Seeing Hunters emotional state, Fury asks. ''So he is not your brother?''

''No, he is not!...'' States Ethen, getting a grip on his own emotions. Having seen his fathers cape and his mother's sword being worn and wielded by this Hunter guy had really fucked with Ethens composure. ''... But I would love to know who he is and how he got here.''

''He has taken Romanov and collared Danvers. She has lost her powers ever since.'' Explains Fury.

Frowning Ethen asks Fury. ''May I have a look at that collar?''

''Here you go!...'' Says the Shield director, showing Ethen a scan of the collar nullifying Carols skills. ''... What do you think?''

Looking at the collar, Ethen frowns before stating. ''This looks pretty familiar. I think it is based on Power-dampening cuffs developed by

Cisco Ramon...''

Surprised Fury asks. ''So can you deactivate and remove it?''

''Not without the help of a very good hacker...'' Tells him Ethen before explaining. ''... This collar might have explosives build in that detonate the moment I forcefully remove the collar.''

''I think I know someone...'' States Fury before instructing the S.H.I.E.L.D. AI. ''... Contact Agent Danvers and Agent Coulson. Tell her we might have a way to remove the collar. Tell him that he should bring Miss Johnson.''

(S.H.I.E.L.D. AI) ''Affirmative... Contacting Agent Danvers and Agent Coulson...''

While Fury contacts his agents, Ethen mentally talks to Silver his rings AI. -Any idea on how to remove that collar?-

(Silver) ''Negative... No data found regarding the collar... Similarities detected to Cisco Ramon's Power-dampening cuffs and devices made by the Legion of Superheroes.''

-Can't be! The legion is nothing more than a glorified club for the last generation of Justice League descendants!-

-Wow! I didn't expect that! In my timeline, they were nothing more than a club of misfits! Then again I lived in the 22nd, not the 31st century!...- Thinking about having to fight that hunter guy, Ethen knows that he will need help to save Romanov at the same time. -Silver can you contact Tonjas 'Little Black' and have her meet me here?''

(Silver) ''Affirmative!''

-Good. Tell her to meet me here ASAP. I guess I will need her help...-

Half an hour later everybody has arrived and joined Ethen and Fury in an underground laboratory below the Shield Headquarter.

''So what is the problem?...'' Asks Daisy "Skye" Johnson. ''... Colson said you needed a hacker?''

''Yes, we do...'' States Fury, while Carol sits down in a chair exposing her neck so that everybody to see Hunters collar. ''... We need to remove this!''

Seeing the strange looking design of the collar Tonja asks. ''Who made this? This is a million years beyond us!''

''This was placed on Carol by a guy from my universe...'' Tells Ethen Tonya, while whispering it into her ear. ''... I will tell you everything later.''

Seeing Ethen be intimate with Tonya, Carol somehow feels jealous. Ever since having Ethen go straight into her face, she felt somehow different about him, so she says annoyed. ''Hello? The test subject would like to lose some metal!''

Checking out the collar, Skye gives up making sense out of the collars structure stating. ''I don't even know how to hack into that thing. Isn't it mechanical?''

''It looks like it, but it works on a very advanced software.'' States Ethen, as he plays with strands of Tonjas hair to make Carol even more jealous.

Ignoring Ethen playing with her hair, Tonja states. ''If I were the designer I would have included a port right around...'' As Tonja probes around at the collar suddenly the port snaps open. ''... Here!''

Connecting her laptop to the port after modeling a new connector, Skye looks at the code, shocked. ''Holy shit! Where did this collar come from? The future?''

Smiling wryly, Ethen comments. ''Something like that.''

''Shit this will take a while to sort through...'' Skye states, making out fragments of code she can make sense of.

Seeing Skye's unhappy face, Tonja proposes. ''I could connect 'Little Black' to the collar and use him to sort through the data faster. With his grown architecture, he is the most powerful AI I know.''

''If you are sure to let's do this!'' States Ethen, ignoring Fury who was about to stop them.

Ignoring Fury's reservations Tonja, Ethen and Skye are able to hack into Carol's collar.

''Got it! I am in!...'' Announces Skye to everyone after, before she discovers something bad. ''... Shit!...''

''What?'' Asks Carol

Sweating profusely Skyes curses. ''... Shit... Shit!... SHIT!!''

Frowning Fury asks. ''Miss Johnson. What did you find?''

Before Skye can answer Fury, Ethen uses his x-ray vision on the collar around Carol's neck. Seeing an electrical impulse rais to some explosive substances, he instantly uses his heat vision to fry the wire transmitting the impulse before it goes through.

All that happens in under the fourth of a second. Having already started frying parts of the collar, Ethen decides to continue with it. As simple as that, he starts frying almost any core component of the collar.

''What the fuck?'' He hears Skye cry out after he is done with his handy work while canceling his heat and x-ray vision. Having done everything at high speed, neither the people around nor the cameras noticed a thing.

Knowing that his boss is losing his patience, Colson asks. ''Skye what is it what you found?''

Still staring at her computer in disbelief, Sky murmers more to herself than anybody else. ''I thought I accidentally triggered the kill protocol... but now... most of the core component's are fried...''

''What?...'' Screams Carol before lowering her panic to a minimum. ''... What do you mean by kill protocol?''

Looking up, Skye explains. ''The collar is rigged with explosives. Removing or tampering triggers an explosion... I guess there is a manufacturing error with yours because instead of exploding most of the core components are fried.''

''What a minute...'' States Carol getting out of her chair, as she focuses her powers. Before long a photon blast shoots out of her closed fist. ''... Yes! My powers are back!''

Checking her computer, Sky comments. ''I guess that's only temporary, since a repair program just started.''

Seeing the fried parts repair themselves, Ethen asks. ''How much time does she have?''

Making some calculations and estimates, Skye tells everybody. ''24h max!''

''That has to be enough!...'' States Ethen, suddenly holding hands with Tonja while dragging Carol along, as he activates a Multiverse Gate in the laboratories entrance. ''... We will be back, soon!''
