Chapter 60 Huan Gua Nine
Down the ridge and up the Sunda
"Problem Solving"

The hexagram "Huan" is also called "Feng Shui Huan".

"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "Speak and then dissipate, so accept it." Long-term harmony, the system is easy to fall into a closed system, and there must be "washing" from the outside, so that the system can continue to radiate vitality, so the "Huan" hexagram It closely follows the "Dui" hexagram.

"Huan" means to disperse, but also to be grand, and it is a double-meaning word with opposite meanings, which means that there are two opposite probabilities at the same time.

Under the scouring of water, what people lose is dirt, and what they get is freshness.To sum up the "Huan" hexagram in one word, it is "baptism".

"Huan": Heng.Wang Jia has a temple, benefiting from Dachuan and Lizhen.

The sixth day of the lunar month: use the rescue horse to be strong, auspicious.

Ninety-two: Huan rushes to the opportunity, regrets death.

June Fourth: Huanqiqun, Yuanji; Huanyouqiu, incredible.

Ninth Five: Huan Khan's big name; Huan Wang's residence, no blame.

Upper Nine: loosen the blood, remove the tympanum, no blame.

"Translation"

The hexagram "Huan" symbolizes the erosion of water: prosperity.The king prayed for the blessings of the ancestors of the ancestral temple, which will help cross the great rivers and keep the right way.

On the sixth line of the first day, it is auspicious to be rescued by a strong and good horse (and to cross the rapids).

Nine and two lines, the water washes away the steps, and the regret disappears.

In the sixth and third line, the water washes the body without regret.

In the sixth and fourth lines, it is very auspicious for the water to wash away the people; but if it keeps washing the hills, it is a bit unbelievable (why does the water and soil keep losing?).

In the ninth and fifth line, the water washed away the stinky sweat all over his body, (the water flowed down) he shouted (comfortable); the water washed away the king, and there was no disaster.

Going up the ninth line, the water washes away the blood stains, and they never appear again after rushing far away, and there is no disaster.

"彖" says: "Huan", "Heng".Just arrived but not poor, so soft that the outside is the same. "The king has a temple in his house", and the king is in it. "Benefiting across the great river" is also meritorious for taking advantage of wood.

"Xuan Ci" says: "Huan" hexagram images can achieve "prosperity".The masculinity is constantly rushing, and the femininity is in the middle on the outside and is of one heart and one mind with the above. "The king prays for the blessings of the ancestors of the ancestral temple", which means that the king is also inseparable from Zhongzheng. "It is beneficial to cross the great river" means to reach the other side by boat.

"There is no blame for the king's residence", which means the right position. "Huan Qi Xue" is also far-reaching.

"Xiang Ci" says: The wind blows across the water, which is the image of the hexagram "Huan".The ancient kings used it to offer sacrifices to the Emperor of Heaven and build ancestral temples.

The reason why the "sixth line of the first day" is "auspicious" is because it follows the water flow.

(Ninth and second line) "The flow of water scours the steps" is exactly what one wishes.

(Sixth line) "Water washes the body", the ambition is still to develop outward.

([-]th line) "It is auspicious for the people to be washed away by the water flow", which means that the work of washing away will be magnified.

(Ninth and fifth lines) "(Water washes away) the palace, there will be no disaster", because it is located in the middle.

(Upper Nine Lines) "The water washes away the blood" is to avoid disasters far away.
