"Problem Solving"

The hexagram "Da You" is also called "Fire Sky Dayou".

Those who have a lot have a lot of things. The fire is in the sky, and all things in the world are under its illumination. In the "Six Five Years", one yin reigns supreme, and the upper and lower five yangs all correspond to it, so it is called "Da You".

"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "Those who are the same as others will return to where they are, so they are called "Da You"." This sentence clearly explains the reason why "Da You" closely follows "Tongren".

"Da You" mainly answers "what to do after receiving it from 'Da You'".The ninth line of the first day talks about keeping in mind the difficulties that have been experienced and the difficulties that may still arise. The ninth line talks about returning things, the ninth line shows arrogance, the ninth line shows arrogance in time, and the sixth line talks about success. , the last nine lines said that only by doing the above points can it last forever.

Yang Wanli's "Cheng Zhai Yi Zhuan" said: "Six Yaos are prosperous, one is good, two is good, and three is without blame. The wise master is above, and the group of sages is assembled; there is no villain who destroys the government, and there is no bandit who harms the government." "You" hexagram can also symbolize the "prosperous Meiji" in politics.Extensive symbolism is the characteristic of every hexagram and line in the Book of Changes.Specific events and images are only temporary borrowings, and what is borrowed is unimportant. The fundamental purpose of borrowing is to reveal the rise and fall of things. The principle of rise and fall is the commonality in everything, so everything can be borrowed and symbolized. This is the difficult part of "Book of Changes", but also the interesting part.Once you understand this point, you can know that the understanding of hexagrams and lines must not be too rigid.Otherwise, it cannot be called "easy".

The upper nine lines come from the blessing of "Heaven", which is naturally auspicious and always good.

"Xiang" says: Fire is in the sky, "Da You".A gentleman seeks to curb evil and promote good, and he lives in harmony with the sky. "Da You" "the ninth day of the first day", "no harm". "Big carts to carry", the accumulation of undefeated also. "The public is prosperous to the emperor", and the "little man" is also harmful. "It's not the fault of the bandit", it is clear and debating. "Juefu is like a friend", and faith is the source of ambition. The "auspiciousness" of "weiru" is easy but unprepared. "Da You" is auspicious, and it is also "blessed by God".

"Translation"

"Xiang Ci" says: The sun is shining in the sky, and the earth is full of harvests. This is the hexagram image of "Da You".From this, the gentleman realizes that he should punish evil and promote good, and follow the virtue of heaven to realize his destiny.

The "ninth day" line of the "Da You" hexagram emphasizes "no disaster at all".

(Nine and two lines) "The cart is full of plants" (storage), which means that (in a good year) a moderate storage of grain (in a bad year) will not cause trouble.

(Ninth third line) "The food enjoyment of princes and ministers can be compared with that of the emperor." If ordinary people do this, they must be terrified.

(Ninth and fourth line) "If you are rich but not arrogant, there will be no disasters", what you are talking about is to understand the truth.

(Six and five lines) "Those with status maintain integrity in dealing with others", which means that emphasizing faith will help realize ideals. The so-called "auspiciousness" that "its majesty is not diminished" means that it is not difficult or tiring to do so.

The reason for the auspiciousness of the upper nine lines of the hexagram "Da You" is that it "comes from the blessing of 'God'".
