Chapter 82
[Original text]

Faithful words[1] are not beautiful, and good words[2] are not believed.

Those who are good do not argue, those who argue are not good.

Those who know do not know, and those who know do not know.

The sage does not accumulate, the more he thinks of others, the more he has; the more he gives to others, the more he has.

The way of heaven, the way of benefiting but not harming the sages, the way of doing without fighting.

【Analysis】

True words are often unsound, and gorgeous words are often not the truth from the heart.

Kind-hearted people don't like eloquence, and people who are good at eloquence often have bad intentions.

People with true knowledge may not have extensive knowledge, and people with extensive knowledge may not all have true wisdom.

A sage never accumulates property selfishly, but takes out his property to help others, or shares it with others, and instead becomes richer; giving as much as possible to others can make himself richer.

The natural law of the world is beneficial to all things rather than harmful; the law of the sage is to help everyone instead of competing with others.

Mr. He Shang:
Believers, as it is.Those who are not beautiful are simple and quality.Those who speak well are beautiful words.Those who don't believe, pretending to be false and empty.

The good ones cultivate themselves with the Tao.Those who don't argue, don't write colorfully.Debaters are called clever words.Those who are not good will suffer from the tongue.There are jade in the mountains, and the mountains are dug; there are pearls in the water, and the abysses are muddy; arguing and talking too much kills the body.

Those who know are those who know.Those who do not blog, keep one yuan.Bloggers, learn more.Those who don't know, lose to be true.

A sage accumulates virtue but not wealth. He has virtue to teach the foolish, and wealth to fight the poor.As long as people are virtuous, the more virtuous they are.If you donate to others with money and bribes, the benefits will be great, like the light of the sun and the moon, and there will be no end.

All things are born in nature, love them, make them grow up, and do no harm.The sages follow the law of the heavens, turn them into things, and don't compete with their subordinates for fame, so they can fully perform their holy merits.
