"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "There must be something beautiful in a trap, so accept it and leave it; the one who leaves is also beautiful." The two attached things must be separated, so it also has the meaning of attaching, coupling, and combining.Li Gua is the image of a yin line in the middle attached to two yang lines; thus it is named Li Gua.Li hexagram also symbolizes fire: fire is empty inside and bright on the outside, which is equivalent to the hexagram shape of yin deficiency in the middle and yang solid outside; moreover, fire must adhere to burning objects.Li Gua also represents the sun.The meaning of Youming is derived from fire.Objects between heaven and earth must be attached to some kind of object before they can exist; but the object of attachment must be right.The same is true of the objects people attach to, such as husband and wife, friends, work, ideals, etc.; therefore, it is beneficial to stick to the righteousness, and only then can we prosper.The cow is a very docile animal, which is a metaphor for the virtue of meekness, that is, attachment must stick to the right way to be beneficial and prosperous, but it must have the virtue of meekness to be auspicious.

"彖" says: Li is beautiful; the sun and the moon are as beautiful as the sky, and the hundred grains and grasses are as beautiful as the earth.Chongming is beautiful and upright, and it turns into the world.It is soft and beautiful, so it is "prosperous"; it is also "auspicious for livestock and cows".

"Li" is two deer side by side, which means to be attached to each other; Li has the same pronunciation as Li, so Li and Li mean to be attached.The sun and the moon are attached to the sky, all kinds of grains, plants, and trees are attached to the soil, and everything has an object to attach to; but it must be right.This hexagram is the overlapping of two Li hexagrams, and the Li hexagram represents light, so it is double light. "Six Two" is correct, and it is bright up and down, and it is bright and attached to the correct image, so it can educate the world and achieve the purpose of changing customs. "Six-two" and "Six-five" are both attached to the middle position with a soft line, and "Six-two" is in the upright position, soft and upright, so it is prosperous, just like raising docile cattle.

"Xiang" said: "Ming two works, separated, and adults will follow the light to illuminate the four directions."This hexagram is composed of two Li hexagrams representing light, symbolizing infinite light.Great people should follow this spirit.With a continuous and aboveboard attitude, it shines in all directions.

The ninth day of the ninth day: It is wrong to act wrongly, and there is no blame for respecting it.

"Xiang" said: "Respect" in "walking on mistakes" is to avoid blame.

"Running wrongly" is a mixed pattern of footprints, "dispelling" and avoiding the same. "Ninth Day"

Masculine and positive, at the beginning of the Li Gua, it symbolizes being smart and eager to make progress.However, at the beginning moment, the direction is uncertain, the rampage and the footsteps are disordered, and there is the possibility of falling into danger.Therefore, it is a warning that you must be cautious and not act rashly, so as to be as stated in "Xiang Zhuan".Avoid disaster.

This line shows that attachment should first recognize the object.Six two: Huang Li, Yuan Ji.

"Xiang" said: "Huang Li Yuan Ji", you can get the middle way. "Yellow" is the color of earth, and earth is in the center of the five elements, so it is a neutral color. "six two"

The middle position of the inner hexagram is therefore attached to the middle color; "Six Two" and the yin position of the yin line are upright, with the virtue of being upright, of course it is auspicious.This is similar to the meaning of "Huang Chang Yuan Ji" in the "Six Five" hexagram of Kun.

This line shows the principle of relying on the original Zhongzheng.

Ninth Three: The distance between the sun and the sun, if you sing without drums and fou, it will be a sigh for the old man, fierce.

"Xiang" said: "The distance between the sun and the sun", how long can it be. "Zan" means the sun is leaning towards the west. "Li" means bright, and "di" means an old man who is seven or eighty years old.

"Nine Three" Yang Yao is in the right position, in the middle of the upper and lower Ming, the former sun has already set and the sun is setting, and the latter sun is rising in the east.Therefore, when a person is dying, he should knock on the wine pot and sing loudly, and spend the remaining years happily, knowing the sky and happy fate; otherwise, he will feel sorry for himself and be sad in vain.This is of course dangerous.

This line shows that life and death are the common sense of nature, and one should know the principle of happy life in heaven.

Ninety-Four: Like coming suddenly, burning like, dying like, abandoning like.

"Xiang" said: "It comes suddenly like", there is nothing to tolerate. "Ru" is the same as Ran. "September [-]th" is at the junction of the upper and lower "li", that is, the sun. The sun in front has already set, and the sun behind is rising.However, the masculinity of the "September [-]th" can be said to be the main body of the latter sun; therefore, the "Sixth Five-Year Plan", which fiercely oppresses the feminine, has a sudden feeling, which symbolizes the death of the former Mingjun and the succession of the latter Mingjun. It is the moment when powerful treacherous ministers threaten the throne.A traitor like this is bound to be burned, killed, cast aside, and has no place to die.

This line shows that attachment cannot take advantage of people's dangers and use coercion.Sixth Five-Year: If the tears come out, if the power is sighed, auspicious.

"Xiang" said: The "auspiciousness" of the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" is also from the princes. "Tuoruo" means torrential and tears. The "Sixth Five-Year Plan" was weak and unrighteous. In the throne, he was persecuted by the masculinity of the upper and lower, so that he shed tears and sighed sadly.Fortunately, the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" is in the external hexagrams, with a gentle and neutral character. Although the situation is dangerous and you are worried day and night, but also because of this, you can turn the danger into safety, so it is auspicious.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: The auspiciousness of the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" is due to the status attached to the prince. Because of the noble status, treacherous villains will inevitably have scruples.

This line shows that attachment should be vigilant and use the principle of softness and neutrality.Upper Nine: The king used to go out to fight, he had good luck, he lost his head, and he was ugly when he was captured by bandits, no blame.

"Xiang" said: "The king uses it to go out to fight", and it is also the right state. "Ugly" means class. "Shangjiu" is already the brightest point of this hexagram, with a high position, able to see every corner of the country clearly, and masculine and decisive; therefore, it can use troops to kill evil people.However, it is not killing innocent people indiscriminately, it is the leader who is killed, and there is no need to go into the details of the captured accomplices, so there is no blame.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: This is a necessary means to straighten the country.So not to be blamed.

This line shows that evil should be categorically eliminated, but only the head of the evil should be killed, and the followers should not be punished.

Li Gua, explaining the principle of attachment.When you are in danger, you must cling to it, and only when you find support can you be safe.But to seek attachment, we should first recognize the goal and choose carefully.The principle of Zhongzheng should be grasped and not cheated.You should realize that ups and downs, life and death are natural and common sense, and know heaven and happiness, so that you won't find yourself in trouble because you can't get attachment.Attachment cannot take advantage of others' dangers and take coercive means to avoid disasters.To rely on the strong, you should be meek and moderate, and always be vigilant, in order to save yourself from danger.The purpose of attachment is unity; therefore, saboteurs should be wiped out categorically, but they should also be lenient.Only the head of the evil is eliminated, and the subordinates are not investigated.
