Chapter 10

Two years later, I entered junior high school and took classes in the same teaching building as my brother. He was on the fourth floor and I was on the first floor of the lowest floor.

There are still 5 minutes before the class time, I walked into the classroom with a thick stack of homework books, and distributed the homework books to the desks of the students before the bell rang.

When I walked back to my desk and sat down, my friend Gao Ying in the front row turned her head and looked at me with a pale face, "What's wrong with you?"

I watched her reply feebly, "I'm very dizzy."

I silently prayed that the teacher would never ask me to answer the questions, because I didn't listen at all, I really couldn't think about it, I didn't expect to be the first to call me up.

"How many years will it take for a sapling to be cut down after it is planted?" The teacher looked at me and pushed his glasses on the bridge of his nose.

I stood up without thinking, and answered without thinking, "One year."

There was an uproar in the classroom, and many students turned their heads and looked at me in surprise.

The teacher on the podium sneered, raised his hand to signal me to sit down, and called another classmate's name.

She got up and answered loudly, "10 years."

The teacher nodded for her to sit down, and soon started a long discussion on this issue, discussing the issue of vegetation cutting.

I lowered my head feebly, feeling dizzy, my deskmate Jiang Hao pushed his homework book in front of me, and it said, "What's wrong with you?"

After thinking about it, I wrote two words on it, "Fever."

When the school bell rang, I lay weakly on the desk, watching the students leave the classroom one by one.

Within a few minutes, my brother's figure suddenly appeared at the back door of the classroom. I guess Gao Ying should have run to tell him.

He touched my forehead and then his own, "I don't have a fever. Tell me, what's wrong with you?"

I hesitated for a while, a little embarrassed, "Brother, take off your coat and give it to me."

When I walked out of the classroom, I had a man's dark blue jacket on my waist.

Mom and Dad have activities in the evening, and my brother and I went back to grandpa's house.

In the dining room, grandma put the stewed black chicken soup in front of me and asked me to drink it, saying it would be good for my body.

I don't like the smell very much, so I just wanted to drink the soup, so I picked all the chicken in the soup bowl for my brother.

"Cissy, this is the soup that grandma specially made for you. You just want to eat it to replenish your body these days. What are you doing for your brother? Grandma's tone was a little displeased.

Tong Shaohua was stunned for a moment, glanced at me, and then said to grandma, "Is my sister sick?"

"Sissy in our family is no longer a little girl from now on." Grandma looked at him and smiled.

"Oh? She will always be a little girl in my heart." Grandpa looked sideways at grandma, but he didn't fully understand what grandma said.

"Shaohua, from now on you have to supervise Sissi, don't allow her to eat or touch cold food for a few days every month, don't drag her to run, let her pay more attention to keep warm and rest." Grandma's words couldn't be more clear.
"Grandma..." I blushed to my ears instantly, put down my chopsticks and protested loudly.
"What are you ashamed of? This is common sense." Grandma looked at me with a smile.

My elder brother seemed to understand something, glanced at me, and said to grandma, "Okay, I will remember."
