Its original meaning is just "patience" without the meaning of humiliation. Its intention is to tell us to have little patience for small things and great patience for big things.The Diamond Sutra tells us: "Everything can be accomplished through patience." Without patience, nothing can be accomplished.In terms of studying and studying, if you go to university for four years, you have to endure for four years. This is the principle that we must abide by in life, work and practice.Our practice is to correct our own wrong thoughts, words and deeds, not to correct the mistakes of others.One thing even if others are completely wrong, we should check and repent of our own karma.Master Xingyun's great blessings have a lot to do with his broad-mindedness in dealing with others.He often teaches his disciples that there are only four words in dealing with others - you are right and I am wrong.

There is another kind of person who is obviously in the wrong but unwilling to admit it.He felt that this would damage his prestige.This is wrong.Because truly authoritative people are not afraid to admit mistakes.If you can really admit your mistakes, your prestige will be higher. The Zen master mentioned above did not hurt his face by handling that incident. On the contrary, his image is greater, and everyone respects him more.Because what he did was to protect others, he did a lot of merit, touched others, and educated future generations.His prestige has not suffered.

Back then, Han Xin endured the humiliation for a while, but eventually he achieved a lot.It can be said that one who can endure humiliation will definitely make a difference.Just like Deng Xiaoping, the pioneer of reform and opening up, in the face of the ups and downs of the Cultural Revolution, he did not live in the shadows, and endured all insults with a heart of patience.
