A Mortal's Story of Cultivation into Immortality
Chapter 2547 Remarks
The book Mortal is finally over.
When I finished writing the last word and stopped writing, I felt both a huge sigh of relief and a feeling of emptiness that was hard to let go of.
I believe that many readers who have been following me will have similar feelings about this rather complicated mood.
This is the first time I have written this review, but I believe it will not be the last.
I looked at the mortal records;
The first upload was on February 20, 2008
First put on shelves on August 1, 2008
The end date of the full book is September 23, 2013
This book took a total of five years and seven months to write, with a total word count of more than seven million. Although it cannot be compared with other evil authors on the website, it is indeed a novel that contains a lot of effort.
The book Mortal took nearly three years to conceive.
When I started writing, I hesitated for a long time before finally deciding to become a writer.
After all, writing a novel for the first time cannot be compared with some veteran authors who have written several books. They encounter many difficulties and interference when starting to write.
Not to mention anything else, just the most basic task of coding on a computer almost scared me away.
Because before writing Mortal, I only knew some of the most basic computer operations and had never actually coded. I had always used the "one-finger Zen" approach to the keyboard.
I remember that when I coded the first chapter, it was only a little over 2,000 words long, and the content was already familiar in my mind, but it took me a full four hours.
But when I finished coding this chapter, I felt a sense of accomplishment that I had never experienced before.
This feeling is one of the reasons why I continue to persevere.
However, what really motivated me to finish coding Mortals day by day and night by night was the love and praise of this book by many loyal Mortal readers.
More than five years of perseverance have allowed many readers to form deep relationships with mortals, and it has also allowed me to make many enthusiastic friends.
Here, I once again express my sincere thanks and gratitude to these readers and book friends!
This feeling of happiness being recognized by others is, I believe, what all authors long for most.
Compared with the original outline, the completed version of Mortal has added many things, but also reduced some elements and content.
I think these elements are not necessary in mortals, and I plan to use them to build another fairy world in the new book.
The name of the new book is announced directly here. It is called "The Devil's Sky" and is planned to be uploaded in November.
This book has also been conceived for quite some time. Although I haven't started writing it yet, I believe it is also a very exciting novel. I hope everyone will like it equally.
Haha, I will also type out some more archived manuscripts during the break of more than a month, so that everyone can read them all at once!
Okay, that’s it for the testimonials!
The next time Wangyu meets everyone, it should be in the book "The Devil's Sky".
I wish everyone good health and a happy life!
