A carbuncle is an acute suppurative infection of multiple adjacent hair follicles and sebaceous glands between the skin and flesh.It occurs mostly on the neck, waist and back where the skin is firm and the sebaceous glands are abundant.At the beginning, it is reddish and hot, the surface is hard, the boundary is unclear, severe pain, and rapidly expands to the surrounding, nearby lymph nodes are swollen, accompanied by high fever, chills, headache, upset, and severe cases may develop secondary sepsis and even death.

[Preparation] Grind raw aconite with rice vinegar, mix thoroughly, and apply around the affected area.

2. [Composition] 10% garlic soaked in wine, 0.25% procaine solution.

Boils are a type of sores that are small in shape, deep-rooted, and hard as a ding, and mostly occur on the face, limbs, and trunk (the ends of raw fingers are swollen like snakes, so they are often called snake-head boils).It has a sudden onset and changes quickly. If it is not handled properly, it is easy to turn yellow, that is, the furuncle quickly dissipates in the blood system, and symptoms such as high fever and coma appear.Snakehead furuncle may be itchy or numb at the beginning, and gradually the pain intensifies, and the color is red or dark purple. When purulent, the redness and swelling are obvious.
