"Problem Solving"

The "well" hexagram is also called "water wind well".

"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "Those who are trapped on the top will go down, so they are called "wells." If you go down if the top is not clear, you will always find a way. This is a general principle, which is used to explain the "well". Why does the hexagram "Sleepy" turn to the hexagram "Jing" all of a sudden, which is not very satisfactory.In fact, this kind of inheritance relationship is manifested in the meaning of words and hexagram images. "Sleepy" means that the trees can't grow, and the hexagram "Jing" has sunda wood and water on the upper ridge, and the saplings will grow vigorously with sufficient water, and the trouble will be solved at once. Therefore, the hexagram "Jing" closely follows the "sleepy" Gua comes.

The hexagram "Jing" praises Jingde, and the maintenance of Jingde depends on the smooth flow of "pipelines", which has enlightening significance in many aspects.For example, the use of talents, the source of information, the opening of the system, etc., all have a great relationship with the smooth flow.

"Translation"

The hexagram "Well" symbolizes water wells.The town can be moved, but it will still live around the well, and the water in the well will never increase or decrease, and people can come and go to the well to draw water.If the water dries up to the bottom, if you don’t go down to dig it out quickly, (other people who don’t know) will break the clay pot (as soon as it is put in), which is a bad omen.

On the sixth line of the first day, the well water is as muddy as mud and cannot be eaten; even the birds do not come to the abandoned old well.

In the second line of the ninth line, people went to the spring in the well to fish for loaches, and the earthen pots (people let it) for drawing water (there was no water for a long time) were broken.

Nine and three lines, the well water is too dirty to drink, which makes people sad.The day when the well water is drinkable is the day when the king is virtuous, and everyone will enjoy it.

In the sixth and fourth line, the wall of the well was repaired with bricks and stones, there is no fault.

In the ninth and fifth lines, the well water is as clear and sweet as spring water in winter, and everyone scrambles to eat it.

On the sixth line, after drawing water, there is no need to cover the mouth of the well.With integrity, great auspiciousness.

"Tuan Ci" says: Digging the ground along the water and then pumping it up is the image of the hexagram "The Well". It not only nourishes people but also draws inexhaustibly. "The town of Yi can be moved, but it will still live around the well" because (Shuijing is like a gentleman) has a masculine and upright character. "If the water is dry to the bottom, if you don't dig it out", the well will not be able to function. "The clay pot broke", (I couldn't live anymore) Of course it was "dangerous".

"Xiang" said: "There is water on wood, "well".The gentleman persuades the prime minister by laboring the people. "There is no food in the mud of the well", it is also down; "there is no poultry in the old well", it is also in Shishe. "Jinggu shootfish" has nothing to do with it. "Don't eat in the well" is to "feel"; to seek "Wang Ming" is to "receive blessings". "There is no blame for the well", which means repairing the well. The "food" of "Cold Spring" is Zhongzheng. "Yuanji" is on the top, and Dacheng is also.

"Xiang Ci" says: Use a bucket to draw out the well water, which is the image of the hexagram "Well".From this, the gentleman understands that he should try his best to serve the people and encourage people to help each other.

(The sixth line of the first day) "The well water is as muddy as mud and cannot be eaten" because the water level is too low. "Even the birds don't come to the abandoned old well", which means that it's really time to give up completely.

(Ninth second line) "People go to the spring in the well to fish for loaches", but they actually get nothing.

(Ninth third line) "The well water is too dirty to drink", and even passers-by will sigh; I hope that "the king is wise", and everyone will enjoy it.

([-]th line) "The wall of the well was rebuilt with bricks and stones" means that it should have been done long ago.

(Ninth Five Lines) "Spring water like winter" is "competing to eat" because of returning to the center.

(Upper Sixth Line) The ending of "great auspiciousness" depends on the great success of Jingde.
