Life and Death in Tibet: The Dream of Chenye Chen
Chapter 14 Afterword
Chapter 14 Afterword
I copied and translated this story, weeping several times before and after.Since human beings have civilization, the events that have been solemnly recorded in words, sometimes thinking about it, are just dozens of them, over and over again, nothing more than Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, the marriage of Taoyuan or the well-known Trojan horse, and "Luxury". Binson Crusoe, The Metamorphosis.I thought that Chen Quzhen, a man who came out of the high mountains in China, recalled his early experiences, which were between the gaps in the era of great changes in ancient and modern China, and could be ranked among the famous ones. Not long ago, I had a phone call with Ma Lihua, the author of "Into Tibet", and I unintentionally summed it up as "the story of Xiyuan".Everyone knows that Xiyuan is the clever Tibetan girl in this great life-and-death adventure; if Chen Quzhen and 115 soldiers risked their lives to cross the world-famous Tanggula Mountain Pass and the Qiangtang Desert, and walked back to the mainland and walked 100 miles all the way , then, Xiyuan is just like a small grass on the vast road; but this small grass has saved the life of the whole incident related to it, and even the tragic historical facts and memories of the entire Chinese army's aid to Tibet. .She may also have revived a little inner emotion in the minds of us future readers, amidst the ups and downs of the vast sea of people...She is not the "Friday" beside Mr. Crusoe described by Defoe, but she is much more beautiful and precious than "Friday"!On the surface, what the author is describing and remembering is just an army, a thrilling adventure in a different place [-] years ago, but in fact, his pen, ink and effort are finally implemented on the indomitable and pure figure of the Tibetan woman .He remembered her beautiful face, and that face and figure were deeply engraved in the author's mind. It was the Garden of Eden in the wind and snow that could never return, and it was also a small secluded cemetery far away from the world. Those of us who are later generations can all go there to pay homage or worship with the logo of this book.We are going to worship a storm of love, a kind of character and tolerance, a warm embrace of a person on the vast wilderness-a pure and fearless, wild and beautiful heart that makes people cry.
