Politely smiling and stretching his hand out for her to shake, Ling Zheng responded, "Nice to meet you as well Ms. Wu, I'll admit, I wasn't expecting the famous founder of Silver Tech to be such a pretty young lady."

"Haha, you flatter me Mr. Ling, your fame exceeds mine, being the second young master of the Ling family," calmly deflected Wu Lan, shaking his outstretched hand, 'This is too funny, I bet he thought I was a man! It really is a blessing to have such an androgynous name, there is never a dull day.'

After exchanging brief pleasantries, they both ordered their drinks and meals. After placing the orders, Wu Lan cut straight to the point. "Mr. Ling, for what purpose have you arranged this dinner with me?"

"Ms. Lan, I have asked to meet you today in order to propose a collaboration between our Ling Enterprises and your Silver Tech," Ling Zheng began saying with a formal tone.

"Shoot then, Mr. Ling," prodded Wu Lan.

"Our Ling Enterprises has a direct child company called Glacial Entertainment that I am primarily responsible for directing. Glacial Entertainment has recently risen to be one of the leading companies in the entertainment industry, and we feel like our technology is far behind the outstanding standard Glacial has. Here is where Silver Tech enters the equation. Silver Tech has been known to develop software and hardware that fits and exceeds the requirements of their clients, and has many examples of that standard everywhere in the world nowadays. From security cameras to highly innovative and secure products in the computer, cell phone, and overall smart device industry, Silver Tech has consistently outperformed all competitors. Many would argue that given a few more years, you will meet huge tech giants like Microsoft and Apple head to head, and this is no small feat. In order for us at Glacial to take further leaps and surpass ourselves and our competitors, we feel that Silver Tech fits our needs and ideals the best out of all tech corporations. What we would like to do exactly with Silver is to sign an exclusive developing contract, within the entertainment industry, for the duration of two years. We would like you to develop a line of devices for exclusive use by Glacial," continued Ling Zheng.

"I'll need to hear more details about this before I can acquiesce to anything, Mr. Ling," Wu Lan serenely said. 'Oh? An exclusive contract? I've been meaning to expand into the entertainment industry anyway, so I might as well give this young master a listen,' thought Wu Lan.

And so, the pair discussed the deal until the end of the dinner, when they determined that they would have to meet a few more times to finalize the contract details and such. "Ms. Wu, I have enjoyed this dinner with you, and here's to a good cooperation now and in the future," Ling Zheng said, a little tired. 'Damn it all, this woman won't even let the smallest detail go! No wonder she carried Silver Tech up so high, she left not a single stone left unturned tonight!' inwardly thought Ling Zheng.

"I look forward to our cooperation Mr. Ling. Have a good night," Wu Lan unhurriedly said. She shook his hand again, thinking 'It's been such a long time since someone actually negotiated with me in a business setting, I was getting very bored. This Ling Zheng might be worth working with.'
