarily enter the extinction state, in which they can live forever. An old monster like Ning Qing has lived for 3000 years, and he relies on this extinction state to achieve it.

In samadhi, the cells of the body no longer divide, the flow of qi completely stops, only the top of the head absorbs the energy of the universe, it only enters and exits, and is not consumed. The body has no feeling, the heart has no feeling, just sit like this, as long as no thought arises, Can sit for thousands of years without dying.

Isn't there a poem: One day in the cave, a thousand years in the world.

He couldn't think of a single thought, just sat like this, completely unconscious of body and mind, just closing and opening his eyes, a thousand years have passed, and this is how old people survive.

Dai Wu is only a second-class arhat now, to be able to reach this level is simply breaking the common sense.

But it is impossible for him to directly achieve the Arhatship of the Four Goals. He does not have this kind of ability, which is the patent of the Buddha.

Dai Wu just interrupted his self-grasping during the pilgrimage, unintentionally entered the state of extinction, and maintained this state. If once the pilgrimage is over, it will immediately be ashes to ashes, dust to dust, what should you do, or return to Original self.

Like ordinary Sotāpannas, when they break through to the second fruition, they can cut off their self-attachment, and they can only cut it off for a while. With such a momentary enlightenment, they are cut off, and they have achieved the second fruition. They rely on enlightenment, relying on unintentional acquisition of this thing.

But Dai Wu is different. Through asceticism and pilgrimage, he breaks his ego step by step, experiences the process, and grasps the process. Only by breaking the path of self-attachment can we maintain the state of extinction.

Entering the cave of the earth veins, Dai Wu continued to prostrate along the winding and circuitous passage, and went [-] meters underground, and came to the underground world like a dragon palace on the seabed. fairy.

And Dai Wu worshiped like this, came to the stalactite platform where Hu Qinyi used to meditate, knelt down three times and kowtowed nine times, and worshiped God.

At the last moment after worshiping, Dai Wu changed silently.

The state of extinction has receded, but the real body of the Arhat is revealed, the strange fragrance is wafting, the treasure is solemn, the hand holds the nameless seal, the body emits the light of self-nature, illuminating the whole underground, and the golden wheel runs behind him, covering half of his body.

There is only three inches of pure land outside the body, and it expands rapidly, until it reaches a radius of 20 meters, and then stops as if powerless, directly reaching the limit of the second fruit!
But now Dai Wu has completely returned to the way of Arhats, without the ferociousness of Asura, separated from the "demon" side, completely disconnected from greed, hatred and ignorance, and pulled out some thoughts and confusions, and his cultivation and knowledge are one step closer .

As for the changes in his appearance, apart from his more extraordinary demeanor, which makes people fascinated at first glance, and makes people feel infinitely fond of him, there are also some inexplicable things, more spirituality.

Yes, it is spirituality, like newborn children, they are innocent and kind, have little desire, and are very spiritual, making people feel so cute at first glance, and can't help but want to hug them and get closer.

Dai Wu is like this.

His appearance, before becoming an Arhat, can only be said to be not ugly, but after becoming an Arhat, he turned into a dignified appearance.

But now, just like those physical arhats, if you talk about his appearance separately, he is very ugly, too ugly to look at.

The forehead is sunken in the middle, protruding on both sides, with two big swellings, a very abrupt big nose, and a mouth full of sky. The teeth are very small, like rice grains, but they are all over the mouth, which is unpleasant no matter how you look at it.

But if you look at all these together, you will be more pleasing to the eye and more attractive, which will give you a wonderful feeling, that this person is very cute, and you want to get close.
